MemberAnd I totally agree with the previous post…consistency is 100% key! Just a little hiccup in their routine and, bam, you got yourself an upset pupper – not fun for anyone involved. 🙈
Anyone else have experiences with keeping or, uh, failing to keep consistent mealtimes? Do ultrasounds stable schedules help with other areas of your pooch’s life too? It’d be interesting to hear your thoughts on this.

Memberguys, I guess I’m in at the deep end here. Bought a FunnyFuzzy dog bed for my new Shih Tzu pup a few weeks back. Although it looks uber comfy and all, my pup just didn’t seem to take to it. Maybe it felt too plush for her? It’s strange, she prefers sleeping on the cold kitchen floor 😂 Anybody else has had this experience?
Just something to consider before you buy… maybe your dog like some good old hard floor like mine! It’s always a good idea to figure out your dogs’ preference before making such purchases. Got any other dog bed recommendations that aren’t overly soft?

MemberA little advice for the first-timers – definitely invest into a quality bed from the start. It makes such a difference for both pup’s and your peace of mind. Anyone else found some cool dog gear they’d recommend to new owners like me?

MemberJust gotta chime in here about the My Pillow Dog Bed – it’s really been a game changer for my little Rex. I swear he hasn’t enjoyed sleep so much before. It’s like he sinks into it, snuggles up and is out cold in no time flat. He’s an elderly Lab with hip issues so seeing him comfortable and cozy feels like a big win.
Also, the best thing about these beds is that they’re 100% machine wash and dryable which makes life easier- ideal if your pooch is as mud-magnet as mine! The customer service is honestly fantastic too, quick answers with a real human touch.
Did anyone else notice any changes in their dog’s sleeping patterns or mood? Just curious to know if this has been the same experience for everyone else on here!

MemberSince they’re elevated beds, I was wondering if any of you have experienced your dog hesitating to climb onto it? Like, my Archie moves around it somewhat dubiously – could be because he’s not used to the elevation yet? Did any of ypur pups experience this and did they eventually get over their initial fear?
Also, totally agreed on the non-standard bed part. I think it gives them a sense of their exclusive space, right? Plus it’s super easy to clean! Biggest win for me lol.

MemberOn a side note, if you’re looking for something more durable, the “Chewproof” option from K9 Ballistics saved the day for us. It’s really sturdy yet comfy, Dodo approved! Are there any other tough-out there but cozy beds I should consider?

MemberMy advice? If you’re gonna go for the Kevlar option, maybe combine it with some positive reinforcement training to discourage any potential digging behaviours. Just my two cents! How else have you guys managed the digging situation with your pups?

MemberFor those on the fence, just give it a go – it might seem pricy at first, but it really pays off not having to constantly replace shredded beds. Anybody else’s dog takes on their bed like a chew toy or is it just mine?

MemberBut gotta admit though, ever thought about trying out the Big Barker bed? Read some reviews that its orthopedic support can do wonders for hefty dogs or those with joint issues. What ya peeps think about it?
