I totally agree with you on the Pawfit 3’s stylish design, it’s a standout for sure. Got one for my Labrador, Ruffles, about two months ago and he doesn’t mind wearing it at all – and trust me, he’s usually fussy about dog gear. The size was spot-on and its durability has been surprisingly good, considering his energetic personality and love for outdoors. What impressed me the most though is the battery life which is just phenomenal; hardly needs recharging.

For the price, I’d say it’s a pretty solid investment if you’re looking to keep tabs on your pooch’s activity levels. Just one little tip – make sure you explain to your furry friend what’s going on when you first put it on ’em; Ruffles was a bit disconcerted at first but got used to Pawfit after a day or two. Anyone else found their pup took a while to adjust?

Totally on board with you about the Pawfit 3. My Great Dane, Muffin, has been wearing it for a couple of months and I must say, the durability is impressive. Not to mention how small and light it is – fits her just right without being bothersome. Nice combo of fashion-meets-function, and pretty decent price tag for what it offers.

A quick anecdote, my previous doggie GPS was solid but altogether too chunky; Muffin never seemed comfortable with it, poor thing. The Pawfit 3 was an instant hit though! Would suggest taking some time to get your pooch used to wearing any kind of techy gear like this.

Anyone else tried incorporating this kind of device in their training regime? Strategies, thoughts or different tools you’ve found useful?

Just wanted to chime in on the Pawfit 3 debate! I have to agree with you guys about the sheer quality of this tracker. My Cocker Spaniel, Millie, has been rockin it for a few weeks now and i’m super impressive with its durability. She’s quite the adventurer, always off chasing squirrels and such, and the Pawfit 3 hasn’t shown any signs of damage yet. However– anyone noticed how quickly the battery drains? Maybe it’s just Millie’s active lifestyle but seems like we have to charge it more than expected. Anyway, love that it’s water-resistant too– no issues after a surprise jump into our garden pond! Could save some battery life if there was an option to adjust tracking intensity based on dog breed tho ¯_(ツ)_/¯.

All in all, worth every penny for that peace of mind! Seconding the cleaning advice: quick wipe down every week with a damp cloth works wonders from what I’ve observed. Love how easy it is to manage and keep clean alongside my busy timetable. So anyone debating whether or not to get a Pawfit 3, I say go for it! But be prepared for more frequent charging if your dog is anything like my adventurous Millie!

Oh, I can’t tell you how much my Labrador, Rusty, loves his Pawfit 3! The size is perfect for him – not too big or small and the quality of the material is top-notch; it’s really durable. I was worried that he might find it uncomfortable or chew on it, turns out he barely notices it’s there, even during our frisbee rounds. In terms of price, yes, it’s not the cheapest out there but you get what you pay for: longevity and style in one product. Just a heads up though – make sure to regularly clean the band especially if your dog loves outdoor adventures as much as Rusty does! Dirt might accumulate and could potentially irritate their skin over time (though we haven’t had this issue yet). Worth every penny in my opinion!

Really enjoyed reading all your Pawfit 3 experiences! I’ve got one for my little beagle, Charlie. The material is soft and the size fits just right on her tiny paw – no complaints there. But what totally won me over is its durability. Just the other day, Charlie decided to dig up half the backyard. She came in muddy as all get out, but the Pawfit 3? Spotless after a quick rinse! Now if that doesn’t speak volumes about the product quality, I don’t know what does. As for price, personally I think it’s worth every cent looking at how comfortably Charlie has taken to it and all the things it can do.

Just jumped into the conversation here – I’ve been using the Pawfit 3 for my golden retriever, Max, for about a month now and I can vouch for its pretty durable material. Especially because, you know, Goldens do have this “tendency” to turn everything into a chew toy! The size and weight of the device are absolutely non-invasive for him. Now here’s my question: Has anyone else noticed that the battery life isn’t as long as advertised? Maybe it’s just mine. Would love to get some feedback on that. Also, is there any specific cleaning technique for it? Does simply wiping it suffice?

Your replies have been super helpful, everyone! I’ve got a Pawfit 3 for Bonnie, my border collie, and she’s been happily wearing it everywhere. The durable material has even withstood her tendency to tumble around in the underbrush during our hikes. However, I’ve noticed that the Pawfit can be a bit pricey so always watch out for sales or discounts. As for intro steps, seduced Bonnie with some tasty treats to get used to it on her collar and walked her around the house to start off. So far, so good! Also worth noting though that while this device is great for keeping tabs on your dog’s location, it doesn’t replace an ID tag with your contact info. You def need both on your fur baby’s collar. Anyone else try equipping their pup with Pawfit while indoor or just around the yard first?

Got to interject here with a slightly different spin – I’ve got a medium-sized bulldog and tried the Pawfit 3 too. While it does have good features, it seemed pretty bulky on our craggy boy, Bowser. We’ve switched to the Whistle Go Explore which he took to immediately and it fits better on his sturdy frame. Plus, it’s more budget-friendly.

Anyone else tried both and want to share their take? Dog gadget chat is always great ‘cos one size definitely doesn’t fit all our quirky fur-buddies haha!

folks, I see a lot of love for the Pawfit 3 here, and I can totally get why. I had one for my German Shepard, Loki, but noticed it was a little too bulky for him. On larger dogs it probably sits fine, but on Loki, it seemed kind of awkward. What we ended up doing was switching to the Tractive GPS Tracker – also waterproof, sturdy and stylish! However, it’s slightly smaller than the Pawfit 3 which was a better fit for Loki’s size. Just something to consider if you have a mid-sized pooch like mine! Plus points – Tractive also has amazing customer service. Anybody else tried this tracker or any other good alternatives for mid-sized dogs?

Question: Has anyone tried the Pawfit 3 on a smaller breed like a Jack Russel or Boston Terrier? I have two little furballs at home, Socks and Nugget. While I applaud the feature-packed functionality and durable material that you guys are praising, I’m curious about the device’s size for petite pooches. Can it be adjusted small enough without slipping or becoming too tight? Any insight would be much appreciated!

Just chiming in here with my take. I’ve got a West Highland Terrier, wee little guy but full of energy. I was wary about getting the Pawfit 3 as I wasn’t sure how it’d suit his size. However, it fits just right annd he seems to barely notice it’s there! And it’s endured his various adventures so far, making the price more than worth it in my book. One tip for those with smaller breeds considering this – the material can attract fur quite a bit, so giving it a quick clean every now and then helps avoid any fuzz build up. This has been a daily go-to for us, making our puzzle-solving walks easier to navigate and giving me peace of mind on account of the GPS functionality. Any other small dog owners out there who’ve tried this? Would love to hear your thoughts too!

Just popping in to share my two cents. While the Pawfit 3 is undeniably a great choice for larger pooches, it’s a bit of an overkill for my petite Spaniel in terms of size annd weight. After trying out a few options, the Tractive GPS seemed a more appropriate fit – lighter in weight and still comes with reliable tracking features. Price-wise, it’s also more wallet-friendly. All said, consult your vet if you notice any discomfort from your dog wearing these devices.

Anyone else found alternatives worth considering for smaller breeds?

there dog lovers! Proud parent of a petite Pomeranian, and we’ve been using the Pawfit 3 for about a month now. It’s solidly built and fits my little fluff ball just fine with the adjustable settings. Though it’s a bit pricier than some alternatives, the added peace of mind is compeltely worth it. A little tip – if you’re worried about size, mabye put it on your pup’s harness instead of their collar, that helped us get a better fit. I hope this helps you with your decision making! Any others out there using the Pawfit on smaller breeds?

While Pawfit 3 is impressive tech-wise, I’ve got to stick up for us small dog owners. My Chihuahua couldn’t really handle its size, even tho the material seemed quite comfortable and durable. It was like him carrying a walkie-talkie around his neck! Yea, it’s got good features but I’d recommend the MiniFinder Atto for the little guys out there. Very light and more suited to their body size. Still able to tract your pet’s location with ease without them feeling too encumbered by it. Has anyone else tried it?

fellow dog enthusiasts! I’ve been using Pawfit 3 for around six months now, with my trusty Labrador, Rover. In terms of durability and price, it’s been a no-brainer—we’ve had some rough and tumble adventures, and it’s still in tip-top shape! My main gripe? The size is quite hefty for smaller breeds. So while I can vouch for its efficiency on a larger dog like mine, petite pooches could find it a tad overwhelming. I recommend trying to find something more size-appropriate if you’ve got an adorable Chihuahua or Pomeranian to kit out. Thoughts?
