I’ve actually been using Hollywood Stars dog treats for a few months now with my Pomeranian, Lulu. The texture of these treats is quite firm and they’re pretty sizeable in comparison to some other brands out there. This has been excellent for Lulu’s dental hygiene as it encourages her to chew more before swallowing. They’re cost-effective too!

One slight issue we did encounter, though, was the sizing. If you’ve got a smaller breed like ours, I’d recommend breaking them in half just so that your pup doesn’t get overwhelmed. Besides that, they’ve been great and Lulu hasn’t had any adverse reactions to them.

As always though, if your dog experiences any unusual symptoms after consuming a new product, it’s best to consult a vet! My question is: have any other small breed owners experienced this issue with the size of the treats? Or was it just us?

Unlucky for me, my bulldog Doris has always been a picky eater. I decided to give these Hollywood Stars dog treats a go, and she actually loved them! A bit on the pricey side I must say, but seeing her satisfied munching away – well, who can put a price on a happy pooch? An added bonus – they’re small enough for her to eat without any struggle. Do make sure your dog isn’t allergic to any of the ingredients though, that’s one tip I’ve learned the hard way. But overall, no regret here!

Totally agree with you on Hollywood Stars dog treats! I’ve been using them for my golden retriever, Baxter, and he’s been loving it. The size of the treats is just right for him, and they’re seriously durable, which is nice because Baxter tends to be rough with his treats. As a bonus, considering the quality, they are surprisingly affordable which is a definite plus. Maybe try introducing Doris to them gradually? Sometimes it can help with picky eaters. Just curious if anyone else has any success stories with these treats and picky eaters? I’d love to hear more about your experiences!

It’s great that so many of your pooches are enjoying Hollywood Stars! They just didn’t do the trick for my Border Collie, Bonnie. I found them to be a little on the small size, and she’d gulp them down without really savoring or getting much engagement out of them. For dogs like Bonnie with a big appetite who need a bit more stimulation, I’ve had success with Kong toys filled with low-sodium peanut butter. Anyone else have similar experiences? A good chewable distraction can turn treat time into fun lasting activity; it’s worth exploring!

Just to throw in my two cents here – I’ve got a Shiba Inu who’s also quite the fussy eater. Tried the Hollywood Stars treats and he turned his nose up at them. Which was surprising considering the rave reviews from other owners! What worked for us was Zesty Paws Calming Bites. They’re exceedingly tasty to him and helps with his anxiety too. If you’ve got a finicky four-legger, it might be worth giving Zesty Paws a go?

For sure, count me in as another fan of Hollywood Stars dog treats! I’ve been giving them to my pug for about a year now. They’re perfectly sized for his small mouth and he seems to really enjoy the taste. When training him to stay off the couch, these treats played a crucial role due their irresistible flavor (for him, of course!). Their durability is also impressive; the bag doesn’t compromise the quality of the product over time – still as fresh as on day one. To those considering it, definitely give it a go! I’d love to hear others’ experience with introducing these treats during training sessions. Are they effective universally or does it vary from breed to breed?

all! I’ve tried the Hollywood Stars with my Border Collie, Max, and he seemed to enjoy them, but I found them to be a bit pricey for the amount you get. For anyone on a budget, I’d recommend giving Zuke’s Mini Naturals a shot. They’re great for training, come in a variety of flavors, and are quite affordable while still maintaining quality. Sure they aren’t as extravagant as the Hollywood Stars, but my boy Max gobbles them up just the same! Anyone else tried Zuke’s? What are your experiences?

fellow dog owners! Another fan of Hollywood Stars dog treats here, and I’ve been using these products for several years with my Labrador, Bella. In terms of size, they are perfect for medium-to-large breeds like her – just the right fit. Plus, the price point doesn’t hurt the wallet too much, which is always a bonus.

A small piece of advice for newbies: It’s best to introduce these treats gradually into your dog’s diet, as you would with any new food item. Bella loved them from the get-go, but other dogs may need time to adjust.

Now I wonder if anyone’s tried using these treats for training purposes? My Bella’s already well-trained (19 years of dog experience pays off!), but I’m curious if they make good rewards in training for younger pups.

folks, just tossing in my two cents as a long-time user of Hollywood Stars dog treats, specifically with my Golden Retriever, Sunny. She’s quite the fan, but I’ve also noticed the size seems perfect for her larger breed. Does anyone else find the treat size to be a good fit for their bigger dogs? Just curious if it’s a universal thing or just my Sunny loving ’em regardless!

On the topic of price, they might be on the pricier side but judging by Sunny’s reaction and their durability, I say they’re definitely worth every penny! Anyone else feel that quality over quantity is what’s important when it comes to our furry friends’ treats?

So, me and my old Beagle, Sherlock, have shared quite a few of these Hollywood Stars dog treats in our time. You see, he’s got quite a sense of grandeur, always did. When it comes to the size and flavour of these treats, I reckon they’re just about right for his regal palate – big enough to be satisfying but not so much that he’d need a nap afterward. In terms of durability, they’ve got the best of both worlds – firm enough for a little chewy fun but soft enough not to put any strain on Sherlock’s senior citizen choppers. Price wise, they aren’t exactly the cheapest on the shelf but hey, who can put a price on keeping their pooch happy?

One little piece of advice though – if your four-legged friend has got that Beagle nose (or anything like it), better be prepared to find hiding spots for these goodies. Sherlock found mine and let’s just say…the Hollywood fashion-forward figure didn’t last long! But remember folks, if your fellow suddenly develops an off eating habit or shows signs of discomfort after trying new foods, it’s always best to consult with your vet. No treat is worth risking their health over.

Anyone else has ever had their stash raided by their snoopy doggo? Would love some pointers on better hiding spots!

folks, anyone else think that Hollywood Stars dog treats are massively oversized? I’ve got a Yorkshire terrier, and he can not finish these in one go—ends up leaving them half-eaten around the house. These treats may be suited for bigger dogs but for us with smaller breeds, cutting them up into smaller pieces might help to avoid waste. As for durability, the package sealed pretty tight and lasted about a month in my pantry, which was great. Just wish they were a bit more economical; they do cost quite a penny!

On a lighter note, Max my Yorkie loves their flavor and has developed quite an obsession. He once managed to sneak a packet from the shopping bag and I found the remnants hidden behind the couch cushions later! Does anyone else’s dog do this when they really love a treat?

I totally feel you there, folks! Having a couple of Shih Tzus in the house, I too used to think that the Hollywood Stars dog treats were quite large. And then I realized, these treats are actually great for a bit of fun training exercises! I started using it as a ‘find-the-treat’ game and my fur boys absolutely adored the hunt. They certainly are a tad pricier than some other options but given their size and optimal ingredient list, and the joy they bring to my boys, I’d say they’re worth every penny. Plus, they stay fresh for long so a bag goes a long way! Anyone else incorporate these treats into fun games?

Well, as a proud dad of two rambunctious Border Terriers with a never-ending appetite, I couldn’t resist trying these Hollywood Stars treats either. Got to admit, they’re massive! You could easily think you’re treating your doggos with a full meal! Once, I gave my boys one each before heading off to pick up the Sunday papers. Returned to them peacefully napping on the couch, belly-up and smiles wider than an Oscar winner’s!

In terms of their price, sure they can be considered pricey but it’s a luxury treat and sometimes our four-legged buddies deserve it too, you know? Definitely wouldn’t suggest these as an everyday reward though. As for the material and durability – well folks, lets just says if chewability was an Olympic sport, these treats would get gold!

As a tip – I prefer breaking em down into smaller bits for training purposes or to make ’em last longer. That might solve fellow Yorkie owner’s issue maybe?

Those with mini breed dogs like Shih Tzus or Yorkies ever tried supplementing their diet with smaller-sized treats? Which ones did you find worked best without being so oversized? Do share!

I’m laughing here. The Hollywood Stars dog treats are kinda monstrous in size, aren’t they? Reminds me of the time my Corgi, Watson, got hold of one and looked as confused as an old man watching TikTok! For smaller breed owners, I’d just recommend breaking them up into more reasonable bits. Might take an extra minute, but hey, at least you won’t have to console a baffled pup trying to navigate through these Godzilla-like treats! Anyone else broken ’em down or you’ve refocused on other brands that cater better to smaller pups?

Absolutely agree on the point about the size of Hollywood Stars dog treats – not really suitable for our small fur buddies, huh? I’ve got a tiny Chihuahua and those treats seemed almost as big as him – haha! I’ve switched to Nibbles & Bits Mini Treats now. They’re perfect in size for smaller dogs and don’t compromise on taste or nutrition – at least that’s what my happy yappy buddy tells me every time! If you’re looking for more petite options, maybe give them a shot?
