ParticipantExperience: My Fido absolutely loves these Stewart dog treats! He’s a tough one to please, but from the first bite, he seemed to be utterly smitten. I appreciated that they are made of 100% pure freeze-dried liver – it appeases my penchant for healthier treats. They’re sized perfectly for his medium-sized mouth and he can chew through them smoothly – no worries about choking.
Advice: One little tip is that they do have a strong aroma—akin to real liver. If you have a sensitive nose, be sure not to leave the bag open too long!
Question: Has anyone tried using these as training rewards? I’m starting obedience classes with Fido soon and wondering if they’d make effective motivators.
Agreement: I completely agree with the original poster about the price; they run a bit pricier than some other options on the market. However, seeing how much my pooch enjoys them, I’d say they’re worth every penny!
Alternative: For those looking at more budget-friendly options, Zuke’s Mini Naturals Dog Treats could be a good alternative. They’re smaller in size but work equally well as rewards or simple treats. I’d love to hear anyone’s take on them vs the Stewart treats!

I couldn’t agree more with the high praise Stewart dog treats are getting here. I’ve actually been using these treats for my beagle, Billy, and he yelps with delight each time he sees me reaching for the bag. They’re the perfect size for small to medium breeds like Billy and they hold up impressively, not crumbling apart when I carry them in my pockets during our walks.
One time, I accidentally left a bag out on a table when we went for a walk, and on returning home discovered that Billy had managed to get it down, empty its contents, and diligently devour every single one! To give you an idea of the kind of fussy eater he is – he once spit out a piece of gourmet Wagyu beef but gulped down these Stewart treats without hesitation.
As for price point, I think it’s reasonable considering their quality and how much my dog loves them. For anyone considering trying them out – go ahead! You won’t regret it. But always remember to properly store your treats out of paw’s reach to avoid any impromptu snack feasts when you’re not looking! Can anyone else relate?

ParticipantStewart Dog Treats, A Quality Snack My Pup Can’t Resist
Oh, absolutely! Are Stewart dog treats top-tier, or what? I initially ordered them thinking they might just be another one of those over-hyped products. But boy was I wrong! Our 5-year-old Golden Retriever, Muffin, instantly fell in love with them.
They’re perfect when it comes to size and are just hard enough for her to enjoy a bit of a chew but not too tough to where I worry about her teeth. Plus, the price for the amount you get isn’t bad either; definitely decent value for money.
Did anyone else find their dog having a new favorite “flavour”? Muffin is quite partial to the Beef Liver Bites and hardly even glances at her old snack favourites ever since we introduced these. Just wondering if other pooches developed a similar liking for these treats as well.

ParticipantI’ve found that not only does my Bella love Stewart treats, but they’re just the right size for her too. She’s a smaller breed so it’s been a challenge finding treats that aren’t too large or hard for her to handle. However, with Stewart’s, I had no such worries. Plus, they last a pretty good while – durability is definitely one of the top characteristics. As for pricing, I’d say they’re fairly reasonable given the quality annd the fact that Bella can’t get enough of them! Would highly recommend for anyone struggling with picky eaters or smaller pups with specific dietary needs!
Side note: I do sometimes change things up and go for Blue Buffalo’s training treats – another favorite of Bella’s, and great alternative if you want to switch things around occasionally.

ParticipantAgreed. Stewart dog treats are a hit at our house too! My Bruno is a medium-sized fella and these treats are the perfect size for him, not too big, not too small. And it’s apparent that the company uses quality ingredients; he gobbles them up faster than any others we’ve tried. A bit on the pricey side but I’d say they’re absolutely worth it for the joy they bring to my pup. Does anyone have tips on where to find the best deals on them?
For anyone wondering if these might be a good fit for their pooch, I highly recommend giving it a shot. Just remember to introduce any new food items slowly into your dog’s diet and observe for changes – and of course, always consult a professional if your pet seems unwell following dietary changes.

ParticipantCouldn’t agree more about Stewart dog treats. I’ve been using them as a training treat for my energetic Cocker Spaniel, Rufus, for some time now. They’re the perfect size for him and more importantly, they keep him focused during our sessions! Not to mention these are real meat treats, no confusing ingredients list to navigate through.
Besides being essential during training, they serve as a special little reward when Rufus behaves well on our visits to the dog park. Let me tell you, Rufus is one picky eater but he never turns down a Stewart treat!
Tip: They also work well when you’re introducing your pup to new experiences – having their favorite treat on hand can turn a potentially scary situation into a positive one. Always handy to have in your pocket!
Has anyone else used these treats in different settings? mabye during grooming sessions or car rides? Curious to know your experiences!

ParticipantThe Stewart dog treats have really been a game changer in my household too. My energetic Collie, Skipper, has taken quite the liking to them ever since I first brought them home. I’ve found that they are fantastic not only for training due to their size and bite-ability, but also as a simple treat when Skipper’s been a good boy. They’re durable enough to keep him busy for a bit, but not so hard that he might hurt his teeth – perfect balance! For those with a stricter budget, it’s worth mentioning that while the price point is slightly high, the quantity and quality of these treats really do justify the cost. Does anyone else feel like their bag of Stewarts lasts longer than other brands?

ParticipantI absolutely concur with your positive feedback on Stewart dog treats as well. I have a large Akita named Rocky, and they’ve worked wonders for me during our obedience training sessions. One thing I really appreciate about these treats is their size – not too small for my big guy, but easy enough for him to quick gobble down post-trick; absolutely perfect during those times when rapid-repeat rewards are crucial. They also don’t leave a greasy residue, which is a plus. When it comes to price though, they’re a bit on the costly side compared to some other high-quality treat options in the market, but thankfully Rocky seems to think it’s worth every penny! Has anyone had experiences using this brand for any of their puzzle toys?

ParticipantCouldn’t resist jumping in on the Stewart dog treats bandwagon! I have a picky eater, my golden retriever Max, who usually turns up his nose at most commercial treat offerings. However, the moment he got a whiff of these Stewart freeze-dried liver treats, he was hooked. He does tend to take larger chonks than necessary so I’ve taken to breaking them into smaller pieces even though they are already bite-sized; this seems to also extend the longevity of the treat bag. For anyone wondering if it’s worth the price tag, in this case I definetly say – yes! Be sure to consult with a vet if you’re unsure about dietary changes though. Does anyone know if Stewart is planning to introduce any new flavors soon? Could be fun to see Max’s reaction.

ParticipantTotally agree with what everyone’s saying about the Stewart dog treats! We recently introduced them to our stubborn Beagle, Archie and, well, he’s finally got some motivation during our training sessions. The handy size of the treats are great for teaching portion control too. As an added bonus, these don’t have that typical off-putting dog treat smell which makes it easier for us humans to handle as well! For those considering these, my advice would be to start with a small pack and see how your pup takes to it – every dog’s preferences are unique after all.

ParticipantAbsolutely joining the chorus of Stewart dog treats fans here! I have a feisty little Jack Russel, notorious for turning his nose up at most treats, but he absolutely adores these stewarts. The bite-sized pieces are perfect for someone like him whose small size doesn’t deter his huge personality. Plus the resealable bag? Genius in my book; keeps ’em fresh and tasty. No more dealing with stale treats here! So yup, big thumbs up from this corner for Stewart dog treats!. Has anyone else noticed their dog showing more enthusiasm during training sessions when these treats are involved?

ParticipantAbsolutely have to echo the praises for Stewart dog treats! When I first came across these, I was a bit skeptical because of my Dalmatian’s notorious pickiness. He’s turned his nose up at more fancy treats than I can count! But with the Stewarts, it was love at first bite.
They’re the perfect size for training rewards and their consistency allows for easy breaking into smaller pieces if necessary. Plus they seem to hold up pretty well even when carried around in a pocket on long walks. I also appreciate that they aren’t overly fragrant like some other treats out there.
And anyone else marveling at the value for the price? High-quality ingredients without breaking the bank is something every dog owner can get behind! How are your pups responding to other flavours in their line-up? Thinking of branching out from the original recipe with my Finn next time.

ParticipantWhile it’s clear that there’s lots of love for the Stewart dog treats in this corner of the dog-owner world, I feel like I need to bring attention to another great option. In my experience of 14 years with pups, I’ve come across Cloud Star Crunchy Tricky Trainers. They come in a similarly bite-sized form which is perfect for small dogs or training rewards, plus they’re nicely priced too.
My labrador, Buddy, was initially super into Stewarts but eventually seemed less enthusiastic. When we swapped to Cloud Start Tricky Trainers, his interest spiked again! Maybe it was the change itself or perhaps he prefers their flavor. Either way, variety seems key in keeping Buddy engaged.
However, remember that all dogs are different – what works for Buddy might not work for every pup. It’s always worthwhile trying out a few different treats until you find your fur baby’s favourite.

ParticipantGlad to see so many others on the Stewart’s treats train! My Golden Retriever, Bailey, absolutely goes gaga for them. We’ve found they’re fantastic for training – thier small size makes them ideal rewards and they don’t crumble everywhere like other brands do. Plus, Bailey particularly loves the liver flavor! Just a word of caution though, remember that even though our fur friends might beg for more, these are treats and should not replace their regular meals or balanced diet. Has anyone tried using these as part of a game with their dog? Seems like they could be fun for hide and seek based activities too!
