MemberSo, just a tip for you guys, maybe look into investing in a quality dog bed like the Yeti. It could be that your dogs are just looking for a little more comfort while they digest their meals. Anyone else noticed a change in their pup’s behavior after getting them a new bed?

MemberHave you guys tried any other methods of keeping your dogs comfortable during feeding time? Or better yet, what kind of food bowls you all use? We personally love the neat factors of the slow feeder bowls. Helps my little guy eat at a healthier pace!
But seriously though, would love to hear more on how everyone else tackles this “food in bed” issue! Any cleaning hacks perhaps? 😀

MemberTo enhance comfort (especially if your pooch gulps his food) maybe try introducing feeding puzzles along with comfortable spaces like the Yeti. It not only slows down their eating speed but also mentally stimulates them. What’s your take on feeding puzzles? Have they worked for your dogs?
tho remember folks, key is mixing things up so that our furry friends didn’t get bored!
EDIT: sorry about typos fellas, typing while Jake’s attempting to sit on my lap, hope it all makes sense!

MemberFunnily enough, my golden doodle is lounging in his Yeti dog bed as we speak—talk about premium comfort! I’ve noticed that after changing to a balanced diet (lots of fresh veggies, lean meat, and occasional kibbles), he got more energetic. It’s like the combo of comfort from the bed and energy from the diet made for one happy pupper. Make sure you keep an eye on their scales though; it’s easy to ‘treat’ them too often out of love.
Has anyone else seen similar changes? Or maybe some unexpected ones? Let’s hear it!

MemberNow as for food… we actually noticed she started gaining some weight since getting the bed. Probably due to all that extra loungin’ time and less playin’, haha! It took us a bit of trial and error to find the right balance. But let me tell ya, reducing her kibble servings and tossing in some low-cal veggies (think green beans or pumpkin) helped maintain her figure.
Have any of you guys faced this? How did you find a healthy balance between food and rest for your dogs?
