I have to agree with you here, Whimzees dog treats are a hit with my goldie too! I always struggle to find the perfect size of treat in other brands, but Whimzee’s variety pack has been a godsend honestly. My Cooper isn’t particularly choosy but he does have a penchant for their alligator-shaped ones, go figure.

I found their durable texture great for keeping his chompers clean – an unexpected bonus. As for the price point, well, it’s not the cheapest on the market but considering they last longer than regular treats annd the visible boost to Cooper’s dental health, I consider this solidly worth it.

Anyone else discovered any fun shapes their pups are partial too? Also should I be worried about him preferring alligators over sticks? Could this mean a career as a reptile trainer is in his future? Jokes aside, totally recommend giving Whimzees a try especially if you’ve got picky eaters at home!

Absolutely! I gotta say, my husky mix, Nala, also loves Whimzees treats. It’s remarkable as she doesn’t really go for the usual biscuit-style treats but seems to really enjoy the unique shapes annd consistency of these. Plus, they’re just the right size for her— not too small to be a choking hazard, but also not so big that she gets overwhelmed. For durability? They last surprisingly long, considering how vigorously she chews! The price may seem a bit much at first glance, but in my opinion, it’s worth it. Have any of you tried different flavors? My Nala enjoys the alligator most! Maybe your pups would like them too.

Absolutely right there with ya! My Bernese Mountain Dog, Bruno, can’t get enough of these treats. What I love about Whimzees is the variety in sizes – it fits tiny to large mouths perfectly. Have you noticed how durable they are compared to others? We once tried this pricier brand annd boy, they lasted barely 5 minutes with Bruno. We switched back to Whimzees real quick after that episode. 😅 Also, pro-tip for fussy eaters out there – if you change out a treat every second day, your pup gets a lovely surprise every time. Has anyone else tried this approach? You could suggest your pup’s favorite treat combinations!

Totally agree with all of you on the Whimzees train! My stubborn Shih Tzu, Daisy, is a notoriously picky eater but she absolutely loves these treats. I think their size and durability really enhances the chewing experience for her. Plus, bonus, they’re pretty long-lasting as well. The price may be a bit steep as compared to some other treats out there, but the quality you’re getting is completely worth it in my opinion. Ever since Daisy started gnawing at these, she’s been much more occupied and less prone to causing mischief around the house! So who else has experienced similar “peaceful” moments with their fur-babies once they got a Whimzee?

Totally hear you guys on the Whimzees bandwagon! My Cocker Spaniel, Milo, is usually pretty indifferent when it comes to treats but it was a completely different story with these. After just one whiff, he’s always completely hooked annd ready to do any trick in the book for another. What really impresses me about these treats is that they’re not only made from real vegetables but also tough enough to last him a good while before he gobbles them up entirely. And price-wise, they’re top-notch quality for what you get! So if your pup isn’t into run-of-the-mill doggy treats, definately give Whimzees a whirl! Also, For those curious on size selection – Milo’s about 20 pounds and we go with the small ones which are a great fit for his mouth.

Guess what, guys? Count me in on the Whimzees train too! My Golden Retriever, Maverick, often gobbles them up like there’s no tomorrow. What I love about these treats aside from their noticeable appeal to dogs is their size variation. There are small sizes ideal for little buddies like Daisy and the large ones for giants like Bruno. Just be careful when transitioning your pooch to a new kind of treat, introduce it slowly into their diet to avoid any potential tummy trouble. Maverick tried to chomp down a whole large sized treat once – not his brightest moment I must tell ya! Anyway, always worth keeping an eye on ’em while they’re enjoying these. For health concerns or doubts, always better to check with a vet.

On a side note, has anyone else noticed their fur babies working really hard at chewing these? Looks like it might be good for their dental hygiene too (though not a substitute for proper dental care by the vet).

The Whimzees dog treats have truly been a surprise for me and my Bullmastiff, Bruno. Owing to his size, I initially had some doubts about the chewability and durability of these treats. Well, they proved me wrong! Bruno is in love with them and it’s really fun watching him gnaw away at those cute treat shapes.

What I also appreciated was the variety in sizes and styles offered – there was definitely something for every doggo out there. This not only added an element of excitement for Bruno but also helped to maintain good oral health without causing any discomfort or harm.

Price-wise, yes, they are on the higher end compared to other products on the market, but considering how long they last and their evident quality…I’d say it’s a worthy investment!

Do any of you folks know if the company makes similar treats catered towards specific dietary requirements? For example gluten-free or low-fat options? Thanks for sharing your experiences!

Definitely agreeing with the positive insights on Whimzees. My Shih Tzu, Patches, loves them! The size is perfect for her little mouth and they’re far more durable than other brands we’ve tried. We were spending a mint previously on treats that wouldn’t last 5 minutes, so these are certainly ecoomical too. Just one piece of advice – introduce these treats slowly. Patches got a bit of an upset tummy initially since they were different from what she was used to.

On another note, has anyone tried Greenies? I’m thinking of testing them out as another treat option for Patches. Of course, Whimzees will still be our mainstay! Always nice to have options though, right?

Oh boy, Whimzees, huh? Been down that road with my Border Collie, Speedy. Don’t get me wrong; the concept is great – natural ingredients and all that jazz. But man oh man, their durability fell jsut short of expectations (Speedy ain’t no Bullmastiff but he got his power jowls). Found them to be a bit on the pricier side too for what they offer. Now I resort to beef gullets; natural, long-lasting, and more affordable. Plus, Speedy’s as thrilled with them as Bruno seems to be with Whimzees!

Anyone else tried beef gullets yet or found a better alternative besides the usual rawhide and all?

And here we step onto the Whimzees train. Had a joyride with my Dachshund, Tucker. No denying, he went cuckoo over them at first, but boy can it be messy sometimes! Take it from me, please don’t give these to your doggos on the carpet. It could end up looking like a Jackson Pollock painting in kibble form. There’s no harm in trying these out, just remember that ‘treat time’ should ideally be ‘outdoor play time’. Happy munching to your furbabies!

    Whimzees Size Selection Advice

Just echoing the love for Whimzees here. My Golden Retriever, Sunny, is a big fan too! She goes absolutely nuts for the alligator ones in particular. Material-wise, they’re really viable for her strong chew habit – no concerns about splintering or choking. But sizing can be quite tricky, especially if you have a large breed like mine. The small ones didn’t last long with Sunny, so we needed to upgrade to larger sizes. On that note, has anyone else got any tips when it comes to picking the right size Whimzees for larger breeds? I’m always on the lookout for advice to keep treat time safe and enjoyable for my girl.

Absolutely seconding the Whimzees appreciation train! I’ve had a similar journey with my terrier mix, Munchkin. A little on the smaller side he is, so finding a treat that’s just the right size was bit of a hugle! Turns out, Whimzees’ size selection is spot-on. they’re durable, don’t slips out of his tiny mouth, and literally a bang for your buck.

The only piece of advice? Start slow. If your little furball is new to these treats, introduce them gradually. We started off with one stick a day and then slowly increased the count.

Anyone else’s pooch have favorites from their varied shapes? Munch seems gaga over the alligator ones!

I definitely see the appeal of Whimzees and I’ve given them a fair try with my Boxer, Rocky. However, after a couple of purchases, we’ve landed on the conclusion that Whimzees, while they hold up reasonably well and come in a plethora of fun shapes (my Rocky loved their alligator shape) they just didn’t fit our budget as an everyday treat.

As an alternative, we’ve started using more affordable dental chews like Pedigree Dentastix. Less exciting in design but does its job well and my pooch seems to enjoy it. Plus, there’s usually a good deal on Amazon or at the local pet stores for these!

Of course, every dog and budget differs so it’s best to test out different options and see what resonates with your furry buddies. 🙂 Has anyone else found a more wallet-friendly yet effective alternative chewy? I’d love more suggestions!
