I definitely have to agree with the Milk-Bone love going around! I have two extra-large Great Danes and they think these treats are jsut the bee’s knees. Considering their size, I was initially concerned about the treat size being a little small, but turns out they could care less about that. With their durability and affordability, it’s become a staple for us.

However, as we all know, dogs can have sensitive stomachs – my Duke once had an upset tummy after indulging in too many at once. So now, it’s important to moderate their Milk-Bone consumption. But overall, these treats offer great value and get a big paws up from us!

I wonder if anyone has tried the different flavors? Our dogs seem most partial to the beef flavor but I’m curious what other pups prefer.

It’s great to hear that most folks are having an excellent experience with Milk-Bone. However, personally speaking and coming from a perspective of a dog owner with nine years under the belt, these treats didn’t exactly live up to my expectation. I have a medium-sized yellow lab named Barley, who is honestly not picky at all about his treats, but when it came to the Milk-Bones, he simply ignored them! Tough to say whether he didn’t prefer the taste or texture; it’s still a mystery. I’m sure they’re fine for many dogs out there, but in Barley’s case, I’ve since switched to using Zuke’s Mini Naturals Dog Treats which he absolutely loves.

By the way, this isn’t meant to knock Milk-Bones; every dog has their unique preferences. And as always if you notice any sudden change in your dog’s eating habits or have concerns, it’s best totake them to the vet. Has anyone else had experiences where their dogs didn’t take a liking to certain popular treats?

Definitely on the Milk-Bone train here! My Golden Retriever, Daisy, simply adores them. I’ve found them to be perfect for training rewards and just random treats. They’re hard enough to give her a bit of a challenge but not so hard that she loses interest. Plus, you can’t beat the price — high-quality yet affordable! And lastly, the fact that they’re fortified with 12 vitamins and minerals gives me peace of mind regarding her nutrition. Just seeing her tail whirring like a helicopter every time I reach for the box of Milk-Bones is a joy in itself! Of course, every dog is different and if you have specific dietary concerns for your pup, a chat with your vet would be best.

Absolutely on board with the positive Milk-Bone reviews here! I have a 3-year-old Springer Spaniel, Max, who’s a fussy eater, but he turns into an obedient angel whenever I bring out a box of the Milk-Bone treats. Not only are they cost-effective, but their size variety is just great for all types of dogs. Just one small caveat though – I would advise against leaving the treat box within paw’s reach. Poor Max once got his head stuck trying to dig out more treats from the box.

Quick question to add here: Has anyone noticed any change in their dog’s teeth condition after regular use of these treats? Not implying anything negative, it’s just something I’m curious about. No major health concerns spotted in Max so far (touch wood!), but as always, would suggest checking with your vet for dental advice too!
