there! I joined the Tuft n Needle dog bed club too, a couple of months ago. Totally worth it, I got to say. My labrador Biscuit has never been comfier – she hogs it all day and doesn’t even want to jump on our sofa anymore, haha! The removable cover is a dream when it comes to clean-up time, super handy especially with ‘shedding season’ right around the corner.

One thing I noticed tho, is that the sides aren’t quite as rigid as they appear in photos. Bit of a letdown if your pup loves a headrest like Biscuit does.

Anybody else found this? Looking for hacks to stiffen them up without messing with the overall comfort. Cheers!

Completely agree here on the ‘worth it’ aspect, investing in quality comfort for our furry buddies is truly important. Always keen to know if they are easy to clean too, as our Benny sometimes enjoys a roll in mud..or two! 😉 Thoughts anyone?

Although just to share an alternative: I also bought a cheaper bed before committing to Tuft n Needle, from a brand called Furhaven. It was surprisingly decent too and might be worth considering if anyone’s on a tighter budget but still looking for some quality comfort for their pups. Agreeing with all ya – we gotta do what’s best for our four-legged fam, right?

Has anyone tried adding a heating pad under these beds during winter? Wondering how the material will hold up.

So, you finally made the jump to Tuft and Needle, huh? I’ve been eyeballing it for my old lab, Max, because he’s got joint issues and I heard that these give great support. Did you notice a big difference compared to cheaper beds? And how does it hold up after a good ol’ fashioned dog dig, you know what mean? Like when your pooch is trying to make a nest before lying down.

Typos be damned – making that upgrade was an expensive move for me! 😅

So basically, agreeing with pretty much all previous posts here. For anyone on the fence about this bed, jsut get it…your dog (and your sleep schedule) will thank you! One last tip: make sure you measure your dog well before ordering – we had to exchange ours because we underestimated how much space our lab needed to properly stretch out.

Has anyone else experienced exceptional durability with these beds as well? Just curios because my corgi mix is even tougher on beds than our lab and considering getting one for him too.

But coming to cleanliness, how are you all managing? My boys do leave quite a mess sometimes. Any tips for tackling those not-so-cherry-on-top moments?

And yeah, cleanliness can be a bit of an issue, especially if your little furballs are anything like mine. But what I found was that Tuft and Needle beds are surprisingly easy to clean! Spot cleaning gets rid of most stains fairly quickly.

Something else I’ve been trying is adding a blanket on top to catch most of the dirt. When it gets dirty, simply toss it in the wash. Does anyone else do this or have any other tips? By the way, absolutely no regrets getting this bed!

I’ve had decent luck with a lint roller for some of the hair but when it comes to bigger messes, are we talking machine washable here? Or am I going to have some spot-treating in my future? Would appreciate any tips from veteran T&N dog bed owners here!

For those bigger messes you mentioned, I’ve found that spot-cleaning works in a pinch. Just a gentle detergent mixed with warm water does the trick. Also, try picking up any solids ASAP to prevent deep stains. We’re all seasoned pup-parents here, cleaning up after them is part of deal lol.

As for the fur situation, apart form the lint roller you could even try using rubber gloves – the type you use for washing dishes. I know it sounds strange but they work brilliantly at picking up stray hairs when dry! yah gotta rub slightly to create friction and voila! A fur-free bed (for like… an hour until your doggo takes another nap 😅). Has anyone else tried this simple hack or am I alone on this one?
