dog-parents, totally hear the love for the Orvis dog bed. I splurged on one for my senior Lab last year and she did take to it, no question. But after about 8 months, it started getting a bit saggy in the center (might be just my Lab being a total couch potato haha).

Have any of you tried the Big Barker? Got one recently as a second bed for another part of the house and seems really durable + supportive. Has anyone else had experiences with both Orvis and Big barker? Would love to compare notes!

For those on the fence, another great option might be the Big Barker. They’re also built for larger/older dogs and have some killer positive reviews. A good friend of mine swears by theirs. Anyone tried both and has any comparative thoughts? jsut thinking about options for when the time comes to replace…Not anytime soon tho, this Orvis bed isn’t going anywhere fast! 🐾

Has anyone tried their Deep Dish Dog Bed though? Wondering if the bolstered edges would make a difference comfort-wise. And about the Big Barker, heard good things but it seems pricier. Worth the extra bucks?

One word of advice though – do get a color that matches your doggo’s fur, the cover attracts hair like crazy! Anyone else noticed that?

And haha, totally get you on the fur thing – we ended up choosing s chocolate brown that pretty much camouflages his shedding fur. It’s a lifesaver if you’re not keen on daily cover cleanup.

Anyone else find the memory foam holds up really well over time? Ours is still going strong without any sign of sag or tear. Great quality stuff here, guys!
