Yeah, totally with you on this one. Iams Dry Dog Food has been nothing short of miraculous for my picky eater too. Somehow they’ve got this knack of sizing the kibble just right – not too big, not too small, Goldilocks would have swapped her porridge for it.

Now let’s talk price. For what you get, it’s insane. In a good way, of course! My wallet isn’t constantly weeping and that always scores bonus points in my book. Now here’s a funny happenstance – the other day, in a bout of amnesia, I picked up another brand (the budget was tight okay). Well guess who flatly refused dinner? Yep, Sir Woofsalot preferred to go to bed on an empty stomach than dare lower his standards!

Just out of curiosity tho, how long did it take for your pup to adjust to the new food? And did you mix it in with the old food first?

I’ve also had some good experiences with Iams Dry Dog Food. When I first started feeding this to my Border Collie, she was a little unsure about the size of the kibbles. However, she quickly got used to them and now looks forward to meal times even more than before.

What impressed me the most, besides its affordability, is its durability in terms of staying fresh up until the last scoop from the bag – quite a feat especially considering that these dry food bags can last a long while. The packaging quality is decent and doing its job nicely!

Just a tip for fellow dog lovers trying out this food: When switching your pup’s diet, remember to introduce any new type of food gradually to avoid upsetting their stomachs. Mix it with their old food initially and increase the proportion of new food over time.

How are your dogs handling the smaller size of these kibbles, peeps? Have you noticed any changes in their eating habits or favorite aspects since the introduction? Let’s discuss! Remember though, for any drastic changes or concerns you might have, always consult with your vet as every pupper is unique and reacts differently to dietary alteration!

Absolutely! I’m also a big fan of Iams Dry Dog Food. I’ve been using it for my Labrador, Benny, for about three years now – he just can’t get enough of the chicken flavor, plus his coat has never been this shiny in our 11 years together. Dr Jeremiah, my local vet, appreciates its simple annd healthy ingredients – he even gave me the okay on it during our last visit. However, remember folks, always check with your vet before switching your fur buddy’s food altogether. They all have different dietary needs after all! Is anyone else’s doggo as enamored with the chicken flavor as Benny is?

Totally agree with you folks on the love for Iams Dry Dog Food. I’ve personally been a fan ever since our family’s energetic Aussie, Dexter, refused anything else we presented to him – quite the fussy eater he was! He simply loves his kibbles and it’s a joy to see him attack his food bowl each time. I found that it’s great value for money too especially when you consider the quality ingredients they use and the serving size needed. For newcomers, I suggest introducing the food gradually over a week or so just so your pup gets accustomed to its new diet. Also, remember that every dog is unique so keep an eye out for any changes in appetite or behavior while switching food – consult a vet if in doubt!

Has anyone tried the Iams Proactive Health line? Curious to know what your pups think of those flavors!

It’s always nice to hear about others having success with Iams Dry Dog Food. For me and my Boston Terrier, Skippy, we found ourselves on team Hill’s Science Diet. They offer great breed-specific formulas, which really help me feel confident in what I am feeding Skippy. The smaller size kibble is easier for him to digest as well.

Interestingly, I initially used Iams for a while too but ultimately changed after experimenting a bit- Skippy is picky! Have any of you guys tried Hill’s Science Diet? or perhaps have some tips on managing a picky eater? I’m always open to new ideas especially when it comes to keeping my little guy happy.

Totally agree with you folks about the positive experiences with Iams Dry Dog Food. My Border Collie, Sparky, has been enjoying it for almost 6 years now. I remember how she used to be finicky with food until we tried Iams. The kibble size is perfect for her, and I appreciate the value-for-price aspect too.

However, there were a few times the bag we got was slightly damaged during delivery, albeit the dog food inside was alright. Maybe it’s just a minor packagingissue that they need to address in the future. Even so, Sparky’s experience has overall been really good with this food – she seems happy and lively as ever!

It’s always best though to consult your vet before making any drastic changes to your pup’s diet since every dog has unique nutritional needs. What kind of noticeable changes did you guys see in your fur-babies after switching to Iams? Let’s keep this conversation going!

Couldn’t agree more about the benefits of Iams Dry Dog Food. It’s been a staple in my house ever since I adopted Max, my spunky Jack Russel, and I’ve noticed noticable improvements in his coat and energy levels. Plus, the small kibble size is perfect for his little jaws. Don’t even get me started on the value for price – absolutely unmatchable! A one-time caution though, always introduce new food gradually to your furry friends’ diet to prevent any sudden digestive issues. How did your pups react during the transition period? Any particular tips you’d like to share?

It’s great hearing so many positive experiences with Iams Dry Dog Food. My Cocker Spaniel has been on it for about 2 years now and she’s thriving! She loves the taste and her coat is glossy as ever. I’ve also appreciated the fact that they offer different varieties to cater to the dietary needs of different breeds and ages. Has anyone tried transitioning from the puppy to adult variety? Any tips on how to make the switch without disrupting my pup’s routine too much would be a great help. Always worth it to double check with your vet too before making big changes.

Absolutely love Iams Dry Dog Food over here as well! My Golden Retriever, Max, has been a picky eater since his puppy days and finding the right kibble was a real challenge. But the moment I introduced him to Iams, there was no looking back. He wolfs it down with such gusto that it’s a delight to witness. Plus, the smaller kibble size works perfectly for him too, especially since he has a tendency to gulp down his meal so quickly. Although the price tag is a little higher compared to other brands in the supermarket aisle, seeing Max happy and energetic is totally worth every penny. For anyone having trouble with their picky eaters, I highly recommend giving Iams a try! But always remember each dog is unique – if health concerns arise despite switching foods, definitely consult with your vet.

Absolutely agree with these positive comments about Iams! We’ve been using it with our Bichon Frise, Bonnie, for a good few years now. She’s always been quite petite and picky about her food, but she seems to really enjoy the small size kibble from this brand. Plus, her coat has never looked better – not that you’d expect anything less from a Bichon!

However, I’m curious: has anyone tried mixing in some wet food with the Iams dry food? I’ve read it can provide a bit of variety and make mealtimes more enticing for finicky eaters. Although Bonnie hasn’t shown signs of boredom yet, I’d love to hear experiences or recommendations for good wet dog food to mix with the Iams dry one we’re currently using. Always good to keep things interesting for our furry friends!

Actually, I had a rather neutral experience with Iams Dry Dog Food. I have to admit, the size of the kibble was perfect for my tiny Chihuahua’s small mouth and she seemed to find it pretty tasty as well. However, her preference did ultimately lean towards wet food over time. Whilst there’s no denying that this product is of good quality and decently priced, suppose just like us humans, our furbabies have thier own individual preferences. My two cents would be to always keep in mind to monitor your dog’s reaction/taste for new types foods or diets. After all, they can’t express their likes and dislikes in words!

I wholeheartedly echo the positive sentiments towards Iams Dry Dog Food. As a pet parent to a rather finicky Cocker Spaniel for the last 10 years, I’ve tried numerous brands to match her discerning palate. Eventually we landed on Iams and haven’t looked back! Plus, I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t burn a hole in my wallet especially compared to some of the more gourmet suggestions. Just out of curiosity – has anyone noticed any changes in their dog’s coat or energy levels since switching to Iams? My Cocker seems more energetic but could be due to multiple factors. Always good though to consult with your vet for sure!

Couldn’t agree more with the love for Iams Dry Dog Food! We’ve been feeding it to our pug for a good 3 years now. The small kibble size is just right for his little mouth, and we’ve noticed his coat looks shinier too. One tip I learned along the way was introducing a new food gradually over several days by mixing it in with their old food, to help them adjust. This really helped when we first switched over. But as always, if you have concerns about your dog’s diet do check in with your vet.
