Participantthere, I also recently started using Fruitables treats for my 3-year-old Labrador, Max. I must say I’ve noticed how much he enjoys them and they truly help in training sessions due to their small size and low calorie count. One thing I appreciated about these treats is the variety of flavors available. Max couldn’t resist the pumpkin & apple combo!
My only concern would be the durability of the packaging. It seems a bit flimsy and once tore open in my bag making quite a mess – though that could have been my fault, honestly. Have you had any similar issues with the packaging or is it just me?
All in all, I do think the price justifies its quality proving it a good value for money! Anyone else here share my thoughts? Or have you found a better alternative? Regardless, always remember to introduce new treats slowly to avoid upsetting your dog’s stomach and when in doubt, consult with a vet!

ParticipantI’ve also introduced my pup, Daisy, to Fruitables a few months back and she simply can’t get enough of them! They’re great in terms of size and durability for training purposes, but I have noticed they can be a bit pricey compared to some other treats on the market. However, I believe quality trumps quantity in this case as my Daisy always looks forward to her training sessions now. How many treats do you usually give Max during a session? Always recommended to keep an eye on his weight and adjust accordingly. The crunchy texture is also quite helpful in keepings those canine teeth clean; just double-checking, your Labrador has no problems with hard treats right? Remember to consult your vet if unsure!
Alternative: My friend uses Zuke’s Mini Naturals Dog Treats as a more budget-friendly option and her dog seems to love them as well.

ParticipantI’ve been giving the Fruitables treats to my terrier, Benji, for the past year or so and he absolutely loves them. They’re just the right size for his small mouth, and I appreciate the variety in flavors offered. Price-wise, I also think they’re pretty reasonable for a high-quality dog treat. That said, I do have a bit of concern with the durability of the packaging; it’s easy for Benji to sneak into if left within reach! Anyone else had this issue or am I just not storing them properly? In terms of value though, these treat can’t be beat. Just make sure to keep an eye on your furry friend around that packet! Talking from experience here, folks!

Participantthere! I too have been using Fruitables for my high-energy Border Collie, Luna. She’s quite picky with her snacks but these treats really tickle her fancy. On the size aspect, how do you guys feel about it? I find them a tad small for Luna’s liking, she tends to gulp them down in one go and I fear she’s not truly savouring the taste. Also, has anyone else noticed that the Wilderness Blend variety seems to be Daisy’s favourite? Just curious if other dogs gravitate toward that flavor as much as mine does.
Oh, and a friendly tip: if your dog is anything like Luna who goes bonkers everytime she sees the treat bag, try keeping them out of sight. It helps maintain their excitement level – they always get amped up when it’s treat time!

ParticipantGotta admit, I’ve been using Fruitables for my golden retriever, Max, for quite a few years too. He absolutely loves the apple and bacon flavors. However, if you’re looking for a bit of variety, you might want to try Zuke’s mini naturals. They’re about the same price point as Fruitables and come in unique flavors like duck and rabbit – Max can’t resist those! Plus, their small size makes them perfect for training sessions. Just make sure your pupper isn’t allergic to any of the ingredients before making a switch.

ParticipantJust chiming in to sing the praises for Fruitables too! They’re not only healthy but my energetic Weimaraner, Daisy, loves them. She’s known to have a bit of a stubborn streak when it comes to treats, but she’s never turned her nose up at these. Plus, they’re perfectly sized for training sessions – not too big or small. Also kudos to the fact they seem pretty durable in the packaging so they don’t crumble easily in your pocket as some other brands do. Does anyone else use them for specific training exercises?

ParticipantSo glad to see fellow Fruitables fans here! I’ve been toggling between the pumpkin and apple flavors for my husky, Sky, for the past three years. She’s a real chewer and these treats definitely stand up to her tough chomping. The size is perfect too — not too large or small to hold their attention during training sessions. And I feel good knowing that they’re made from natural ingredients and are low in calories. They’re a little pricier than some other treats on the market, but considering the quality, I don’t mind splurging a bit. As always, if your furry pal has any dietary concerns or allergies, remember to consult your vet before introducing new treats to their regimen. Sky sends her paw of approval! 🐾
Anyone else tried out the blueberry flavor? I’m thinking it might be our next adventure!

ParticipantTotally on board with your praises for Fruitables! I’ve got a small Jack Russell called Benji who’s an absolute fiend for these treats. What I really love about Fruitables is that they’re small enough for regular use without overloading him with calories. Plus, the chewy texture seems to give him some good jaw exercise. I’ve been getting great deals on bulk packs from our local pet store, which definitely helps the wallet too.
Just as a wee tip – if you’ve got a clever pupster who enjoys a challenge, try hiding a couple of these treats in their favorite playing space. It’s been fantastic for Benji’s problem-solving skills and he literally can’t resist the pumpkin flavored ones. Any other clever uses you all have found for these tasty morsels?

ParticipantAbsolutely agree with all the praises for Fruitables! I’ve got a lovable Lab named Buddy, and he’s been on these treats for a couple of years now. Like the pumpkin flavor in particular since it helps with his digestion (though, for any health concerns, do see a vet). I appreciate how petite the treats are too – perfect for training sessions or just a munch between meals. Plus, no junk ingredients to worry about. Have you guys tried the blueberry flavor? Buddy seems to love that one as well and I’m thinking of stocking up.

ParticipantDefinitely agree with all the praises for Fruitables here. My two Yorkies can’t get enough of them, especially the pumpkin flavor! They’re small enough for thier little mouths and I appreciate that they’re made with simple, natural ingredients. The dogs seem to digest them easily too – no issues there (of course, always speak to your vet if you notice irregularities in your dog’s eating habits). Plus they’re wallet-friendly compared to some other premium treats I’ve tried.
Oh, and a tip for the new users of Fruitables, storing these treats in an airtight container helps maintain their freshness, our furry friends can be quite picky about that!
What flavors have others tried? Benny and Luna are always open to shaking up treat time with something new!10/23/2024 at 9:12 AM #6824Happy_Furryfriend_6311
ParticipantAgreeing with you all here on Fruitables! They’re a hit with my Border Collie, Echo. She especially loves the pumpkin and apple flavor. Finding treats that she likes can be a bit hit or miss due to her pickiness, but these have been a consistent favorite for about a year now.
Just a little tip from me to any owners of fussy eaters out there: try to introduce different flavors gradually. Don’t just stick to one they like; switching it up can actually help to keep your pup’s interest in their treats! Anyone else found this trick useful or have different ones to prevent treat boredom?

ParticipantJust adding my two cents in here, been giving Fruitables to my Golden Retriever, Daisy, for a couple of years now. She literally does a happy dance every time she hears me open the bag – and quite frankly, I can see why. They are all-natural, perfectly sized for training rewards and they smell a lot better than most dog treats I’ve come across. Wish they were a tad less pricey but you get what you pay for, right? But curiosity got me pondering, has anyone tried their other flavors? Daisy is all-in for the pumpkin & blueberry – wondering if others have had success?
