ParticipantI absolutely adore the Fi Series 3 Dog Collar for my Rottweiler, Rocky! For his size and strength, it’s held up amazingly and it’s super durable. Now I get peace of the mind with the long battery life and I’ve literally seen no wear or tear on the collar material even after 8 months of daily use. However, a friendly heads-up here – they do run slightly large in size, so keep that in mind when sizing.
On a related note, if budget is a concern, Tractive GPS Pet Tracker is also a pretty solid option. It offers most of the key features at a slightly lower price-point. Of course, it all boils down to what you’re looking for and how much you’re willing to invest in your doggo’s safety gear.
On another note, has anyone tried integrating Fi with their smart home devices? I’m considering trying this out but would love some input first.

ParticipantI totally agree, the Fi Series 3 Dog Collar has been an absolute godsend for my feisty Boxer, Max! The adjustable sizing is perfect to fit his robust neck ans sturdy enough to withstand his spirited playtimes. We even tested it out during a rainy walk and have found the waterproof material holds up really well. The GPS tracking feature was truly what sold me on this one, it gives such peace of mind knowing exactly where Max is at all times. Yes, it’s a bit higher on the price spectrum but for the superior quality and these amazing features, I feel it’s worth every penny! Has anyone else tried using the activity tracking feature? I find it a fun way to ensure Max gets enough exercise daily but would love to hear others’ experience with it too!

ParticipantTotally agree with ya folks! Our mastiff, Bruiser, has the Fi Series 3 collar and boy can this thing endure. I’ve seen him charge through thickets without it so much as snagging–super durable! As for price, definitely more upfront but quality-wise it’s a long-term investment that saves you replacing cheaper collars every other month. Oh, and tip – after a muddy romp, just wipe it down with a wet cloth and all cleaned up in no time. Anyone else found need to adjust settings once they’ve set up the app?

ParticipantAbsolutely, the Fi Series 3 collar is a real gem! Got one for my energetic Border Collie, Dash, and it’s lasted through all his outdoor adventures. He loves to explore and sometimes gets a tad bit too adventurous. What really amazed me was how durable it is considering Dash’s rough-n-tumble play – still looks great and functions perfectly. The tracking feature brings an incredible peace of mind knowing I can always find him if he strays a bit too far. The price point might seem high initially, but considering its longevity and features, it totally worths every penny!

ParticipantAbsolutely, the Fi Series 3 Dog Collar is invaluable for us dog-owners. I adopted a rescue pup, Poppy, about a year ago and she’s always looking for a chance to dart off into the wild blue yonder. This collar, with its sturdy material and reliable tracking features, has actually enabled me to let her indulge her adventurous spirit without worrying about losing her.
What impressed me most about this collar are its durability and GPS component. We hike regularly in rugged terrain and also live in an area with unpredictable weather conditions. The collar has withstood all of it without missing a beat – that’s one sturdy piece of kit!
As for price, I admit it’s on the higher end, but in my view you’re paying for peace of mind, and you can’t put a price tag on that. Besides, I’ve spent more on replacing cheaper collars in the past!
Do any of you use its step-tracking feature? I tried setting daily step goals for Poppy to keep her active – it’s been an interesting addition to her routine!

ParticipantOh, 100% agree with the positive reviews here about the Fi Series 3 collar – it’s quite the game changer for owners of furry escape artists or those li’le active furballs. We’ve been using it on our overly adventurous beagle, Snoopy, for a solid six months now, and it hasn’t let us down once.
In terms of size, it’s not bulky at all which was a concern initially given our beagle’s petite physique. Material-wise, I am totally impressed too – super durable despite Snoopy’s knack for getting into scruffs while out and about.
One thing though that I feel isn’t highlighted enough is the battery life on this little marvel! Breaks my previous records of constantly recharging every other GPS tracker we’d used before.
Considering the added peace of mind that comes along with knowing where your adorable caninie is at any moment, the price seems fair in my book. Has anyone else noticed a drastic improvement in battery life with the Series 3 compared to earlier versions?

ParticipantOh, couldn’t agree more about the Fi Series 3 collar. My Siberian Husky, Roxy, has been sporting the ownderful tracking device for months now. I really appreciate the size adjustments it offers – fits like a charm around her neck without causing any discomfort. The material is pretty sturdy and survived Roxy’s escapades without as much as a scratch! As for the price, it sure is an invetsment but believe me, the peace of mind it brings knowing where my sprinter pup runs off to in the wilderness is worth every penny. For those still on the fence, I suggest consider it as a long-term saving from potential search parties or microchipping costs. Are there any others who found any tricks for extending its battery life though?

ParticipantListen to this, my little escapologist terrier, Daisy would be out having an adventure of her own if not for the Fi Series 3 collar. You betcha, I was skeptical at first too – the price tag had me a bit mum about it. But let me tell you, durability is jsut top-notch and it fits perfect even for my small yet feisty gal. Considering how much it’s helped in keeping her safe, who’s complaining? Plus, it’s easy to clean (Daisy does love her mud puddles)! So here’s a word from the wise – don’t skimp on your dog’s safety.

ParticipantTotally understand all the love for the Fi Series 3 collar here – I’ve got one for my Boxer, Max, and boy is he a runner! The durability alone has me sold given how rough Max can be. For those of you with bigger dogs like mine, did you find it true to size or did you have to size up? One thing I would advice is to give your pup a few days to adjust to the slight additional weight. Max took a couple of day to get fully comfortable with his fancy new collar. Overall though, considering the price point, it’s been worth every penny in my book.

ParticipantAbsolutely, this Fi Series 3 collar is a game-changer. I’ve got one for my retriever, Bella, and couldn’t be happier with it. Few weeks ago she decided to run after the neighbourhood squirrels and was off like a shot! Thankfully, the GPS was spot on and provided real-time tracking which led me straight to her. The collar might seem a bit pricy initially but considering its durability even after intense usage; I must say it’s an investment. I just wish it came in smaller sizes too for our little furry friends at home! Anybody know if they’re planning on bringing out smaller sizes any time soon?

ParticipantAn Honest Take on the Fi Series 3 Collar
Just wanted to chime in, my bouncy Lab, Buster is quite a fan of the Fi Series 3 collar. I was initially hesitant because of the price tag. But having used it for six months now, I can say it’s tuly worth every penny! His size Large fits perfectly; not too tight or too loose and the material shines through when it comes to durability (Buster is an expert at destroying things). Honestly, I can’t even count how many times its real-time GPS tracking has saved us some minor heart attacks when he decides to play Houdini in our local park! As they say in their marketing spiel – peace of mind indeed.
However, just as a tip, if your dog isn’t accustomed to wearing collars regularly like Buster, take it slow and introduce the Fi collar gradually using positive reinforcement. That way they can become comfortable with it more easily.Has anyone else had experiences of introducing the Fi Series 3 collar to dogs not used to wearing one? I would love to hear about your techniques.

ParticipantJust chiming in with another perspective – I gave the Fi Series 3 a shot for my Hound mix, Whiskers, and to my surprise, it’s been a pretty solid investment! Sure, she can still outsnuffle anything with her keen nose despite having this collar on. The standout part for me is the durability. Whiskers is really rough when we’re out trekking, and she had broken several collars before. But this one…kudos Fi Series 3. And don’t let me start on the material! It’s lightweight and seems comfortable for Whiskers – no more chaffing issues. Yes, it’s a bit pricey up front, but when you calculate the cost of replacing cheaper collars, it paid off in our case. However, if there’s someone looking for an equally sturdy yet economical alternative, I’d recommend checking out the Link AKC smart collar. Compare the features and pick one that suits your four-legged freind best!

ParticipantOh boy, have I got a tale for you all. Picked up the Fi Series 3 Collar for my rambunctious Golden, Fido. Size and fitting was perfectly straightforward, well except for Fido’s non-stop tail wagging excitement. Funny enough, he seemed chuffed with his new “bling-bling.”
Material-wise, it’s pretty solid but still lightweight which is a plus in my book. Been using it for a few months now and hasn’t scratched or lost any gloss, even when ol’ Fido decides playing fetch involves more rolling than fetching.
Now durability and price – definitely worth the investment. Fido has tested its ruggedness several times, including an unplanned spring into the lake (he spotted a duck) and yet this collar pulled through like a champ. Gotta say though, if your not ready to part with a bit of your wallet, then you might want to look at cheaper options.
Lastly this new fitness tracking feature — man oh man! You ain’t seen anything until you’ve seen graphs charting pupper walks down to the minute! It’s all fun and games till you realize your dog takes more steps in a day than you do!
Cheerios,
Dale & FidoP.S – If anyone out there knows how to clean this thing without messing up the tracker – let me know.

ParticipantI’ve had a different experience with the Fi Series 3 collar – got one for my spirited Jack Russel, Pocket. As for sizing, it’s been a perfect fit which is a darn relief becuase he’s a squirmy little thing. The material and durability are top-notch as well. It certainly isn’t cheap, but in this roundup of smart collars, I reckon you get what you pay for; so far it’s living up to the cost. An overall good investment if you ask me. On an unrelated note, anyone else find their pup obsessed with sniffing around every single tree they cross? Pocket’s practically writing his autobiography via the bark network!

ParticipantJust wanted to add my two cents about the Fi Series 3 collar. I’ve got a fully grown German Shephard, Bruce, and he’s quite the powerhouse! As big dog owners can relate, finding accessories that withstand daily wear and tear can be hit or miss. When I bought the Fi Series 3 for him about 6 months ago, it’s been nothing short of great.
The fit? Snug and comfortable with room for adjustments as needed. Material is tough yet noticeably light enough to not disrupt his movements (plus, weather-resistance is a major plus!). Standout feature, though, has got to be the durability. Even after all our hikes, runs and general roughhousing, the collar shows minimal signs of distress.
Price-wise, it’s certainly more on the high-end. But in this case, you’re really paying for a long-lasting product coupled with advanced technology (finally had a moment of peace when Bruce decided to chase after squirrels one day and we lost sight of him in the park). Thanks to the collar’s GPS tracking feature, found him snacking happily on some acorns over by the north end.
However, it is worth noting that the battery life could be better. It says up to 3 months on one charge if you’re consistently connected to WiFi but probably due to many outdoor excursions ours seems to last closer to a month – still decent but something potential buyers should keep in mind.
Anyone else have much experience regarding battery life? Would love to know if there are any tips to extending it.
