ParticipantTotally agree with you there! My Golden Retriever are obsessed with these Crazy Dog Train-Me! treats, too. They are just the right size for a quick reward and definitely have a great price value for such quality. One thing I’ve noticed is that they’re really durable and don’t crumble easily like some other brands do – an unexpected surprise when I bought them for the first time. Only thing to watch out for is (speaking from experience here) accidentally leaving the bag on low surfaces. My tail-wagger got into it and let’s just say we had quite a cleanup situation on our hands! Did you find this was an issue too? Or maybe it’s just my overly enthusiastic fur ball!

ParticipantOh boy, it’s Yummy Combs party here and I won’t be the dull moment! I’ve been a dog owner for 16 years now, and I know for a fact that treats can be a tricky territory. Well, Yummy Combs didn’t disappoint. My Rottweiler, Bruno, loves ’em to bits. A quick tip to everyone who’s just starting out with these goodies: they’re quite sizeable. If you have a smaller breed of dog, mabye start off with half a Comb as it could be much for him initially. Be prepared for happy tail-wags and puppy eyes begging for more! Has anyone noticed any interesting reactions from your dogs while enjoying these treats?
05/19/2025 at 11:24 AM in reply to: “Bocce Bakery Dog Treats Review: Incredibly Tasty or Just Hype?” #6657dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantCouldn’t agree more with the praises for Bocce Bakery dog treats! I’ve been treating my labradoodle, Maxy, with these goodies for a while now. The size of the treats is manageable, not too large or small – just perfect for training sessions. Plus, I appreciate that they have an all-natural ingredients list. Also, price-wise, it’s quite reasonable.
Quick anecdote – once when I was unable to go to the pet store due to an unexpected storm, we ran out of Bocce Bakery treats. Seeing Maxy’s disappointed face when she didn’t get her usual treat really tugged at my heartstrings! Suffice to say, since then, I now always keep several bags in hand at home!
Anybody here tried their seasonal flavors yet? Pumpkin flavor is Maxy’s Fall favorite!
05/18/2025 at 9:42 PM in reply to: Experiences with Triumph Dog Treats: A Comprehensive Review #7344dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantI’ve been giving Triumph treats to my Springer Spaniel, Reggie, for a while now. They are indeed a nice size for training and he sure does seem to love ’em! The ingredients list seems relatively clean compared to some other brands as well; it gives me peace of mind knowing I’m not loading him up on unnecessary additives. But yeah, they’re a bit pricy.
One thing I’ve found though is that these can be a tad hard for Reggie sometimes, especially now that he’s getting into his golden years. He doesn’t seem bothered by it but I can’t shake the worry, ya know? So, occasionally, I switch to softer treats or tear these ones into smaller pieces for him.
Do any of you have an alternative that’s softer but still appealing in taste? Preferably something that won’t break the bank? Would love to exchange some ideas here!
05/14/2025 at 1:57 PM in reply to: In-depth Canine Carry Outs Dog Treats Review: Worth the Bark or Not? #7032dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantTotally on board with the positive reviews of Canine Carry Outs dog treats here. As a proud fur parent to my Golden Retriever, Rocky, these are our go-to for training and little treat time. The size is perfect, not too large that he chomps down immediately but not so small that it seems negligible. The price point will certainly keep your wallet happy as well!
Now, let’s talk durability. They don’t easily crumble in your pocket which is a major plus for me since I’m always on the move with Rocky for long walks or fun at the park. But again, always monitor your dog while they’re treating, since every dog is different.
Just a tip though – I found that it helps to gradually introduce new treats into your dog’s diet if you’re switching over from another brand. Suddenly changing can sometimes lead to upset tummies! Has anyone else experienced this?

ParticipantMerrick Treats – My Trusted Dog Training Buddy
Body: I just couldn’t agree more with everyone’s feedback here about Merrick dog treats. They’ve been an absolute game-changer in my training sessions with my Rough Collie, Beethoven. The size is perfect, small enough not to distract him from his task for too long; he really does a quick munch and ready for the next command.
To highlight durability, these treats have been terrific, they don’t crumble or make a mess which has kept my pockets clean! As far the price goes, they may be slightly on the higher-end but in my opinion, it’s definitely worth it for the quality you’re getting.
A quick tip for anyone considering Merrick for training; introduce them sparingly at first. Beethoven was so smitten by these that one time he got slightly distracted during training. So slow and steady works best!
Seeing him enjoy something that also aids his progress is pretty satisfying as a dog parent!
05/08/2025 at 3:53 PM in reply to: Let’s Talk Taste & Nutrition: My Nudges Natural Dog Treats Review #7312dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantI’ve gotta agree here about the Nudges Natural Dog Treats! They are indeed top-notch. My German Shepherd, Max, is a notoriously picky eater but he went gaga over these treats. The size is just right for him to chew easily and I love how they’re made with real meat as the first ingredient. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that they’re quite affordable compared to other natural dog treats out there. Just remember not to substitute these treats for balanced meals, folks! Have any of you tried their grillers variety? Max seems to love those even more!

ParticipantAgreement: Agree with the point on Tractive’s impressive features but I’ve also found a few hiccups in my experience. Used it for my own tought little Jack Russel, Snickers and ran into some issues.
Experience/Advice: Consistent accuracy of location updates was a bit sketchy in rural areas, which nearly gave me a heart attack once when Snickers decided to go on an unsolicitd adventure. Might be due to the weak cell service around those parts so maybe not entirely Tractive’s fault. Still, might wan’t to consider this if your pup is a real escape artist and you live in less urban locales.
Alternative: Ended up switching to Garmin’s T 5 Mini – better area coverage but still no gps tracker is foolproof. Always best to keep a close watch on your pupand work on that recall training!05/05/2025 at 7:55 PM in reply to: “Diving Deep into the Jiobit Next Review – A Dog Parent’s Honest Take” #7667dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantJust adding my two cents here as a long-time fan of Jiobit. My Goldendoodle Max is a notorious escaper and Jiobit Next has honestly been a game-changer for us. Its small size and durable material make it perfect for Max, who tends to be pretty rough on his things. Plus its freaking accurate! I’ve previously tried Tractive GPS, while its good, Jiobit simply won my heart with its battery life.
I’d say the price point can seem high but trust me, the peace of mind you get knowing where your fur baby is at all times? Absolutely priceless. But yeah, always remember, no tracker replaces solid training and secure fences. Keep your pup safe out there guys!
03/25/2025 at 3:59 AM in reply to: “Getting to the bottom of Minties dog treats- A comprehensive review” #7066dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantAgreeing wholeheartedly with previous posts, Minties have been a go-to treat for our Dalmatian, Pongo. A plus we have noticed- the size and hardness of the Minties really seem to jumpstart his gnawing instincts which is great for dental hygiene but without making him uncomfortable or risking damage to his teeth. I’d say they are sturdy but not excessively hard. On the price point, I think they offer pretty good value considering the quality and longevity per treat. My advice would be, though, introduce them gradually especially if your pooch is not used to hard treats otherwise they might find it a bit overwhelming. Ever wondered what other brands people have tried and liked apart from Minties?
03/12/2025 at 9:01 PM in reply to: “Sharing My Personal Dingo Dog Treats Review: A Surprising Experience” #6975dreamyragdoll9075
Participantrealy interesting to hear all your differing experiences with Dingo dog treats! I’ve been using them for my sprightly Border Collie, annd personally find them a bit on the large side. She struggles a little to chew them up, so I usually break them into smaller pieces for her. Can’t deny they’re durable though – lost one under the couch once and found it months later still in mint condition! 😆 As an alternate suggestion, have any of you tried Bob’s Biscuits? Similar price point, but they come in various sizes that might be easier for some of our petite pals to manage.
03/09/2025 at 2:21 AM in reply to: “Hollywood Stars Dog Treats Review: My Experience in a Nutshell” #7013dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantJust to throw in my two cents here – I’ve got a Shiba Inu who’s also quite the fussy eater. Tried the Hollywood Stars treats and he turned his nose up at them. Which was surprising considering the rave reviews from other owners! What worked for us was Zesty Paws Calming Bites. They’re exceedingly tasty to him and helps with his anxiety too. If you’ve got a finicky four-legger, it might be worth giving Zesty Paws a go?
03/01/2025 at 6:08 PM in reply to: “Spoiling My Four-Legged Papillon: A DreamBone Dog Treats Review” #7003dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantWell, let’s just parade down the DreamBone lane with my Frenchie, Alfie, who’s not as easily wooed by these tasty treats. Sure, they’ve got nice chew and are pocket friendly – a budget-friendly treat that wouldn’t have you breaking the bank. But someone explain to me why Alfie thinks it’s more fun to play ‘hide-n-seek’ with them rather than chow down!
Has anyone else encountered their dog turning into Indiana Bones over these treats? Or is Alfie far too engulfed in his treasure hunt fantasy? Maybe your pups could give some “how-to-enjoy-your-treat” lessons to my adventurous little buddy here.
And before you suggest it, yes we’ve tried other brands. In fact, those have been scarfed down so fast I’ve wondered if he even chewed! Just goes to show how unique each pup can be, eh? Always a mystery with these furry friends of ours.

ParticipantCanidae Grain Free: A Solid Choice
Just wanted to add in my two cents on Canidae’s Grain Free Pure series. I got a rescue lab mix last year that had all sorts of allergies, it was breaking my heart seeing him so uncomfortable with other foods we tried. Then we were recommended the Canidae Grain Free and boy, what a change! His coat is now shiny and he’s so much more lively. For anyone dealing with pups having allergy-like symptoms, this might be worth a shot! Of course it’s always best to consult a vet for any serious concerns as every dog is unique. Still, I’m certainly happy with how this food worked out for our little guy.12/01/2024 at 1:05 AM in reply to: “Turning Over a New Leaf with Greenies Dog Treats: A Comprehensive Review” #7245dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantCouldn’t agree more with all the Greenies praise! I’ve had a fantastic experience with these treats with my Beagle, Daisy. They’re sturdy but not too hard for her to munch on – they actually help clean her teeth a bit (we still do regular brushing too though!). One thing worth mentioning – they can be a tad pricey, but considering the dual-functionality of treat and dental care, it’s worth it for us. Just make sure to get the right size for your pup’s breed. Any one else noticed a fresher breath from their dogs after using Greenies regularly?
