Well folks, let me jump on the Plato Dog Treats bandwagon here. With four Great Danes in our house, we’ve tried almost every brand under the sun, and let’s just say: Plato equals pure doggie bliss. Not only do they adore the taste, but the larger size is perfect for their giant mouths—it actually takes them some time to chew instead of inhaling them like vacuum cleaners!

My advice to anyone introducing these treats—start with a smaller pack if you’re unsure how your pet will respond. But don’t be surprised if you’ll soon be purchasing them in bulk. Our Marley, a picky eater who has turned her nose up at many “gourmet” treats, practically does backflips when she hears the Plato bag rustling! Only downside I see? It’s not so great for my wallet—high quality isn’t exactly cheap. But seeing the Dane gang happy? Priceless.

Ever wondered if other dogs are as crazy about these as ours? Do share!

jsut wanted to chime in on the Happy Dog Dry Food discussion here. I recently switched my golden retriever, Ginger, to this brand based on the affordable pricing. She didn’t seem too enthusiastic about it at first, but now she eats it up without a problem.

I did notice some changes in her coat, it appears shinier than before. Can’t say for sure if it’s just a natural seasonal change or the new food though. Did anyone else observe similar changes after switching to Happy Dog? For any alarming changes, obviously, we should reach out to our vets – thought this could be an interesting discussion point!

Couldn’t agree more with you all about Plato Dog Treats! My Rhodesian Ridgeback, Captain, is a huge fan too – he acts like it’s Christmas morning when he sees the packet. The size of these treats are perfect for teaching him new tricks and commands, which has been a fun process in our house. For those worried about price, honestly, the joy and utility they bring is well worth it. Anyone else using these for training purposes?
