But if your heart’s set on spoiling them rotten (and whose isn’t?), I’ve found that you should generally go one size bigger than you think you need. Gives ’em a little extra room to stretch and roll around. From personal experience though, I’d reckon the Medium sized bed works well for most dogs.

By the way, have any of you tried the PupRug Faux Fur Memory Foam Orthopedic Bed? Alternatives are always worth considering and this one’s sure to give the Hermes a run for its money! Any thoughts on this?

So I’ve been using the Hermes dog bed for a good while now with my big ol’ Golden Retriever. The most important part was definitely getting the right size since Danny (that’s the dog, not my husband haha) loves to stretch out full length.

Yea, these beds are pricey but boy, it was worth every penny considering the quality and comfort they bring to our furry pals.

But here’s somethin’ that crossed my mind after seeing some of your comments. Has anyone actually washed theirs yet? Like, is it a proper hassle or will it come out still looking decent? Don’t want the bed looking all ragged after a single wash! Any tips or advice would be really appreciated!

    Stay pawsome!

Totally agree with you about Hermes dog beds. Got one for my St Bernard, and we’ve been loving it. The bed’s size is just perfect for him plus the comfort level is on another level (he literally won’t leave it). And though it’s pricy, I feel like it’s worth every penny considering the top-notch quality.

Does anyone know how to clean them properly though? My dog has a knack for messing things up real quick haha.

A little tip: Always consider how your canine buddy sleeps. If they’re the sprawlers like my girl here, always go a size bigger than you think. They’ll thank you for that extra wiggle room!

Anyone else got a chubby doodle who loves sprawling? Lol.

I do have a question though, how’s the maintenance like? My girl likes to bring her chew toys onto the bed and it gets pretty messy at times. Is it easy cleaning those tougher stains? Thanks in advance!

So my two cents here is that size isn’t just about length and width – depth and structure play their part as well. Depending on how ur furkid sleeps, you might want to explore more plush options or cave-style beds.

As for maintenance, from my experience u gotta set boundaries if ur pup is a heavy chewer. Ours loved his squeaky toys but we made sure any chewing happened off the fancy bed.

Anyone had similar experiences or found beds that work better for nestling breeds? We’re still looking! 🙂
