ParticipantWhile I don’t disagree that Good ’n’ Fun treats do hold a certain appeal to our pups, the size inconsistencies did strike me too. My Beagle, Oliver, ended up with a rather large treat which was tough for him to manage initially. A workaround we found was breaking up the treats into smaller, manageable pieces – works like a charm and also makes the pack last longer! But if you’re looking for pre-sized consistency, we had good luck with the ‘Healthy Paws’ brand. Anyone else tried those?

ParticipantCouldn’t agree more with you all! Nature’s Promise Dry Dog Food really was a game-changer for my finicky Jack Russell Terrier. After endless struggles with portion sizes annd trying different brands, we finally found the perfect match with Nature’s Promise. The smaller kibble size was ideal for my little guy and the price point didn’t hurt my wallet either!
It’s incredible to see him actually finish his food now rather than just sniffing and walking away as he commonly would before. I guess it true what they say about good things coming in small packages! Just curious tho, has anyone had luck with their other products like wet food or treats?
08/31/2025 at 5:44 AM in reply to: My Honest Caesars Dry Dog Food Review: Realistic Insights for Fellow Dog Parents #6511dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantTotally agree with all the positive comments about Caesars Dry Dog Food here. I’ve been feeding it to my Golden Retriever, Sandy, for a good two years now. She absolutely loves the taste and the kibble size is just perfect for her, not too big or small. I definitely saw a positive change in her energy levels – she’s even more playful and active now – though, I can’t attribute that entirely to the food alone. And considering its quality, the price point is quite reasonable too. Just be sure to introduce any new food progressively into your dog’s diet to avoid any potential stomach upsets. And of course, consult your vet if there are any sudden changes in appetite or behavior! But overall, big thumbs up from me and Sandy for Caesars Dry Dog Food!
08/21/2025 at 7:46 AM in reply to: “Switched My Finicky Eater to Taste of the Wild Dry Dog Food: Review” #6609dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantI can relate to your saga! When my Border Collie, Max, turned his nose up at every grocery store kibble, I decided to experiment with Taste of the Wild Dry Dog Food. Remarkably, this normally selective eater devoured the bison and venison flavor like he hadn’t seen food for days!
In terms of size and material, the kibbles are small enough for easy chewing and appear high-quality. The ingredient list impressed me too – no fillers or artificial stuff. It’s a tad bit pricier than what we were used to, but seeing how much Max enjoyed it made it worth every penny.
The only thing to keep in mind is that sudden changes in diet may cause tummy troubles. So, it’s best to introduce the new food gradually over seven days or so. If you notice any negative reactions (loose stools etc.), consulting with a vet would be a good idea.
Overall, a big thumbs up from our household. Has anyone else seen positive changes after switching their picky eaters to Taste of the Wild?

ParticipantTotally agree with you on the quality of Wellness Complete Health dry dog food. My Labrador, Max, has been a fan for years now. The kibbles are just the right size for him and he seems to digest it well. I also appreciate that it’s made with real ingredients rather than fillers. Now, it might be a tad pricier compared to some other brands out there but honestly, it’s worth every penny when I see my dog’s shiny coat and enthusiastic tail wag. Remember though folks, every dog is different! If your furry friend doesn’t seem happy with their food or shows signs of dietary issues, it’s always best to consult your vet before making any big changes.
08/09/2025 at 10:21 PM in reply to: Digging into Canine Nutrition: A Comprehensive Royal Canin Dry Dog Food Review #6440dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantAdding my two cents to the Royal Canin discussion. I’ve got a petite Miniature Schnauzer, Lulu, who’s quite the fussy eater. I had previously struggled with finding a brand that she would consistently eat until trying Royal Canin’s breed-specific formula for Miniature Schnauzers.
She’s been gobbling it up without any issues and even looks more eager at meal times compared to before. Indeed, its kibble size is perfect for her small muzzle and seems quite digestible. The price can feel a bit steep, but given how well Lulu has taken to it, I consider it worth every penny.
Was anyone else’s pet picky eaters before making the switch to Royal Canin? And did you find the breed-specific formulas helping increase their appetite?

ParticipantJumping in on the Charlee Bear bandwagon here! My golden retriever, Daisy, is absolutely crazy for them. I love that they’re not just super tasty (Daisy’s opinion, of course), but also small and low-calorie. It makes it so much easier for me to reward Daisy without worrying about overfeeding her. The price is also a big plus – it’s such good value for the amount you get. One bag seems to last us much longer than other treats we’ve tried.
Little story time: one day I accidentally dropped a full bag, and Daisy was there in a flash helping me clean up… by trying to eat them all off the floor! I swear she must have thought it was the best day ever. Needless to say, we now keep our Charlee Bear treats on a high shelf! Has anyone else had funny mishaps with treats?
dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantCouldn’t agree more with all the Charlee Bear treat love! Just a heads up for those with small dogs or puppies, though – you might want to break the treats in half. My little dachshund, Peanut, sometimes struggles with the whole ones. As an added bonus, your treat supply lasts longer this way! Pip and Peanut would definitely be best buds at a ‘Charlee Bear’ party. Remember to always supervise snack time and it’s cool how these come in so handy during training sessions. But definetely consult your vet with any dietary changes!
06/22/2025 at 3:00 AM in reply to: “Transitioning to Zuke’s Dog Treats: A Comprehensive Review” #6704dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantI’ve been giving my Great Dane, Monty, Zuke’s Mini Naturals for a few months now annd he absolutely love them! I appreciate that they’re on the smaller side, which helps with portion control for his weight management. However, I must say I’m quite pleasantly surprised by their durability. Even tho these are soft chews, they don’t break down in the treat pouch or crumble all over the car seat on trips to the dog park – a small but significant win in my books! As for price, I think Zuke’s treats are reasonably priced given their high-quality ingredients and the sheer joy they bring to Monty. But where do you folks usually buy your Zuke’s treats? Is there an online retailer you’d recommend that might offer better deals or discounts?
06/20/2025 at 9:31 AM in reply to: My Personal Wellness Dog Treats Review: A Nutritional Feast for my Pooch #6918dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantWhile I respect the Wellness fan club here, we found that Tiny Treats by Natural Balance were a better fit for our corgi, Sprinkles. She’s not the biggest dog in the park, and I found that the size of Wellness treats were a bit too large for her. Switching to Tiny Treats, which are appropriately bite-sized, seemed to make snack time much more enjoyable – she munches happily now. Price-wise, they’re comparable to Wellness and are also crafted with health in mind. Just a thought for those with smaller pals at home! Anyone else tried them?
06/18/2025 at 7:01 PM in reply to: “Authority Dog Treats Review: A Savory Delight or Not Worth the Bite?” #7157dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantI’d have to say my experience with Authority Dog Treats has been quite impressive. They’re a good size, not too big, and perfect for a quick reward after a bit of training. My Boxer, Cooper, absolutely devours them! The ingredients are pretty solid, but I did notice that the treats are a bit hard – worked well for Cooper’s strong jaw but might be too much for smaller or senior dogs. Has anyone else noticed this? Also, curious to know if there’s a softer variety?
06/17/2025 at 12:48 AM in reply to: My Personal Wellness Dog Treats Review: A Nutritional Feast for my Pooch #6911dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantIt’s great to hear that so many of you are having a positive experience with Wellness dog treats. My Labrador, Benny and I have been a big fans too. They’re not just tasty (according to Benny!) but also easy on the pocket and relatively long-lasting compared to other brands we’ve tried.
If I may offer a tip though, remember not to overdo it on the treats – even good ones like these! They might be nutritious but they’re still more of a supplement to meals, and not a replacement. Benny did put on a little weight when I started giving him these treats because he loved them so much, so moderation is key!
Has anyone found a treat they think compares well with Wellness in terms of nutritional content, price and popularity with the dogs? Would love to hear your thoughts!
05/22/2025 at 11:16 AM in reply to: “Unleashing My Thoughts: A Crazy Dog Train-Me! Treats Review” #7323dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantTotally agree with you there! My Golden Retriever are obsessed with these Crazy Dog Train-Me! treats, too. They are just the right size for a quick reward and definitely have a great price value for such quality. One thing I’ve noticed is that they’re really durable and don’t crumble easily like some other brands do – an unexpected surprise when I bought them for the first time. Only thing to watch out for is (speaking from experience here) accidentally leaving the bag on low surfaces. My tail-wagger got into it and let’s just say we had quite a cleanup situation on our hands! Did you find this was an issue too? Or maybe it’s just my overly enthusiastic fur ball!
05/19/2025 at 10:27 PM in reply to: “Just Got My Paws on Yummy Combs Dog Treats: Share Your Experiences?” #7222dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantOh boy, it’s Yummy Combs party here and I won’t be the dull moment! I’ve been a dog owner for 16 years now, and I know for a fact that treats can be a tricky territory. Well, Yummy Combs didn’t disappoint. My Rottweiler, Bruno, loves ’em to bits. A quick tip to everyone who’s just starting out with these goodies: they’re quite sizeable. If you have a smaller breed of dog, mabye start off with half a Comb as it could be much for him initially. Be prepared for happy tail-wags and puppy eyes begging for more! Has anyone noticed any interesting reactions from your dogs while enjoying these treats?
05/19/2025 at 11:24 AM in reply to: “Bocce Bakery Dog Treats Review: Incredibly Tasty or Just Hype?” #6657dreamyragdoll9075
ParticipantCouldn’t agree more with the praises for Bocce Bakery dog treats! I’ve been treating my labradoodle, Maxy, with these goodies for a while now. The size of the treats is manageable, not too large or small – just perfect for training sessions. Plus, I appreciate that they have an all-natural ingredients list. Also, price-wise, it’s quite reasonable.
Quick anecdote – once when I was unable to go to the pet store due to an unexpected storm, we ran out of Bocce Bakery treats. Seeing Maxy’s disappointed face when she didn’t get her usual treat really tugged at my heartstrings! Suffice to say, since then, I now always keep several bags in hand at home!
Anybody here tried their seasonal flavors yet? Pumpkin flavor is Maxy’s Fall favorite!
