ParticipantI absolutely agree with your review on the Jiobit Next – it was spot-on, particularly in heralding its compact size and endurability. I’ve had this device for my Brittany spaniel, Dexter, for over six months now, and it’s still working like a charm despite his non-stop energy and penchant for mischief. For any skeptical folks out there, take it from someone who’s seen their dog run through woods, jumping into puddles without any damage to the tracker! Pricey, sure, but worth considering for peace of mind. But remember to attach it well; had one scare when the clasp came off during a particularly rough game of fetch! Anyone else with active pups have similar experiences? Maybe we could share some attachment tips?

ParticipantTotally agree with your points about Jiobit Next. The compact size and secure material build certainly add to its charm – it fits my Lab quite comfortably. However, I feel the need to stress on its battery life, which for me made a huge difference. Think back a couple of months, we took a road trip to the mountains with Chocolate (my Lab πΆ) and even after a day filled with trails & adventures, the Jiobit Next was still functional without needing an immediate recharge! My advice here would be to double-check how often it needs recharging based on your pet’s activity level and lifestyle. Despite the price tag being a bit on the higher end, I’d say it’s absolutely worth it for peace of mind when it comes to our fur babies’ safety.
Anyone else had similar (or different) experiences concerning battery life?

ParticipantSpot-on about the Jiobit Next Reviews, folks! I recently got one for my French Bulldog, Bubbles. She’s a little escape artist and always getting into mischief. The compact size didn’t bother her at all and it didn’t weigh down her collar.
The material feels sturdy and durable – it stood up to Bubbles’s incessant scratching! However, I do wish the price was a bit more affordable. Personally I found that the peace of mind it brought me knowing where Bubbles was scampering off to was worth the cost.
One tip to new Jiobit owners: There could be a bit of an adjusting phase for dogs not accustomed to wearing anything on thier collars. So, take your time and let your pup get used to it before letting them roam freely with the Jiobit Next attached.
That being said, has anyone else experienced minor issues with the app’s GPS tracking accuracy? It is giving exact locations in most cases but sometimes there seemed minor discrepancies which got resolved once I restarted the app. Please share your experiences.

ParticipantWhile I see a lot of love for Jiobit Next in this thread, have any of you tried the Tractive GPS Dog Tracker? Its main selling point: worldwide coverage! I bought one for my globetrotter Golden Retriever, Apollo. The lad loves going on trips with me, and Tractive has been a lifesaver whenever he embarks on his mini adventures while we’re abroad. Thing is as durable as they come and the price doesnβt make your wallet cry. Are there anyone else here using it or is it just us?

ParticipantTotally with you guys on this! I initially chose Jiobit Next for its size and durability and it hasn’t disappointed me yet. It’s as sturdy as they come and perfect for my energetic Boxer, Max. He has a knack for being a bit of an escape artist, but the Jiobit Next’s reliable tracking allows us to find him without issue when he goes on spontaneous adventures.
As far as Tractive GPS goes, I haven’t tried it out yet. But considering the performance of Jiobit Next and its reasonable price point, I’m not quite motivated to switch anytime soon. Did anyone notice any significant improvements when switching to Tractive from Jiobit? Might consider it if there are any worthwhile advantages.

ParticipantI agree that the durability and size of the Jiobit Next are indeed huge selling points. However, I personally have been using the Pawfit 2 for my hyperactive Beagle, Bailey. While it’s a bit larger than the Jiobit, Pawfit 2’s rock-solid build is worth mentioning. It’s endured countless rough and tumble play dates, rainy walks, and even Bailey’s occasional digging escapades in the backyard, talk about a real test! No sign of any serious wear after six months. And itβs also a pretty neat price point compared to Jiobit Next. jsut something you might wanna check out, folks!

ParticipantJust adding my two cents here as a long-time fan of Jiobit. My Goldendoodle Max is a notorious escaper and Jiobit Next has honestly been a game-changer for us. Its small size and durable material make it perfect for Max, who tends to be pretty rough on his things. Plus its freaking accurate! I’ve previously tried Tractive GPS, while its good, Jiobit simply won my heart with its battery life.
I’d say the price point can seem high but trust me, the peace of mind you get knowing where your fur baby is at all times? Absolutely priceless. But yeah, always remember, no tracker replaces solid training and secure fences. Keep your pup safe out there guys!

ParticipantWhile I can see the appeal of Jiobit Next, especially for larger dogs or those with a propensity to wander, I’ve had a different experience. When my Pomeranian Bella bolted yesterday (bless her adventurous spirit), my trusty Whistle GO Explore came in for the save. It’s smaller and lighter, an important factor when your pooch falls into the petite category like mine does. The battery life has also proven sufficient. That said, I’m keen on hearing about any other tracking devices what you guys might recommend? Different strokes for different folks (or dogs) after all!

ParticipantI absolutely agree with the points made about the Jiobit’s durability. With my mischievous Lab, Bella, who loves swimming in the creek and darting through dense woods, it has truly stood up to the test of time β no scratches or breaks! However, for smaller doggies, I found that its size can seem a tad overwhelming. For them, I’d recommend considering pet trackers like the Whistle GO Explore β it’s just as durable but slighty more compact. Also remember, no matter which tracker you choose, always attach it securely to prevent it from getting lost during their adventures! Anybody else here with small pups have recommedations on how to make larger trackers work?

I’ve been using Joibit for agews with my adventurous collie, Duke, and it’s been a godsend – he’s wriggled out of his collar more times than I can count! The device is robust and waterproof; once Duke took a plunge in the lake, but the Jiobit came out working perfectly. The key, as I’ve found, is to make sure you select the right trim size when purchasing – too snug and it might chaff your pup. Keep an eye on their neck area for irritation during first couple of weeks. Anyone else’s pooch turned into a Houdini with their collar?

ParticipantI gotta tell you, Jiobit has been an absolute lifesaver for us with our mischievous collie, Duke. The device is impressively durable – Duke is quite the adventurer and it’s stood up to all his romping around in the great outdoors. Also, while some might be put off by the price, I genuinely believe the peace of mind Jiobit gives you is worth every penny. For those of you with super active dogs like mine, could there be any other accessories or tricks you use that can help to track or contain their energy levels? Let’s share our wisdom and lend a hand to the fellow dog parents out there!

ParticipantI’ve been taking Duke on trail runs since he was a pup, annd Jiobit has given me such peace of mind. Can’t tell you how many times this lil device has saved me from panicking when I lost sight of him behind a bend or over a hill. Its compact size makes it easy to attach, even for long-term use, without making Duke uncomfortable – kudos to thier design team. And yes as someone already pointed out, its durability is top-notch, meaning rough on trails won’t be a problem! The initial cost might seem high, but trust me it’s worth every penny considering the relief it brings. For first timers, I’d recommend taking a couple of days at home first to get your dog used to wearing it before venturing outside.

ParticipantAbsolutely agree with you on the Jiobit Next! We’ve got a lively border terrier who loves to wander, and this tracker has done wonders for our peace of mind. The battery life is surprisingly long-lasting and the device itself is pretty durable – Jerry’s rolled down hills, played tug-of-war with it, and it’s still going strong. For those considering purchasing, make sure to introduce it gradually to your dog; we associated it with treat time so now Jerry actually gets excited when it’s time to put it on! Definitely a worthwhile investment in my opinion, especially if your dog has a tiny streak of Houdini in them like ours does!

ParticipantI can echo the sentiments expressed here about Jiobit Next β it’s a fantastic tracker. As someone who shares their life with an adventurous Jack Russell, Zoey, I found its compact size convenient, and it doesn’t seem to bother her at all. I’ve even put it through the washing machine by mistake one time (oops!), and it still works impeccably β definitely durable! My only gripe is that the price might be steep for some dog parents who are on a tight budget. A worthwhile alternative could be the Tractive GPS tracker; we used this before switching to Jiobit and found it reliable for basic tracking needs. Just curious, has any folks tried both? If so, which one you find better and why?
