MemberHave to agree with some previous posts that the designs are beautful. Matches well with most interior decor – it’s like my Buddy has his own designer furniture. 😀 Also found the cover ridiculously easy to remove and clean – lifesaver after a muddy park misadventure!
One little tip if you’re thinking of getting one: measure your dog while they’re sleeping so you really get the right size. Trust me, they’ll thank you for it.
Anyone else have positive experiences with their Pendleton? Or does anyone know any alternative that matches its quality?
Cheers!

MemberHas anyone else noticed this or did I just get a dud? On the other hand, can anyone suggest an equally comfy but more robust alternative? Don’t want Auggie missin his luxury naps while we sort this out! 🐶💤

MemberBut to answer your question, no, I haven’t noticed any issue at all. Could possibly be you got a less-than-perfect one? It’s not always an exact science with these things, ya know?
Just for full disclosure though – I do tend to wash the cover pretty regularly. Might be making a difference to longevity? Also anyone out there have similar experiences or maintenance tips? How often are you guys washing yours?

MemberHate to hear you’ve had issues with your Pendleton; could be a dud as you suggested? reaches out for virtual hug You might want to consider reaching out to customer service to see if they can sort things out?
Anyway, any other dog owners facing the same issue or we have a rare iceberg here?

MemberJust wanna throw my two cents in. I’ve had my Pendleton bed for like, 3 years or so? My Golden Retriever has been loving it since day one. The best part I’d say is the step-in style of the bed – makes it super easy for her to get in and out even as she’s gotten older and a bit arthritic.
I guess it’s possible that a dud could slip through the manufacturing process and end up in someone’s hands like yours (sorry to hear, by the way), but from my experience, they are crazy durable and comfy for dogs. I’ve washed the cover god knows how many times and it’s still going strong, no tearing or anything. YMMV but our Pendleton was worth every penny.
And hold on –– does anyone else’s dog do that excited wriggling thing when they hit the bed or is just mine?

Memberguys, I’ve got an 8-year-old Golden retriever at home that absolutely adores his Pendleton bed. The comfort and cozy level? Top notch, no argument there. The design is also quite stylish and fits well with our interior decors. However after a year of use, i’m starting to notice some wear and tear, especially on the corners where Sam (my doggo) likes to chew. Maybe it’s just my guy being a heavy chewer, but has anyone else had this problem? Perhaps any tips on how to make these beds last longer? I really don’t want to switch brands cause Sam’s in love with this one.
