Keeps crumbs at check, unlike regular feeding bowls! Have any of you tried placing the food directly onto the bed? My Muffin gets all excited reaching for those hidden treats. Makes meal times kind of an adventurous sport for her! Agreeing with @LilaPaws here that comfort + nutrition is indeed a splendid combo. But what about cleaning up? Anybody got effective cleanup tricks that won’t stress out our pups?

But isn’t there a risk of getting the bed dirty? That’d certainly be a downside for me, because Rex can be quite the messy eater. Has anyone figured out any hacks to keep it clean?

Also, for those worried about cleanliness, I’ve had great luck with one of those plastic placemats stuck under the food and water bowls, stops most of the spillage from spreading around – just another idea to consider!

So maybe stick to dry treats on the bed as an alternative? What’s everyone’s take on this or has anyone had differnet experiences with settling their doggos for meal times?

However, despite the high quality, I wouldn’t exactly recommend feeding your past on it. It kind of defeats the harmony of the bed being a place for relaxation. Plus, meal spills could be harsh on the fine fabric – trust me, we had an unfortunate incident with some leftover steak bones.

But for occasional treats or kibbles? Oh sure, no harm done! Thoughts anyone else?
