Oh, absolutely agreed on the Happy Hips dog treats. I have two Dalmatians who are known for their love for food and they just devour these so eagerly. I specifically love the size – they’re quite substantial, making them great rewards for training sessions. Plus, they’re pretty durable too! They don’t crumble easily unlike some other brands we’ve tried before (won’t be naming names and souring this post though!). The price may be a touch above average, but considering the high quality and how much my Dalmis adore them, it’s a value in my opinion.

Just a word of caution to those introducing their furries to these treats: maybe start off with smaller bits until you’re sure their digestion handles it well. Even though my dogs have cast-iron stomachs, I always take a cautious approach with new food items.

I’d definitely recommend any dog-owner out there to give ’em a go! Curious to know – do any of you guys use them as meal supplements occasionally or strictly stick with them as treats?

Although I agree that Happy Hips is a fantastic choice, especially for older dogs with joint concerns, I’ve noticed that the size of these treats tends to vary in the pack. Does anyone else experience this? I’ve had Lab-mixes for over 17 years, annd my current girl, Bella, starts munching on them like there’s no tomorrow! However, because of the varying sizes, portion control can get a bit tricky. I worry about overfeeding. Any tips?

Oh, Happy Hips dog treats? More like Happy Owners annd their Hip-loving pooches! I digress; these are truly a godsend. My golden Lab, Benny, drools over these, and don’t get me started on the size – perfect for his large jaws; thank goodness for no more choking scares. Considering durability, they last enough for him to munch away enjoyably but not too long that he gets bored.

Just a wee piece of advice tho – newbies, do introduce them slowly to your pup’s diet; every dog reacts differently to new treats. Now my only grumble is about the price point. Wish it had fewer zeroes but hey, anything for Benny’s gleaming eyes and wagging tail!

Anyone else feel the pinch in their pockets or is it just my dog who apparently has expensive taste?
