MemberI just bought the Yeti dog bed about 3 months ago for my Rottweiler, who’s a notorious bed chewer. True that it held up well compared to other beds but not sure if it’s worth the hefty price tag. Anyone else feel the same? Or maybe I’m missing somethng about thsi bed??? (’cause my pooch certainly doesn’t seem any comfier!).
Any observations would help! Oh, and also, are there any chew-proof alternatives that won’t burn a hole in my wallet?

Memberguys, I can definitely see where you’re coming from about how easily washable the Furhaven cover is, my Lab just seems to find every mud puddle in existence. And that unapologetic “what?” look when she comes in filthy – priceless. The “chocolate cover” certainly helps hide the dirt between washes. I still remember using lighter colored bed covers and… let’s just say it wasn’t pretty at all!`
Here’s a curveball though – have any of you tried out Coolaroo Elevated Pet Bed? It’s perfect for summer use and cleaning it is a breeze too, literally hose it down and you’re good. Just offering an alternative perspective 🙂

MemberAs an alternative though, have any of you tried out the Coolaroo Elevated Pet Bed? It keeps my fur-babies cool even on the hottest days and’s extremely durable too – no bite marks yet! Worth giving a shot if heating’s a concern. Would love to hear your thoughts on this one.

MemberThe bed is just so darn soft, and I think what really makes it work is that it shapes around them – kinda like an inviting warm cuddle. Keep in mind though, it mighj not be for every dog out there. Benny loves his coziness, but my younger terrier tends to overheat in softer beds and prefers something a bit more ‘breathable’. Go figure, right?
Has anyone tried the squishmallows bed with a breed known for loving cooler sleeping spots? Just curious how they found it.

MemberMy one minor gripe about the bed would be its size – it didn’t slot into Bailey’s favorite corner as snug as his previous ones. But overall, totally worth every penny.
If you’re looking for something similar but smaller, might I suggest checking out BarksBar Gray Orthopedic Dog Bed. It’s another that Bailey took fondly to. Doesn’t hurt to keep your options open and see what your fur baby likes best, right? 🐾

MemberAny tips for dealing with pups who kinda want to turn their new Yeti into a giant chew toy? Mine’s been eying it since we got it… gonna get him some tough chew toys today, open for more suggestions though.

MemberNow don’t get me wrong- if you have younger dogs or dogs who don’t have joint issues then the human dog bed from Costco is a perfectly fine choice. thier quality can’t be discounted either, bought one for my daughter’s terrier annd he seems to love it – very comfortable and spacious indeed! But if supportive sleep is your priority, then consider the orthopedic variants!
And as far as comfort goes – well isn’t our furkids happiness genuinely infectious? So funy when Murphy started dreaming all twitching and waggin’ on his new bed within mere minutes of landing on it! Best pawchase this year for sure 😉👌 Anybody else tried other non-traditional pet bedding solutions? Would love to hear some other thoughts!

MemberOn an alternative note, we swapped to a Bully bed and it’s been much better – firmer foam & seems more durable. Anyone else tried these? Might be worth looking into if your pupper is a larger breed like mine!
