But remember, every dog is different, if your buddy has certain dietary needs or allergies, don’t hesitate to ask your vet for advice. Can’t ignore the breed and lifestyle differences either, right? Anyway, thumbs up for Dog Chow from us. Hope it works great for your four-legged family member too!

But let’s be fair here, it’s not all on dog chow. It might just be Truffles being picky. I’ve heard some solid reviews from a few buddies of mine who swear by it for their doggos, even saying it improved their dogs’ coat health. But for us? The jury’s still out.

I suppose one good thing is the price point – definitely on the more affordable side of things, which you don’t always see when you’re looking for quality pet food.

All dogs are different and what works for one might not work for another – kind of like us humans with our love & hate relationship with cilantro, amirite? So yeah, give it a shot if you’re curious mate! Just don’t be too surprised if your pup stages a hunger strike. 😉

Dog Chow has that right balance of nutrients that my boy needs every day, with good proteins, carbs, fibre and even the fatty acids! His coat’s been so much glossier and his energy levels are through the roof since I switched to Dog Chow!

The best part? There are zero artificial additives, so I feel like a responsible dog mom knowing that I’m not pumping unnecessary chemicals into my fur baby.

Only downside – portion sizes need to be watched if your pup is prone to weight gain, ’cause they can’t seem to get enough of this stuff! Anyhoo, hope this helps buddy. Can’t go wrong with Dog Chow – Jackson and his drool pool can vouch for it!

But what I like is that it seems to be filling him up well and supporting his weight maintenance given that labs have a tendency to put on weight. His coat looks shiny and healthier ever since making the switch too! It’s also quite affordable compared to some of the other brands out there which is a big plus.

Of course, this could just be because it works well with Murph’s system – all dogs are different after all. So if you’re thinking about making a switch, I’d say mabye buy a smaller bag first to see how your fur-baby does with it. Good luck with the food hunt!
