ParticipantSo, here we are discussing Nudges Natural Dog Treats, huh? I’ll be brutally honest: my Mastiff, Brutus, could probably swallow these treats whole. They’re so tiny for such a big dog! I mean, they claim to be “natural,” but seriously, the size is kinda laughable for larger breeds.
On the other hand, Brutus does seem to adore the flavor. His tail starts wagging the moment he sees the bag. So maybe start producing King-sized Nudges? Just food for thought—no pun intended. How are your pups handling the ‘fun-sized’ treat situation?

ParticipantOh, I absolutely agree about the size of Nudges Natural Dog Treats! Perfect for both small and large pooches, right? My Yorkie, Daisy, manages to nibble on them just as easily as my Rottie, Bear. However, they do tend to crumble a bit too easily for my liking – made a bit of mess around the house before I caved and started giving them to Daisy and Bear during outside playtime only.
Funnily enough, Bear sniffed them out of the shopping bag himself when I first brought them home. Started wagging his tail like crazy – that’s how you know it’s gonna be a hit, huh? Despite the slight messiness, I think the genuine meatiness and wonderful nutrition value gives these treats an edge over others in their price range.
But as always, don’t forget to add some variety in your dog’s diet. Anyone else experimenting with different types or brands of treats aside from Nudges? Also, any tips on how to reduce treat crumbles?

ParticipantDefinitely agree about the perfect size for all! My Border Collie, Luna, is also a massive fan of Nudges Natural Dog Treats. We’ve been through so many brands, but Luna seems to just love these ones. Maybe it’s the texture or the taste – but she goes crazy for them.
As for durability, well, they don’t last long in our house, hah! But the packaging always stays intact and fresh until the last treat which makes storage easy-peasy. And let’s not get started on the price – really fair for what you’re getting.
Anyone else noticed their dogs having more energy after munching on these treats? Or is it just my looney Luna?
Btw, if you’re introducing these snacks for the first time, I suggest doing it gradually just to see how your pup reacts to them. Of course, consult your vet if any health concerns crop up.

ParticipantOh boy, do I have a tale to tell about the Nudges Natural Dog Treats! My multi-breed rescue, Buddy, is notoriously picky about her treats. But Nudges? She absolutely wolfed them down! The ingredient list was impressive, lots of natural goodness without the fillers some other brands use. Ideal size too, especially for training sessions where you might be using quite a few. One little tip though – they can be a bit tough, so if you’ve got a senior dog or one with dental issues, you might want to break them into smaller pieces or moisten them slightly. Let’s keep it really dog-friendly out there guys! Any of your pups have funny reactions to trying these out for the first time?

ParticipantI’m completely on board with you all about the Nudges Natural Dog Treats. Molly, my spry old Labrador, waits eagerly by the pantry door every afternoon for her Nudges fix. They’re not only well-sized for her big mouth but incredibly soft, which complements her aging teeth nicely. The only drawback is these treats might be a tad pricey for some pup parents. But considering their quality and that they’re made in the USA, I believe they’re worth every penny! Anyone else get this vibe?
Have any of you tried transitioning slower to these treats? I was wondering about an easier intro for dogs with sensitive stomachs. Always best to check with your Vet folks!

ParticipantWhile I’m not one to knock Nudges, as they seem great and all- my experience with them was a little different. Granted, my Shih Tzu, Pippin, is quite the petite little thing. I found the treats were too tough for him to chew properly. For us, we switched to Zuke’s Mini Naturals Dog Treats which are smaller and softer, much better for our mini munchkin. They are on par price-wise too. Has anyone else here tried them? Would love to hear your thoughts! No matter how good the treats are nutritionally if your pup can’t enjoy them there’s no point right? Always worth it to trial and error a few options!

ParticipantI’ve gotta agree here about the Nudges Natural Dog Treats! They are indeed top-notch. My German Shepherd, Max, is a notoriously picky eater but he went gaga over these treats. The size is just right for him to chew easily and I love how they’re made with real meat as the first ingredient. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that they’re quite affordable compared to other natural dog treats out there. Just remember not to substitute these treats for balanced meals, folks! Have any of you tried their grillers variety? Max seems to love those even more!

ParticipantI’ve been feedin’ my lively Border Collie, Jack, Nudges Natural Dog treats for a good while now. The size and texture are on point. They’re large enough to satisfy Jack’s “chomp-chomp” desire but soft enough for a comfortable chew. Considering their high quality nutritional aspects, I find the price reasonable.
Here’s a li’l bit of advice from my side, especially if your dog is the eager type like Jack. Use these treats in moderation during training sessions – they work magic when used as a reward for learning new tricks or behaviour correction. It also avoids over snacking between meals.
Has anyone tried their grillers variant? Are they any good? Delighted with the Jerky Cuts but thought about mixing it up a bit! I’ll definitely second the idea of consulting a vet if you have any health concerns related to feeding habits though. Cheers all!

ParticipantI’ve been using Nudges Natural Dog Treats too for my bull terrier, Goliath. He’s a big boy with big teeth, and these treats are pretty durable and seem to hold up fine! We even use them as part of his training routine because he loves the taste so much. My only question would be about the size – they seem a bit small for larger breeds. Has anyone found any similar natural dog treats that come in bigger sizes, perhaps?

ParticipantI’ve got to chime in here with my own two cents. I’ve been using different dog treats for my pudgy pug, Toby, but haven’t found quite the right one until we tried Nudges Natural. I love that they’re made in the USA and don’t have any artificial additives.
Here’s a little story: one day, I accidentally dropped a treat on the floor and instead of gobbling it up right away (which is typical Toby behavior), he took his sweet time sniffing it and then finally savored every bite. It was like he knew these were extra special treats!
In terms of price, they are a wee bit pricier compared to other options, but considering the quality and balanced nutrition they offer, it’s definitly worth tthe cost. It gives an added assurance when you can trust what’s going into your fur-baby’s tummy.
Anyone else notice their dogs savoring these treats or is it just Toby being a gourmet?

ParticipantAbsolutely agree with all of you – Nudges Natural Dog treats are a big win in my house too. I’ve got two fur babies, an old Golden Retriever, Marley, and a petite Frise named Pixie. At first, I worried the treat size might be too big for Pixie but she loves them just as much as Marley does!
What really impresses me is the ingredient list – it’s clear, not full of things I can’t pronounce. Feels like a healthier snack option for them, especially after our long walks. The dogs go nuts as soon as they smell its chicken aroma. A bit on the pricey side though but given their love for it and its natural recipe, I think it’s worth it.
Anyone else use these as training rewards? They seem to work wonders on my two with their strong “sit” and “stay” success rate haha! Remember guys always monitor your dogs’ reactions to new products though – what works for one may not work for all!

ParticipantJust thought I’d add my viewpoint into the mix here. I’ve been using Nudges Natural Dog Treats for around two years now with my German Shepherd, Duke. He’s always had a very picky palate and trust me, we tried all kinds of brands before finding this one. Weighing in at over 100lbs, he’s a big boy with a mighty appetite to match. These wholesome treats really come in handy when we’re focusing on obedience training – they’re not too large but just enough to get his attention without distracting him from the task at hand. Plus, I appreciate that they have a good balance of nutrition for him without an exaggerated calorie count.
Remember, while dog treats are great in moderation, don’t rely on them as your pooch’s primary source of nutrition. Always consult your vet for advice regarding diet and nutritional needs!

ParticipantAbsolutely a fan of Nudges Natural Dog Treats here too! When they hit our home, my two rambunctious retrievers couldn’t get enough of them. I was initially drawn to their natural ingredients and no artificial junk. Could tell a noticeable difference in their reactions compared to other brands I’ve tried. The size is substantial enough without worrying about them stuffing themselves too quickly. For fellow owners with large breeds, however, do be mindful of the size – might be a gamble if your breed has smaller mouth or is an overly enthusiastic eater. What variety did everyone find their dogs prefer? Our guys are in love with the Grillers.

ParticipantTotally get where all of you are coming from, Nudges Natural Dog Treats do seem to be a crowd-pleaser. However, in my house, we’ve had an even better experience with Zuke’s Mini Naturals. My golden retriever, Jasper, goes absolutely bananas for them! They’re slightly smaller in size than the Nudges, which makes them a perfect option for training rewards. Plus, the price point is really agreeable for what you get as they last a while since they are mini treats. Just thought I’d throw another option out there for fellow fur-parents to try! Anyone else use Zuke’s or have any other favored treats?
