guys, just wanna chime in on the Harry Barker Dog bed convo. My golden retriever, Charlie, has been using it for about a year now and I must say, he’s a fan – and so am I! The bed’s eco-friendly fill gets two thumbs up from me and Charlie seems to love the comfort of it too. Plus, they’re super stylish (yes, that matters to us dog owners too!). Just one thing to consider if you’re thinkinga bout getting one – they do run a bit on the large size. But hey, more room for Charlie to roll over, right? 🐾🙂
To anyone who’s considering it, I’d definitely say it’s worth the investment. The comfort level is top notch, my Bella won’t sleep anywhere else now haha. Anyone else got funny stories about their pups getting too attached to thier beds?
However, keep in mind not all dogs adapt quickly to new beds. Zeus took a week of sniffing and circling before he finally adopted it as his own, so don’t panic if your pooch doesn’t plunge right in on day one! A tip from experience – leave some of their old bedding or favourite toys nearby until they’ve adjusted.
Anyone else had a similar experience? Or is my big guy just a little too particular?
Only thing I can advise is – give these beds a real good squish before your pup tries it out. jsut floof up the cushioning to keep it from bunching. Seriously folks, don’t underestimate the power of a good bed floofing!
Out of curiosity, anyone try the Orvis dog beds? Was considering that one as an alternative before landing on Harry Barker…
Your advice about giving the bed a squish before introducing it to your pup—spot on! I wish I had known that earlier haha, would’ve saved me some perplexed doggy stares. Also, can we just talk about how easy these beds are to clean? A quick spin in the washer and they’re good as new! It’s a complete lifesaver for shed-happy dogs.
Has anyone else noticed their Harry Barker bed lasting particularly long? I’ve had mine for already two years and aside frm some minor wear and tare, looks pretty darn sturdy still.
