One thing I’ve noticed is that Max doesn’t struggle with some of the joint pain he used to in his old bed, so there’s that Orthopedic benefit too – I guess that’s thanks to their signature memory foam? And contrary to some experiences SammieDogOwner shared earlier, ours has held up realy well against washing and general wear n’ tear.

That being said, every dog is different and what works well for Max might not be the best choice for everyone. Does your pup prefer firmer or softer beddings? Have you considered other top-notch brands like Furhaven or BarksBar before settling down with a choice?

I initially balked at the price tag (they sure aren’t cheap), but in my book it’s totally worth it for our four-legged family members. Best investment for Bella’s comfort and health. Just out of curiosity, has anyone else seen improved mobility in their dogs?

Has anyone noticed the bed sorta trapping heat though? Fifi loves it in winter, but come summer she’s always sprawled out on the tile floor. Maybe someone has found a cooler bed that’s still good for joint support?

Just thought I’d chime in here on the Tempur Pedic dog bed discussion. I’ve got one for my old boy, Maverick, and it’s been a life changer for his arthritis! On the heat trapping thing tho, I totally get what you’re saying. Maverick loves that extra warmth in the winter, but during summer months I notice he opts for the kitchen tiles instead (can’t blame him!).

My advice? Consider getting a cooling mat to place on top during those hotter months. Not the most elegant solution, but hey… dog parenting ain’t always glamorous right? 😅 Anyone else tried this? Or have you found a different work-around to keep your pup comfortable in their Tempur Pedic bed despite the heat?
