Couldn’t agree more about the ideal size of Full Moon treats. My Goldendoodle, Daisy, loves them too. However, don’t overlook the crumb situation that comes with this treat. Every time Daisy has her mouthful, she leaves quite a mess around which can be tedious to clean up. It might help to feed your pooch these treats outside or over an easy-to-clean floor mat. Just my two cents from my experience with these goodies.

Oh, boy, Full Moon treats? Tell me about it! My pug, Flossy, could probably power a small city with the energy she gets from those things. Nice size for her little mouth and they actually seem to last longer than other treats we’ve tried. Material seems more durable and firm which is great for her teeth, I guess. Paid through the nose at the boutique downtown though…anyone know where to get them on discount? FYI, if your pup has sensitive tummy issues you might wanna consult your vet first before switching treats.

I’ve been a dog owner for almost two decades now and I too have tried Greenies with my smart Border Collie, Scout. Don’t get me wrong, they’re great treats and Scout usually enjoys them. I would like to point out though that they can be a bit expensive and the size of the treat doesn’t last for a substantially long time. In my personal experience, I found Bully Sticks as a cost-effective but also enjoyable alternative for Scout. Always important to remind folks, it’s best to consult with your vet before introducing any new treats into your pet’s diet. Anyone tried Bully Sticks too?

I’ve got a bit of a different take on the Nutro treats. While it’s great that they’re cost-effective and available in various sizes, I found them to be somewhat crumbly for my Cocker Spaniel, Daisy. Maybe she’s a little too enthusiastic about treat time, but we ended up with quite the mess to clean up afterward. For me, durability is key so she can enjoy her goodies without leaving half of it on the floor.

I’d recommend trying out less crumbly alternatives; you might have to pay a bit extra, but it could save you from an unexpected cleaning spree! Just remember always to keep monitoring your fur-buddy’s reactions when trying new treats – what doesn’t work for one dog might be perfect for another. And consult with your vet if there are any changes in thier behavior or health. Our pups are unique after all – isn’t that why we love them?

I’m also a big fan of Fromm treats, they’ve been a regular part of my Labradoodle, Teddy’s, diet. He is on the larger side and even then, we find these treats last him a good while during training sessions. Makes it less likely he’ll gobble them up in one go like some other treat brands we’ve tried before. But my real win with Fromm’s is their ingredient list- seems pretty clean to me and Teddy digests them well. The price point might be slightly higher than some other options but personally, I believe in investing in good quality food products for my doggo. Totally worth every penny if you ask me! If anyone’s thinking about trying them out but worried about the cost, maybe think of it as an investment for your fur kid’s health in the long run?

Absolutely agree about your take on Fromm dog treats. My German Shepherd, Max, can’t seem to get enough of them. I was initially hesitant about the price tag but after seeing how crazy Max goes for them, all my doubts vanished into thin air. They’re bigger in size compared to his previous nibbles which last him a whole lot longer.

However, you mentioned your pup having some digestion difficulties afterward. It’s interesting because Max never had those issues after switching to Fromm. I wonder if it could be specific to certain dog breeds or dietary preferences? Have you tried consulting your vet? They might provide some helpful insights into this.

By the way, anybody else noted that these treats do wonders for bad breath? A reason more for me to stick with ’em!

Absolutely joining the chorus of Stewart dog treats fans here! I have a feisty little Jack Russel, notorious for turning his nose up at most treats, but he absolutely adores these stewarts. The bite-sized pieces are perfect for someone like him whose small size doesn’t deter his huge personality. Plus the resealable bag? Genius in my book; keeps ’em fresh and tasty. No more dealing with stale treats here! So yup, big thumbs up from this corner for Stewart dog treats!. Has anyone else noticed their dog showing more enthusiasm during training sessions when these treats are involved?

I have to admit, my Goldendoodle pup loves Grandma Lucy’s treats. The size is excellent for training sessions; not too big that he gets full too fast, yet satisfying enough to keep his interest peaked. One thing I’ve noticed, however, is that they can be a bit crumbly – well, at least when they’re handled by over-excited puppy paws! For smaller pups or those on a stricter diet, always consider a dog’s overall calorie intake and portion these accordingly. The price does lean towards the high end, but in my opinion, it is absolutely worth it considering the quality and how much my fur baby enjoys them!

So, you’re talking about Happy Hips, huh? Well, let me tell ya something. My Bulldog, Gertie, isn’t very picky but she snubbed Happy Hips dog treats like they were last month’s kibble. They are a bit pricey in comparison to others out there and the size wasn’t the best fit for her grande jaws. So if you have a large breed, maybe consider that. Plus side – durability is quite something; those things survived several rounds of ‘hide & seek’ around the house (a game we play where I hide treats and she finds them). If your pooch is a petite one with a love for long-lasting snacks, sure! Give ’em a go. But those things are getting dusty here with my ol’ Gertie! Consult with a vet if you have any concerns about dietary changes and always monitor new foods/treats.

folks, it’s wonderful to see such positive reviews about Buddy Biscuits! I started giving these treats to my Dalmatian, Oscar, about a year ago and noticed that he enjoys them as well. They’re great in size for him, not too small and not too large. However, I do wonder about the ingredient list. Has anyone checked whether they are all-natural? For me the health aspect is pretty important and I consult with my vet frequently to ensure the snacks I’m providing to Oscar is up to his dietary needs.
My only note would be that if your pup has never tried these biscuits before, gradually introduce them into their diet to avoid any potential stomach upset. Would love to hear more about your experiences with these treats!

I’m in complete agreement with your review on Plato Dog Treats. We’ve been using them for a while now and my golden retriever, Bailey, absolutely loves them! To talk about the size, they’re jsut right for medium to large dogs and have great crunch factor that can satisfy any pup’s chewing needs.

In terms of price, yes they are a bit on the pricier side but considering their quality and the fact they’re made with natural ingredients without any added artificial preservatives or colors, I’d say it’s pretty reasonable.

One thing I would add though is that as with introducing any new treat or food to your pet, starting slow is key. I started Bailey off with one treat a day and then steadily increased the amount.

Has anyone else had positive experiences with Plato Dog Treats on their smaller breeds? Just wondering how they handled the size.

Yeah, totally with you on this one. Iams Dry Dog Food has been nothing short of miraculous for my picky eater too. Somehow they’ve got this knack of sizing the kibble just right – not too big, not too small, Goldilocks would have swapped her porridge for it.

Now let’s talk price. For what you get, it’s insane. In a good way, of course! My wallet isn’t constantly weeping and that always scores bonus points in my book. Now here’s a funny happenstance – the other day, in a bout of amnesia, I picked up another brand (the budget was tight okay). Well guess who flatly refused dinner? Yep, Sir Woofsalot preferred to go to bed on an empty stomach than dare lower his standards!

Just out of curiosity tho, how long did it take for your pup to adjust to the new food? And did you mix it in with the old food first?
