A Personal Experience with Heart to Tail Dog Treats

I’ve been using Heart to Tail dog treats for my springer spaniel, Toby, for about six months now. He absolutely loves them! I appreciate the natural ingredients and the treat size is perfect for training purposes – not too large, but substantial enough to be rewarding. Price-wise, it’s definitely affordable compared to some premium brands out there.

Fun fact: Toby’s learned to do a little spin every time he sees me reaching for the treat bag! However, always be patient when introducing new treats to your pooch; each dog’s dietary tolerance may vary. It’s exciting watching them enjoy thier treats, but ensuring no adverse reactions keeps things smooth and enjoyable. And don’t forget, despite our best knowledge as pet parents, it’s a good idea to consult a vet when introducing any major dietary changes in our furry friends’ life.

Has anyone else noticed any interesting behaviors their dogs have developed around these treats? Would love to hear more stories about it!

Oh, Heart to Tail treats, let me tell you, my golden retriever Susie is totally head over paws for them! Whoever’s been in charge of crafting these morsels surely knows the way to a dog’s heart. They’ve got the right size, easy for her to chew and not so tiny that they’re gone in an instant. The price? Not too shabby considering the quality and how durable the package is.

Just a heads up tho, when introducing these treats to your pooch, do it gradually and keep an eye on thier reactions since every dog is different. Got any other brand recommendations or quirky treat-related dog-tales to share? Would love to know more about what else Dick and Jane dogs out there are munching on!

I absolutley agree, Heart to Tail dog treats are the bee’s knees in our household too! My Cocker Spaniel, Max, is a picky eater but these treats are the exception. He just went bonkers over the duck annd sweet potato variety. Really appreciated their size too – perfect for training purposes without overfeeding. One thing to monitor though, some of these treats can be a bit hard, so it might not be suitable for pups with sensitive or weak teeth. As always, any changes in diet or reaction should warrant a visit to your friendly neighborhood vet. Anyone else tried succulent flavors from Heart to Tail?

I couldn’t agree more about Heart to Tail treats! My Shih Tzu, Daisy, is insatiable when it comes to these. They’re jsut the right size for smaller breeds, and the ingredients list has none of the ‘nasties’ I avoid for her diet. Price point? Absolute steel compared to what you pay for similar quality elsewhere. Only slightly weird thing was, she took a while to warm up to the duck flavored ones – guess she’s a chicken kinda gal. 😉 In any case, absolute win in my book. For those considering Heart to Tail as an option, Daisy and I give it two paws/thumbs up!

Absolutely spot on with Heart to Tail! My energetic Jack Russel, Benny, is an absolute fan as well. Especially the sweet potato variant – he can’t get enough of them! They’re just the right size for his small mouth and seem to be perfectly chewy for a satisfying snack experience. Plus, they’re sans artificial flavors or colors, which puts my mind at ease. A top tip: These treats are excellent for training purposes if your pup responds well to food rewards. However, remember that all dogs are different so it’s important to tailor your training methods accordingly. Has anyone tried their other flavors like the peanut butter or mint? I’m thinking of introducing them into Benny’s treat rotation.

Oh the charmed life of our four-legged companions who get these gourmet treats! While your dogs are savoring the taste of Heart to Tail, my Rottweiler, Brutus seems to be more of a meat and potatoes kind of guy. Now don’t get me wrong, there’s no denying the quality and price point of these treats – they’re spot on. But let’s just say I may have caught him trading those for Pup-Peroni sticks with the neighbor’s Bulldog once.. or thrice. What can I say, some prefer caviar, while others remain loyal to thier hotdogs. Has anyone else seen their fur-friends favoring a different treat? Just shows you that even in the doggo-world there’re healthy debates about food preferences, right?

Well, well, well, look at all of these Heart to Tail enthusiasts out there! My old boy, Rascal, a stubborn as a mule beaggle has quite the discerning palate. Now don’t misunderstand me, he didn’t snub his nose at Heart to Tail per se, but let’s just say they didn’t make it onto his top treat list either.

Believe it or not, our Rascal goes absolutely bananas for Farmer’s Market Chicken & Sweet Potato Jerky. Claims to have all-natural ingredients and grain-free – plus its size is perfect for his little chompers. Price wise? You might want to sit down for this one, becuase they’re not exactly cheap. But hey! At least you know your pup’s munching on something good.

But everyone’s taste varies right? Any other doggos out there have some hidden gourmet tastes we should know about? Let’s expand our horizons beyond Heart to Tail!

Oh, how I can relate to all of you fellow Heart to Tail fans! My stubborn little Shih Tzu, Muffin, won’t set paws on anything but these treats now. I was initially taken in by the pocket-friendly price and natural ingredients list. But trust me, Muffin’s love for these treats is something else. She literally does a little dance every time she hears the bag rustling!

Heart to Tail treats are perfectly sized for her tiny mouth and somehow extremely durable – a single treat keeps her occupied for a good while (quite a feat, considering how quickly she usually devours things!). However, do keep an eye on your doggos folks. Remember that although they are made with care, like all dog treats, not every ingredient suits every pup out there. Always introduce a new treat gradually and watch for any strange reactions or behaviour. If anything seems off, it’s worth consulting your vet over it.

Isn’t it amazing how dogs just know what they love? These days Muffin is working extra hard on her tricks, knowing there’s a Heart to Tail treat at the end of it! Has anyone else seen their dogs up their game after switching to these treats as well?

Well, we tried Heart to Tail too for our Great Dane, Bruno. As much as the natural ingredients appealed to me, Bruno seems to have a different opinion. He sniffed it once and then completely lost interest. The smaller size of these treats also didn’t seem to attract this large fella as much as the grossly oversized ones from other brands do. So, if you have a larger dog that loves monster-sized treats like Bruno does, you might want to consider options with larger proportions. We switched over to Old Mother Hubbard’s Large dog biscuits which are not only big in size but are also filled with all-natural ingredients. A win-win- Bruno happy, mom happy! Any other suggestions for natural large-size treats?

Oh, I’m totally with you guys! Funny story – my Labrador, Daisy, is the pickiest eater on the planet. Nothing could tempt her until we tried Heart to Tail treats. The natural ingredients in it were definitely a plus! But what do you folks do about the size? Daisy has a hard time breaking them into bite-sized pieces. Has anyone tried breaking them up before giving them to your pups? Might this mess with the nutritional values? Always wondered.

I’ve always been a fan of Heart to Tail dog treats for my Golden Retriever, Sandy. Given her size, the treats are perfect—not too small, not too large—and she absolutely adores them! The price is also quite reasonable considering they’re all-natural. Once I left a treat out, and when I came back home, I found it where I left it—durable indeed!

In my opinion, introducing these treats gradually is the best approach if your dog is new to natural ingredients. That’s what worked for us. tho, if you notice any significant changes in your pet’s behavior or health condition after switching, do consider consulting a vet—it could be an allergy that you’re not aware of.

Has anyone tried Heart to Tail’s other flavors? Sandy loves the peanut butter & honey ones, and I am thinking about trying the chicken flavor next.

Just reading about your experiences with Heart to Tail treats! I’ve also got a Lab, old Jasper, who’s similarly fussy about his treats. We tried Heart to Tail, and while he liked them initially, it seems he got bored of the taste after a while which is a bit disappointing given they aren’t exactly cheap.

Instead, I have switched him to Billy’s Best Bites – they work a charm for him, mainly because there’s a bigger range of flavors. If you’re considering trying something new, they could be worth checking out? But of course, every dog is different and it’s all about finding what makes their tail wag!

Have any of you tried Billy’s Best Bites or anything similar? Also curious how often are your fur babies getting treats? Jasper’s really good at using those puppy eyes to convince me he deserves one more!

Totally agree with everyone here on the Heart to Tail treats, they really stepped up thier game. I’ve been using them for my Springer Spaniel, Charlie, for a good few years now. For him, the size of these snacks are perfect – he’s not a huge dog but he definitely has a big appetite!

To anyone new trying them out, jsut remember that even if they’re natural, moderation is still key. Last thing you want is an overfed pooch. Also, I find it helpful to use them for training, they’re just the right size and Charlie can’t resist em!

Just wondering though, does anyone else’s fur buddy take awhile to adjust to them? Charlie didn’t care much for them the first couple times.

By the way, always consult with your vet about your dog’s dietary needs if you have any doubts or see changes in their behavior.
