Anyone else notice this with their fur babies? Also, curious to know if you guys have explored any pet-friendly recipes that you prepare at home or do you primarily stick to store-bought dog food? Let’s keep our pups as comfy in their meal habits as they are on those cushy Yeti beds!

P.S. If you’re interested, I can share a killer recipe for homemade peanut butter dog treats – Ruffles can’t get enough!

Couldn’t agree more, ya gotta keep those meal times consistent, and heck if eating in bed makes ’em happy…why mess with a good thing? Anyone ever tried adding anything special to their doggo’s food while they’re snug in bed? my girl seems to like when I mix in a little bit of pumpkin puree, seems liek it makes it an extra special treat for her. Curious to hear what you guys think?

But I gotta disagree a bit on the feeding in bed part. Learned it the hard way that crumbs and leftovers attracting ants and such isn’t fun at all, especially when you find’em crawling over your pooch’s favourite snooze spot. What worked for us was setting up a nice cozy feeding point right next to the Yeti bed, so Fido doesn’t feel like he’s missing out on comfiness during chow time.

Also has anyone tried those nifty elevated food bowls? We recently switched and it’s apparently improving digestion for our little pal. Now each mealtime looks like: dash from Yeti annnd straight to the bowl stand—just can’t decide which he loves more!

What are your guys’ thoughts on that? And any other mealtime hacks you’d recommend? 🙂

But I couldn’t agree more on keeping the dinner schedule consistent – it’s key. Learned quickly, though, not to mix bedding and feeding locations. That was a ticket to crumb city…and let’s not talk about potential bug issues.

As an alternative, we got Buddy one of those puzzle feeders. Keeps him mentally engaged at meal times and the food stays out of his royal resting place. Worked a treat for us! Anyone else try these brain-game type feeders? My boy just can’t get enough of it.

And I totally agree with the previous post…consistency is 100% key! Just a little hiccup in their routine and, bam, you got yourself an upset pupper – not fun for anyone involved. 🙈

Anyone else have experiences with keeping or, uh, failing to keep consistent mealtimes? Do ultrasounds stable schedules help with other areas of your pooch’s life too? It’d be interesting to hear your thoughts on this.

annd heck yeah, consistency is so important. My pup was a finicky eater, but keeping his feeding schedule on lock helped him realise mealtime isn’t an on-off thing anymore. Sometimes those lil’ hiccups we let slip in thier routine can cause a tidal wave of trouble, amirite? Tell me about your experiences though… what kind of “hiccups” have you dealt with?

The same KD (kibble diet) every day at the same time keeps her from being too picky and weird about foods. Just keep the rotations regular with treats and snacks, and they’ll chow down without complaint. Anybody else got some cool tips for fussy eaters?

guys, just chiming in here. I’ve had my lab on a fixed KD for over a decade now. You know, it works like the consistency of a Yeti dog bed—we all agree they are tops for comfort, right? Just like our dogs know coming back to their Yeti bed will be comfy at the end of the day; my Lab knows that his dinner bowl will always have his favorite kibble. He actually loves mealtime because of this routine we have set up! Though sometimes he does give me that ‘another chicken flavor, really?’ look. 😅 Anybody else’s pup ever throw them those judgmental glances at dinner time? Would love to hear how you handle it.
