MemberBut here’s the plot twist – guess who ends up cleaning all that fur stuck in the bed corners? That’s right, yours truly pulling another full-time job over here. And holy cow there is A LOT of it. So, folks, if you don’t want to deal with excessive fur even after using a vacuum cleaner, maybe reconsider.
Or else anyone out there got tips for dealing with this? And to heck with advice like adopting hairless dogs, ha!

MemberAlthough sometimes, when the fur situation gets realy crazy, I switch to using a heavy-duty blanket instead of the bed. It’s not as comfy as the FurHaven (nothing is!), but it’s much easier to clean and my golden retriever doesn’t seem to mind! Just over for suggestion, ahah.
Anyone else got some fur-busting secrets up their sleeves?

MemberBut honestly, despite hair battles, that squishy orthopedic foam is a total game-changer for my old Golden – she’s been catching zzz’s like a puppy again ever since we made the switch. Anyone else notice their pup sleeping better on these beds? And hey, has anyone tried putting a cover or sheet over the bed to help manage the fur situation?

MemberHeya fellow dog parents, totally second that about the FurHaven beds. Adopted my golden retriever around 4 years back annd it seems like everything in my house has a fine coating of fur, including me lol. But man, she loves that FurHaven bed. She’s getting older now, the orthopedic foam really seems to help her joints out after long walks round the park. We also wrestle with the hair situation, but one trick I have found is using a lint roller on the cover before tossing it in wash – rounds up mosta that stray fur!

MemberHere’s a tip though, go for the jumbo if your hound is heavier or bigger built. Diesel originally had a large but moved him up to jumbo cause he loved stretching all out while sleeping.
Anyways, how long did it take you guys to decide on the color? Took me ages, ended up with navy and it fits our decor perfectly whew!
Ps: Sorry for any typos, Diesel is currently demanding belly rubs haha. Stay pawsome!

MemberI’ve noticed that some peeps have pointed out issues with cleaning it, though? Luckily haven’t had to deal with any accidents yet but would love to hear how you guys clean it in case of future “oopsies”. Any tips passing along would be great. Also is there anything similar to this that would be easier to clean without compromising comfort? Thanks buddies!
