ParticipantTotally agree with your review of Blue Buffalo dog treats. I’ve been using them for years to reward my furry pal, Rufus – a Great Dane with an appetite the size of Texas! The treats are definitely pricey, but they’re like the Rolls Royce of doggo snacks: top-notch quality, premium ingredients and they’re chunky enough for larger breeds.
One thing to watch out though – Rufus once found the bag and scoffed down half of it in one go! Not surprisingly he wasn’t interested in his dinner that night. So, be sure to store them somewhere out-of-reach if you have a voracious eater on your hands too.
Anyone else experienced this with their dogs? Or is it just sneaky ol’ Rufus here? Love to hear your stories.
06/05/2025 at 3:11 AM in reply to: Experiences with Triumph Dog Treats: A Comprehensive Review #7354Snuggly-Bulldog-9569
ParticipantAlright, so I haven’t got a dog myself but my sister who lives next door swears by these Triumph Dog treats. She’s been using them for her two rambunctious pugs and she keeps raving about how well they’ve taken to them. The price is pretty reasonable too considering the quality and durability of these treats. But, since everyone here seems to be rather positive about them, has anyone observed their dogs chewing on these any longer than usual? Or is my sister’s dog just an unusually persistent nibbler?
06/04/2025 at 6:50 AM in reply to: “SpotOn GPS Fence Review: A Game Changer for Outdoor Adventures!” #7781Snuggly-Bulldog-9569
ParticipantAs a long-time dog owner, I’ve found the SpotOn GPS Fence incredibly convenient for my adventurous Border Collie. The size is perfect and it’s made from durable material which has stood up well to regular use over the past year. At first, I was on the fence (no pun intended) about buying it due to the price but it’s worth every penny!
You know those days when you’re camping in an unfamiliar place and you’re constantly worried your fur baby might wander off? This GPS fence has completely put my mind at ease during these trips. Also, remember that there’s a learning curve when setting it up for the first time; it may require some patience!
As for cleaning, it isn’t too complicated – every now and then I just wipe it down with a damp cloth and it’s good as new. My only gripe is that we had to do quite a lot of training tweaks before my Collie got comfortable with where his boundaries were.
Does anyone else have any other tips or tricks they’ve found helpful with using this product?

ParticipantEchoing the Praise for Crazy Dog Train-Me! Treats
Body: Just gotta toss my leash into this discussion, as I’m also a major fan of Crazy Dog Train-Me! treats. My lab mix, Samson, is typically finicky when it comes to treat selection – but these? An absolute hit. Pocket-friendly tin makes it perfect trail snacks during our morning jogs and the durability is top-notch too; they don’t crumble in my pocket. On the pricing part, they’re just as affordable as any other quality training treat out there. To any new dog parents out there, one tip I’d give you is to try introducing treats gradually into training; don’t shower them all at once, Samson definitely works harder for his nibbles. How about you folks? Any specific commands your dogs learned faster with these treats? Let’s keep this treat talk going!
05/10/2025 at 5:28 PM in reply to: Let’s Talk Taste & Nutrition: My Nudges Natural Dog Treats Review #7315Snuggly-Bulldog-9569
ParticipantI’ve got to chime in here with my own two cents. I’ve been using different dog treats for my pudgy pug, Toby, but haven’t found quite the right one until we tried Nudges Natural. I love that they’re made in the USA and don’t have any artificial additives.
Here’s a little story: one day, I accidentally dropped a treat on the floor and instead of gobbling it up right away (which is typical Toby behavior), he took his sweet time sniffing it and then finally savored every bite. It was like he knew these were extra special treats!
In terms of price, they are a wee bit pricier compared to other options, but considering the quality and balanced nutrition they offer, it’s definitly worth tthe cost. It gives an added assurance when you can trust what’s going into your fur-baby’s tummy.
Anyone else notice their dogs savoring these treats or is it just Toby being a gourmet?
05/04/2025 at 6:55 AM in reply to: “My Honest Whimzees Dog Treats Review: A Game Changer For My Picky Eater” #6833Snuggly-Bulldog-9569
ParticipantThe Whimzees dog treats have truly been a surprise for me and my Bullmastiff, Bruno. Owing to his size, I initially had some doubts about the chewability and durability of these treats. Well, they proved me wrong! Bruno is in love with them and it’s really fun watching him gnaw away at those cute treat shapes.
What I also appreciated was the variety in sizes and styles offered – there was definitely something for every doggo out there. This not only added an element of excitement for Bruno but also helped to maintain good oral health without causing any discomfort or harm.
Price-wise, yes, they are on the higher end compared to other products on the market, but considering how long they last and their evident quality…I’d say it’s a worthy investment!
Do any of you folks know if the company makes similar treats catered towards specific dietary requirements? For example gluten-free or low-fat options? Thanks for sharing your experiences!

Participantthere, fellow NutriSource fans! Chiming in here with my little fur-baby experience. My Irish Setter, Ronnie, has been hooked on these treats ever since his early puppy days. There’s definitely something about the size and texture of NutriSource that just seems to stimulate their inherent love for chewing. Ronnie, being a big fella with a hearty appetite, likes his treats slightly larger, so I often buy the bigger variant.
From an owner perspective, I appreciate the durable packaging – it really is dog-proof (and believe me, Ronnie has tried to get into it plenty of times). Pricing isn’t painful either when considering the quality we’re getting. Here’s a tip though: always keep them stored in cool place as they tend to lose their crunchiness if left out for too long.
Please don’t take this as undeniable fact; every dog’s preference might skew differently. Still uncertain on what your pupper will enjoy? Trial packs are your friend! And remember, especially when introducing new snacks or diet changes it is always smart to consult with your vet first. Happy treating!

ParticipantAbsolutely loved the personal stories shared in this thread! The Garmin Dog GPS has been a lifesaver in my house too. My golden retriever Maze loves to chase squirrels, and once he’s off, there’s no stopping him! The device has been instrumental in keeping him safe.
However, if someone finds the Garmin a little out of their price range, I’d recommend they check out the Whistle GO Explore. It’s more affordable and offers similar features, such as real-time tracking and health monitoring.
For bulky breeds (like my Maze), fitting the tracker on larger collar sizes can be a struggle. Any tips on that challenge? How are you guys handling it with your bulky pups? So far, we’ve been applying a bit of creative strap adjustment – but there’s gotta be a better solution, right?
03/19/2025 at 4:33 PM in reply to: “Getting to the bottom of Minties dog treats- A comprehensive review” #7061Snuggly-Bulldog-9569
ParticipantAbsolutely agree with you both! I’ve been using Minties for my German Shepherd, Max, for about 2 years now. They’re quite durable and perfect for a chewer like him. When it comes to size, they have different options which is great. I usually opt for the large one for Max, keeps him busy for longer. As far as price goes, I think they’re reasonable for the quality that we’re getting. For any owners wondering about how to introduce these treats, I’d recommend starting with smaller sizes and gradually moving up – just helps your dog get used to it better. Just remember, although minties are good for dental health, it’s no substitute for regular brushing or vet checks.
03/13/2025 at 1:20 AM in reply to: “Hollywood Stars Dog Treats Review: My Experience in a Nutshell” #7020Snuggly-Bulldog-9569
ParticipantI totally feel you there, folks! Having a couple of Shih Tzus in the house, I too used to think that the Hollywood Stars dog treats were quite large. And then I realized, these treats are actually great for a bit of fun training exercises! I started using it as a ‘find-the-treat’ game and my fur boys absolutely adored the hunt. They certainly are a tad pricier than some other options but given their size and optimal ingredient list, and the joy they bring to my boys, I’d say they’re worth every penny. Plus, they stay fresh for long so a bag goes a long way! Anyone else incorporate these treats into fun games?

ParticipantIt’s great that so many of your pooches are enjoying Hollywood Stars! They just didn’t do the trick for my Border Collie, Bonnie. I found them to be a little on the small size, and she’d gulp them down without really savoring or getting much engagement out of them. For dogs like Bonnie with a big appetite who need a bit more stimulation, I’ve had success with Kong toys filled with low-sodium peanut butter. Anyone else have similar experiences? A good chewable distraction can turn treat time into fun lasting activity; it’s worth exploring!
Snuggly-Bulldog-9569
ParticipantWhile Smokehouse treats seem to be popular, I’ve actually had a different experience with them – my golden retriever simply didn’t take to ’em at all. The size was a little too big for her liking and she didn’t seem keen on the texture either. Instead, we switched over to Blue Buffalo Wilderness Trail Treats. These are softer, smaller sized treats made from real meat that my retriever absolutely adores. It may just be my dog’s personal preference though. Anyone else found that their pooch didn’t love smokehouse treats quite as much?
02/22/2025 at 7:36 AM in reply to: “Discovering the Taste and Nutrition of Wholehearted Dog Treats: My Experience and Review” #6939Snuggly-Bulldog-9569
ParticipantWow, I’m also a big fan of Wholehearted dog treats! Got my Corgi, Ginger, hooked on them since she was a pup. I find the size perfect for her mouth and being grain-free is a bonus. Also, anyone noticed how long-lasting the treats are compared to other similar-sized products? They’re great for keeping Ginger preoccupied when guests drop by unexpectedly.
One thing that occasionally bugs me though, is the inconsistent availability in some stores – sometimes they’re out of stock. Does anyone else experience this too? Were you able to find a workaround or an alternative treat with similar quality and price range?
Can’t deny that despite this minor hitch, Wholehearted treats remain our go-to choice for positive reinforcement during training sessions and as a tasty distraction when necessary! As always though, it’s key to remember that treats should only make up a small part of our pups’ diet. Any drastic changes in eating habits should warrant a check-up with your vet for good measure.
Keep your furry friends healthy and happy guys! 🐶💕
02/19/2025 at 6:38 PM in reply to: “Spoiling My Four-Legged Papillon: A DreamBone Dog Treats Review” #6989Snuggly-Bulldog-9569
ParticipantCouldn’t agree more with you on your review! I’ve been using DreamBone treats for my golden retriever, Buddy, for about a year now. We both love them – it’s the highlight of his afternoon when training time rolls around, and he can barely contain his excitement when I pull out the bag.
They’re a perfect size for him, not too big or small, and they seem to be quite robust in terms of lasting him a good chew session. My pup also hasn’t ever had an issue with them being hard to digest unlike some other treats.
At an affordable price point considering their quality, I’m happy to keep spoiling Buddy with these treats. My only piece of advice to new users would be: supervise your dog’s first few sessions. You know, just until you ensure that your dog has no trouble with eating them. And if there happen to be any concerns, it’s always worth consulting a vet.
Anyone else tried mixing in any of these DreamBone flavors into their training routine? Buddy seems absolutely stuck on the peanut butter ones right now!
Snuggly-Bulldog-9569
ParticipantHaha, the ‘boulders of the dog snacks world’ sums it up perfectly! My Corgi, Baxter, had a tough time with the size too. I ended up breaking them into smaller bits annd using them as high rewards during training sessions. His little proud trot after he mastered a new trick was worth the effort! They may not be ideal for small, casual treats but work great when you want something more substantial to reward your pup with. Remember to always monitor your dog while they’re munching on these large chunks though!
