As for challenges, sometimes I feel like the bed might be a tad bit too firm for her liking (especially during winter months). It’s jsut a guess tho coz she never really told me 😉 lol. Has anyone here tried adding a blanket or something to make it more cozy? Or any other tips you’ve discovered?

Maybe giving it some time would help? Anybody else have similar experience with their beds softening up over time?

Also, I’ve found that a cozy blanket on top can make it feel snauggler for them (even if they end up half off the bed 😆). Anyone else try any ‘softening’ techniques or do your dogs simply learn to love the firmness?

And good point about the blanket! Can’t count how many times an old, worn-out throw has come to rescue in our household. We’ve also found that rotating the bed every couple of weeks can help even out any spots that may have gotten a little too “loved”.

Anybody else find their dog likes it more when it’s flipped over? Or is that just my weirdo pooch?

A snugly blanket definitely helps, she drags her tattered ol’ blankie everywhere around the house (you bet it found its way onto this bed too!). If your furball isn’t warming up to it, turning their favorite chew toy into a pseudo-pillow might be worth a shot—I tried this on Maddie during our trial period with the new bed. Thankfully it seemed to highten her interest in it.

Have any of you folks try an orthopedic bed as an option? I’ve ben hearing rave reviews about them especially for senior pups. While there’s no one-size-fits-all, they seem to cater to dogs’ specific needs better and more comfortably – just food for thought!

One thing though – I’ve noticed that Sam likes it more without the cover on? Kinda weird, I know. Maybe because it feels cooler? Anyone else notice this with their pup’s Tuft and Needle?

Btw – since we’re on the topic of dog’s blankets (btw they do get attached don’t they?), does anyone have any recommendations for machine washable blankets that can survive our furry friends love… and teeth? Lol!

BTW, are the rest of you having trouble getting that cover back on after a wash? I feel like I’m wrestling an octopus every time. Doesn’t stop Marvin from diving right in though. 😅 Maybe they need to tweak the design just a teeny bit?

Have any of you tried the Casper dog bed as a comparison? Heard good things about it and was wondering if it’s worth making the switch.

P.S: Blanket is king! Marvin has this ratty old thing he can’t sleep without. Does anyone else’s fur baby do that too?

As for the wrestling match with the cover after a wash, oh boy do I feel you… It’s like putting a tight sweater on a hyperactive toddler, isn’t it? The trick I found was to put the foam back when it’s still a bit damp. It kinda glides easier into the cover. Dunno if that’d help anyone else facing the same struggle?

Also, for those whose pups prefer no cover – ever tried adding a soft throw blanket instead? Might be more comfy for them furry pals while still protecting the foam from excessive wear and tear. What do you guys think? Just tossing in my two cents. Cheers!

Mine’s a large German Sheppard who slobbers quite a bit. So, naturally, frequent washing was necessary. What ended up working for me though, was getting an extra cover. Yeah, it means spending a few more bucks but let me tell you, life without the struggle is a sweet ride!

Also anyone else noticed how the corners are not really big-dog friendly? My buddy always seems to roll off when he stretches out… A while ago, I switched to Big Barker orthopedic dog bed which worked wonders for my big amigo. Might be worth checking out if your fur budy is on the larger side too?

P.S: Despite all, doesn’t take away from it being one heck of a comfy bed. Max says four paws up 🐾🐾!
