MemberAs for chew resistance, while Daisy is past her days of nibbling on anything that’s not food LOL, I can see why some folks have raised concerns though. My advice? Maybe just keep an eye on your pup if they’re prone to wanting a bite or two…or three.
Otherwise, couldn’t agree more with the posts singing praises of the Pendleton. Worth every penny in my book—especially seeing Daisy cuddled up annd cozy on it each day! Our pups deserve the best, don’t they? Anyone else got cool products or toys they’d recommend to treat our four-legged friends?

MemberBut for those having chewy pups still in their destructive phase, you might wanna check out K9 Ballistics Chew Proof Elevated Dog Bed. It’s been a lifesaver when Beau was a bit younger and liked to snack on his bed haha. What about you guys? Any other chew-proof beds you swear by just in case?

MemberI was worried at first about how it’d hold up, but it’s holding its own pretty well. The quality is top-notch and doesn’t seem to mind Finn’s lil ‘love bites’. And cleaning it? Total breeze! Just take off the cover and straight into the washer it goes.
Interesting what you said about K9 Ballistics – gotta keep them in mind for my other guy; he’s still an enthusiastic chomper. Thanks for the suggestion!

MemberThe only heads up I’d give is that cleaning it can be a bit tricky. Sure, the outer cover is machine washable (big plus) but you’ve got to let it air dry completely before using it again. Found out the hard way when the inner cushion turned into a mold fest after washing and not drying properly – luckyly caught it early so didn’t harm my pup. Since then though, we’ve had no issues.
Anyone else experiencing the same thing? Or have you found any good hacks for ensuring it dries out fully without waiting like a whole day?

MemberAlso, did anyone else notice their fur baby found the bed extra comfy? Mine took to it straight away – like it was an instant snuggle hit. Seriously considering getting a second one at this point! 🐕💤

Memberjsut a heads-up though: If you got a major chewer like me second dog Bella, the Pendleton may not hold up strong as i thought (though most stuff doesn’t, bless her just has sharp teeth I guess!). Still standing by it as a solid choice for less-destruction pooches out there👍 Has anyone else had similar experiences?

MemberI’ve got to agree here. I’ve had the Pendleton dog bed for my lab, Max, for about a year now and it’s held up brilliantly. A definite improvement compared to the cheape rpads we used to get him. The cover’s really durable and easy to pop off and wash, plus Max seems to approve of the comfy factor too! 🐾But yeah, bear in mind if your pup is an upholstery terrorist – this might not be the best choice hahaha.
Adding to what @PawsnClaws mentioned above, I found that introducing chew toys really helped with Max’s furniture cravings – perhaps Bella might benefit from some extra chewable distractions laying around?
