The way Sheba chunks meat up instead of grinding it down makes them really love it. Plus, their variety pack is a cool choice if your cat likes change in flavors now and then, mine personally savored the chicken best. Key thing to note here: the protein content is relatively high (which cats need for balanced nutrition) and there’s no added artificial flavors.
Downside? Well, it’s slightly pricier compared to other options, but for me watching my little ones genuinely enjoy their meals without turning their noses up is well worth the extra penny spent. Happy feeding!

In terms of ingredients, I’d say it’s middle-of-the-road. Not top shelf, but definitely not bargain basement either. If you’re on a budget or if your cat isn’t super picky, then it’s definitely worth a shot.
Oh yeah, word of caution – once you open a can, that seafood smell is *strong*, especially the tuna flavor! Don’t open one before someone visits unless you want them to leave with ‘eau de fish’! 😂

So, I’ve been using Blue Buffalo for about six months now for my ragdoll, Whiskers. She seems to love the flavor (I go back and forth between the Indoor Health Chicken & Brown Rice and the Weight Control Natural Adult Dry Cat Food).
The first thing I noticed was how her coat shiny and smooth it’s become. Also, she doesn’t throw up as much as she used to on other brands (score for less cleanup duty!).
One drawback though – it is pricier than some other brands. But hey, I’m a sucker for that “no artificial flavors or preservatives” promise and willing to fork out a bit more for Whiskers’ health.
Just remember every cat is different. So, even though Blue Buffalo works great for me and Whiskers, it may not be the best fit for every kitty out there. Happy feeding! 😺
