MemberJust to throw a wrench in the works though, have you guys considered looking at other brands too? For instance, we also got a bed from “The Dog’s Balls” (don’t laugh!) annd it’s pretty great too! Peanut bounces between the two all the time so maybe it’s worth giving another brand a look-see.
Anyone else tried ‘The Dog’s Balls’? How’s your experience been with thier beds?

MemberAs an additional pointer, keeping these beds clean can be a bit of task – my advice? Grab one of those pet-friendly fabric sprays. It has been a lifesaver for us against Max’s infamous muddy adventures. Has anyone found other effective ways to keep their dog bed smelling fresh?

MemberHowever, I get the convenience appeal of it for our furry friends. One alternative I like better is using elevated dog feeders – it keeps the grub off the floor annd it’s been good for my older pups with joint issues too. Anybody else use something different for feeding time? Just curious!

Membergang, long-time doggie dad here with about evenly mixed experiences. Our corgi mix, Rusty is all over that memory foam in the PetFusion Ultimate Dog Bed. Seriously, he don’t just sleep on it, rather he’s been caught napping, lounging and just generally being lazy on it. In terms of size, we went for large – nothing too gigantic but more than enough real estate for Rustles.
Onto the memory foam – yes! Complete agreeance here especially if your canine companion has hip or joint issues. Been there dealt with that – when our previous collie had an old knee injury flare up again. Having a supportivr bed made a world of difference. Just make sure you size correctly. I’m curious – how’ve others found durability with this thing? We’ve had ours only 6 months and so far so great (apart from some slobber… cue eye-roll).
As one alternative, we also tried the Big Barker Orthopedic bed before but surprisingly Rusty preferred this one. And hey, saves me those extra bucks I can now spend on his favorite chewies instead! Thumbs (and tail) up from us.

MemberCouldn’t hold myself back from jumping int o this discussion lol. We gave our Boxer, Buster, a Brindle bed two years ago and it’s still holding up strong – and trust me, this guy can demolish a chew toy in minutes flat. As for cleaning, I concur wholeheartedly! Those removable covers are a godsend, especially after Buster has had his muddy ‘adventures’ outside. Did we both get lucky with the durability? Mabye, but considering the quality I’m inclined to think that it’s more than jsut luck. For all those who are mad about the price … well, you defintiely get what you pay for with Brindle beds.
Anyone else here tried thier orthopedic beds yet? Buster’s getting on in year s and we’re thinking of upgrading to give his joint some extra cushioning… Would love any feedback or experiences you can share!

MemberI agree it’s a super comfy bed for our fur buddies though, my Golden Retriever absolutely adores hers, she’s snoozing on it as I type this in fact. Have you tried fluffing up the bed by hand post-wash? It realy helps distribute that filling a bit better. Anyhow, despite the minor hiccups love the squishmellow beds! Def Worth every penny.

MemberOn the chewy pup note, really recommend getting one of those chewy resistant sprays. Worked wonders with Bailey when she was younger, and saved quite a few objects around the house too! That being said, kudos to Tempur Pedic – this bed has stood up against all her puppy antics like a champ! Enjoy your snoozing pups folks! 🐶💤

MemberAs for the Costco alternative that you’ve mentioned about, sounds like a good deal! Removable cover is always a plus point with these fur buddies around. Maybe I’ll try that next if Roxy continues to spill out of her current bed, ha!

MemberOh, and yeah, totally second that about the durability of these beds – Mabel dragged hers all over the house but it survived. Worth the investment I’d say!

MemberNow here’s something funny – you ever notice how your puppers sorta avoids any new food or toys introduced? I was half expecting Daisy to snubbed this bed for at least a week! But, heh… she walked right over, give it a sniff, and then bam! Napping within 10 minutes. Any of you have a similar experience or is Daisy just an oddball here? Just curious!

MemberAnybody tried any other L.L. Bean pet products worth looking into?

MemberHowever, what I’ve found is that my big furkid likes flatter and more spread out beds – less sinking in. We tried the Kopeks Orthopedic memory foam bed and he’s been hugging that thing ever since. Maybe if you have bigger breed like ours, you might want to check out these ‘dog mattresses’ they can sprawl all over.
Has anyone else had espereicnes with memory foam mattress-like beds? I sometimes wonder how much of it is down to personal doggie preference.
