MemberThat said, it’s not for everyone. If you’ve got a younger or particularly destructive dog (I’m looking at you, husky owners!) this might not be the best choice. It’s kinda pricy and while Benny can’t really do much damage to his, I reckon a typical frisky puppy might tear this thing up pretty quick.
Cleaning is fine for me – baby wipes are my go-to as well, but if we’re talking BIG messes, dismantling it all for a serious wash can be a bit of a task.
Anyone else used the My Pillow Dog Bed for an older dog with health issues? How’d it go? And does anybody recommend any super durable beds for those of us with chew-happy pups?

MemberCouldn’t agree more, ya gotta keep those meal times consistent, and heck if eating in bed makes ’em happy…why mess with a good thing? Anyone ever tried adding anything special to their doggo’s food while they’re snug in bed? my girl seems to like when I mix in a little bit of pumpkin puree, seems liek it makes it an extra special treat for her. Curious to hear what you guys think?

MemberAnyone else had better luck with theirs holding up or is it just a universal Barney bed thing?

MemberAlso, totally agree with the sizing tip mentioned earlier. When i got my second bed for Max, (went with a plushier one), I barely fit in our living room.. but oh boy, Max has never slept better!
Lasty, keep an eye out for those random sales – sometimes Petsmart has killer deals and… well… More toys for Max 🤷♂️
To end my novel here – get to knwo your pooch’s preferences and you wont goof uup like me 😅.
Stay dogged folks!

MemberAlso gotta agree with whoever mentioned the durability above. My Shep has a habit of tearing up whatever he can sink his teeth into, but he hasn’t been able to make a dent in this bed. Guess all that digging before bedtime doesn’t do much harm! Only minor downside has been that it took him a bit longer to get used to this bed compared to other ones we’ve tried. But once he did – boom!– There’s no going back, haha.
Has anyone found anything similar but at a cheaper price point though? Love everything about the Tuft and Needle but wouldn’t mind saving a few bucks if I can find something equivalent.

MemberMy little tip here is to get a size bigger than what you think you’d need- gives them some nice stretching space. Anyone else found their pups crashin’ way earlier since startin’ on these beds?

MemberMan, do I have a love-hate relationship with that Lands End dog bed. My chonky Golden Retriever, Muffin, adores it. It’s like her personal cloud of comfort. But we had a bit of a fiasco while ordering.
100% in sync with everyone about measuring the bed before ordering. Muffin being a big girl, I intentionally ordered a larger size. However, be warned, folks! They run smaller than advertised! We ended up gifting our first one to my sister’s mini poodle (it fits him perfectly!). So yeah, got to roll with those punches sometimes, haha! But hey, you live and learn!
On an alternative note though, if anyone’s got a large breed like mine, you might want to look into Big Barker beds. A friend recommended it after our petite debacle – they’re specifically designed for heavier dogs and sizes are spot-on. Any of you tried them? Love to hear your thoughts.
Safe woofs & wags,

MemberThough if we’re talking alternaitves, anyone gave a thought to the Snoozer Cozy Cave? It’s not as soft as the Sheri but it does offer that covered design, real hit with digs liking small spaces or covers, ya know? 😉 What you folks think about it?

MemberMy bruno used to constantly chew through his beds before we invested on a Yeti one. As Said before, the durability of these Yetti beds are just unmatchable – Bruno hasn’t even put a dent in his and we’ve ahd it nearly six months now. Plus, cleanup’s also super easy thanks to that removable cover.
Just curious if anyone else have their pups use this outside? Our backyard’s all paved so Bruno doesn’t have grass to lay on when he’s out there. Was thinking the Yeti could be a solution but not sure how well it holds up outdoors?
