Although I completely get the love for the Ugg bed, anyone else notice it’s a bit on the pricey side? That’s why we rotate Mojo’s bedding between this and the far cheaper Furhaven Pet Dog Bed which he equally loves. It’s got orthopedic foam for extra support if your fur friend like mine has joint issues.

Just something to consider 😊 Also, any tips on cleaning the Ugg bed? The removable cover isn’t quite as “easy wash” as promosed.

I actually got mine in a sale and maybe that’s they way to go? Wait for those holiday or end-of-season sales and snag one then. Or there’s always other brands offering similar style nd comfort for lower prices. Anyone tried the Best Friends by Sheri dog beds? Their donut cuddler looks almost identical to Ugg bed but way cheaper! Worth a shot, maybe?

So, completely agree on the Ugg dog bed’s price point. It did make me gulp a bit at first glance, won’t deny! But then I ended up getting one for my frenchie, Nugget – and damn if it hasn’t been worth every penny. He just sinks into that plush material and seems more relaxed than ever, so it helps me sleep easier too knowing he’s comfy.

As for sales? You bet, snagged mine during a Black Friday deal. Absolute steal. Maybe bookmark their site or set an alert for price drops? While you’re waiting tho, check out the Furhaven pet beds. Heaps comfier than they look and a bit kinder on the wallet. Has anyone else tried ’em?

    Stay pawsome guys 🐾+

To be honest, seeing my pup snuggle up so comfortably warms my heart – it’s quite durable annd super cozy so it feels like it was worth every penny. Just remmeber to take care of it properly, a good vacuum and occasional wash did wonders for ours.

@SpringerSpanielMom – totally agree with your sale shopping approach! Wait for the holiday sales or check out some outlet stores for some decent discounts. 👌 It made gulping down that price tag a bit more bearable ha!

Also, anyone tried memory foam beds? Heard they could be a good alternative… 🤔

I’d say go for something that balances comfort and durability more evenly. We switched to K9 Ballistics Chew Proof Elevated Dog Bed; it’s more of an investment upfront, but its held up really well so far and Max seemed to adjust just fine after a few days. The Ugg is still in his rotation tho’, especially during colder months – there’s no denying they’re super snug!

guys, not much of a dog expert here but I can absolutely understand the desire we all have to provide our fur babies with the utmost comfort. Took a gander at that Ugg dog bed and gotta say, it definitely looks super cozy. However, just like some of y’all mentioned, I’ve heard from a few friends who say they aren’t as durable as you’d hope for. Especially if you got one of those chew happy pooches…like mine!

You might want to look into something that strikes a good balance between comfort and durability. Definitely learned my lesson when my pups tore through their fluffy beds in a matter of weeks! Perhaps something like K9 Ballistics, as someone mentioned earlier? I’m considering trying them out. Has anyone else had any experience with those? How do they hold up against chewers?

But durability? Eh, not where it shines.

My terrier loved the fluff to shreds – literally! So I feel you @bulldogmomma on that tug o’ war between comfort vs durability. I moved to Orvis tough chew beds and honestly haven’t looked back since.

Has anyone else tried switching out? Any recommendations for something closer to Ugg in comfort but high up on the durability scale?

So, I’ve had the Ugg dog bed for about 3 months now and I’m kind of on the fence here. My golden retriever loves it – he sinks right into that plush goodness and is out like a light – but honestly, I’m not so stoked about the cleaning part. It’s kinda high maintenance, y’know? Although, from the durability point of view (which was something discussed before), I’d say it’s quite sturdy and holding up pretty well.

Is anyone else feeling a bit overwhelmed by the ‘cleaning rigmarole’ or is it just me being lazy? Any cleaning tips to make this process easier?

So I guess from my perspective, depends on your dog’s temperature preferences? Maybe try cooling pads in the summer if yours is also a heat-hater? Not sure if anyone else has had similar experinces?

But if your doggy gets hot a lot, have you thought about getting an elevated bed instead? It’s been a game changer for us during summer months! They allow for air circulation underneath and keep your furry buddy cool – my terrier loves her’s! Just another idea to chew on. 😉 Anyone else tried the elevated beds too?
