MemberAnd as far as quality goes, after a few months of Cooper running riot on it, the dog bed still looks brand new. The material hasn’t frayed or peeled, unlike other beds we’ve tried before. Y’know, someone earlier mentioned the convenience of cleaning —couldn’t agree more! Hassle-free washing is what every pet owner needs.
That being said, I wish I had known beforehand just how big these Reddy beds are. My fault for not checking dimensions properly but geez…it nearly takes up half our living room! Anyone else had the same issue or am I the only space-challenged one here?
In hindsight, really not complaining much considering how much Cooper loves it. Definitley worth every penny IMO. Keep those tails wagging!

Memberguys, jumping in here as a newbie but with some doggo experience under my belt. I agree with most folks on here about the durability of the Reddy bed. My boxer pup, Rocky, chewed on pretty much everything he could find but this bed has really weathered the storm…still in one piece and comfy as ever, so definitely a thumbs up from me for quality!
Advice for those considering it… maybe start with the smaller size if you’re unsure becuase they’re pretty roomy. Rocky’s a big boy now and still fits his just fine. Also curious…anyone else’s dog take a while to get used to the raised edges or was that just mine? Anyway, great bed overall!

MemberBut here’s the rub – I’ve noticed the removable cover isn’t as easy peasy to wash as some other brands’ covers out there. It ends up clumping after a few washes and loses some of its softness.
So if you’re someone who prefers to clean regularly like me (Being a clean freak with a mucky pup, oh the irony! 😅), then I’d recommend checking out the Big Barker line – those bed covers are real champs when it comes to withstanding machine washes and maintaining their plush feel. Happy comfort hunting for your furry friends! 🐾

MemberNot sure if you’ve tried this, but here’s a little tip I picked up from experience. Wash annd dry the cover inside out, helps to keep its shape better when you’re putting it back on the bed. If you’re finding it really tough, mabye look into other beds with easier-to-manage covers? Your pup might not be as picky as us hoomans about what they sleep on ;). Thoughts?

MemberHas anyone else tried this or found any other workarounds? Also, be careful not to use too hot water—I made that mistake once and the cover shrunk a smidge. Still fits but it’s definitely a snugger fit.

MemberI’d bought other beds before this one but they never seemed to last, either getting chewed up or ripping at the seams too quickly. However, Reddy bed has withstood the Buster test, heh. Anyone else noticed these beds seem much more durable? Might jsut be Buster mellowing with age…

MemberMy fur baby absolutely adored her Reddy bed when we first got it – held up pretty well even though she’s got some chewer instincts. But after about 5 months it started to lose its shape a bit.
No bed is impervious to the wear and tear so can’t really blame Reddy for this. However, I did find a solution that worked out better for us. I got my pooch an indestructible dog bed instead – vet recommended and everything. The name of the brand escapes me at the moment but I’ll be sure to post it as soon as I remember!
Does that help anyone else or does anyone have other alternative brands they found success with?

Memberall! Absolutely seconding the love for the Reddy dog bed here. I got one when I adopted my pup Murphy a few months back and it’s seriously been a godsend. He’s not really a chewer (thankfully!) but his constant digging never fazes this bed. Once, he even yanked it all around to create a make-shift fort and no tears or rips at all. Lifesaver in terms of durability!
Regarding comfort, well, let’s just say Murph spends more time on his Reddy bed than anywhere else in the house😄. It seems to hold its shape really well too even after several loundry cycles – not like those beds that go flat after a month *rolls eyes*
Only small gripe would be – wish they had more color options, something wild like leopard prints or neon shades maybe? Or am i just being an extra dog mom? 😅 Anyway, all in all, I’d highly recommend this bed to fellow dog owners!
P.S: Anyone else think their dog becomes overly possessive with their reddy beds or is it just mine who loves it too much?

MemberHowever, we did have a minor hiccup with cleaning. In my experience, the cover is a bit of a pain to take off for washing. Anyone else run into this? Just wondering if there are any Tips&Tricks or is it one of those grin-and-bear-it situations? 🙂
And to those on the hunt for a sturdy yet comfy solution – no hesitations, get on the Reddy bandwagon!
