ParticipantOh boy, Buddy Biscuits! Don’t get me started. Tried them with my Dachshund, Rufus – king of picky eaters, and he gobbled them right up. For training though, not the best choice due to their size. However, you could break ’em into smaller pieces… although watch your fingers if your fur buddy is as eager as Rufus! Price-wise, totally worth it for the joy on his little face. Anyone use these with super small breeds? assertThat might be a fun mini-adventure…or a mess!

ParticipantI’ve found that not only does my Bella love Stewart treats, but they’re just the right size for her too. She’s a smaller breed so it’s been a challenge finding treats that aren’t too large or hard for her to handle. However, with Stewart’s, I had no such worries. Plus, they last a pretty good while – durability is definitely one of the top characteristics. As for pricing, I’d say they’re fairly reasonable given the quality annd the fact that Bella can’t get enough of them! Would highly recommend for anyone struggling with picky eaters or smaller pups with specific dietary needs!
Side note: I do sometimes change things up and go for Blue Buffalo’s training treats – another favorite of Bella’s, and great alternative if you want to switch things around occasionally.

ParticipantAlright, I’m here to offer an alternative view on the Happy Dog Dry Food situation. I personally switched my Labrador, Bella, to Orijen Original Dry Dog Food about 2 years ago and have been thrilled with the results.
With Happy Dog, Bella was eating alright, but her coat looked kinda dull and she wasn’t as active for a young Lab. Once we started with Orijen, her coat got shinier and was full of energy – noticeable difference! Plus she gobbles up every meal like there’s no tomorrow, so taste wise it’s pretty spot on.
On top of that, Orijen foods are a tad pricy than Happy Dog but they’re rich in proteins and grain-free which make them great quality for the price, I believe. Sure, it’s a little more coin out of pocket initially but in the long run seems like a good investment for Bella’s overall wellbeing.
I know everyone’s expereince can be different, but I thought I’d bring up an alternative that worked wonders for my pup. Anyone else tried Orijen or other brands after switching from Happy Dog?

ParticipantHaha, good to see my gal Ruby ain’t the only diva turning up her snout at Alpo Prime Cuts! She can clearly pass as a food critic eying a questionable plate with those piercing puppy eyes. Anyway, here’s something we tried: I’ve switched to Nature’s Recipe Grain Free dog food. She loves it; devours every morsel and looks excited at meal times. It’s a bit pricer, but considering my vet bills on account of food-related issues reduced significantly, I’d say it’s worth it. Ever thought of trying a different brand?
