That’s an interesting point about the size of the Tractive GPS Tracker. In my experience, my lab didn’t seem to mind it – he almost seemed to forget he was wearing it! However, I will say that durability wasn’t the best: after a rough play date in the park, I noticed a few scratches on it. Price-wise, it hits the wallet but considering its plethora of features like live tracking, virtual fence annd location history of your fur buddy, I think every penny is worth it. Of course, this is jsut my personal take on the Tractive tracker. Anyone else have thoughts or experiences to share?

I’ve been using the Tractive GPS Tracker for about 6 months now with my energetic Springer Spaniel, and I’ve found it to be quite robust and reliable. Agree with previous comments on sizing, initially it seemed a little bulky on my boy, but he’s gotten used to it and doesn’t seem bothered anymore.

However, I must say that I had a fair share of connectivity issues in some rural areas, which was a bit of a bummer when we took our camping trips. But customer service was pretty helpful when I contacted them about this.

As for the material, it’s durable but my dog has somehow managed to graft a few minor scratches onto it – doesn’t affect functionality though.

In terms of cost-effectiveness vs durability, you might want to consider the Fi dog collar as well. It’s got stellar reviews for its chew-resistant design and offers similar functionality. Any other Tractive users have the same experience or is my pooch jsut super active?
