“Swapped to Open Farm Dry Dog Food: Review and Thoughts”

folks, just wanted to pop in and share my experience after I swapped my 4-year old mutt, Frankie, off his previous chow to Open Farm dry dog food. The quality of ingredients really caught my eye - we're talkin' locally sourced meats, non-GMO fruits and vegetables... a real nice mix. Frankie's also had some mild allergies in the past but he's adjusted to this new food like a dream–no itching or anything! Now look, it's a bit pricier than what we were using before but seeing him gobble down the Chicken & Brown Rice variety with such gusto makes it realy worth every penny. The bag itself is pretty sizable too, making the cost-per-serving pretty reasonable for such high-quality stuff. Anyone else tried this brand? Interested in hearing your thoughts.

I’ve also hopped on the Open Farm Dry Dog Food train myself a few months back for my terrier mix, Pepper. I appreciated the smaller kibble size which seems easier for her to eat compared to some of the other brands we’ve tried before. Plus, she seems keener with digging into her meals these days. Granted, every dog is an individual and what works for Pepper might not necessarily work best for another pup – always important to remember! One thing to consider though is the cost; it’s higher than many other options but given Pepper’s improved eating habits, it’s been worth it in our case. How did you guys transition your pets over to Open Farm? We used a gradual mixing method over the course of a week.
