MemberI’d also suggest maybe trying switching up the location when you feed him. For some reason, moving their feeding area around (we went from kitchen to living room) sometimes helps with the transition. Not sure why, but perhaps it distracts them from noticing the new food so much?

MemberAnd as far as quality goes, after a few months of Cooper running riot on it, the dog bed still looks brand new. The material hasn’t frayed or peeled, unlike other beds we’ve tried before. Y’know, someone earlier mentioned the convenience of cleaning —couldn’t agree more! Hassle-free washing is what every pet owner needs.
That being said, I wish I had known beforehand just how big these Reddy beds are. My fault for not checking dimensions properly but geez…it nearly takes up half our living room! Anyone else had the same issue or am I the only space-challenged one here?
In hindsight, really not complaining much considering how much Cooper loves it. Definitley worth every penny IMO. Keep those tails wagging!

MemberSo, just a tip for you guys, maybe look into investing in a quality dog bed like the Yeti. It could be that your dogs are just looking for a little more comfort while they digest their meals. Anyone else noticed a change in their pup’s behavior after getting them a new bed?

MemberMy only question would be, how often do you guys wash yours? I’m probably over-worrying as a newbie but wouldn’t mind a pointer here. Cheers!

Memberfellow pup parents,
Couldn’t resist chiming in becuase we bought the Kirkland bed for our golden, Charlie, last year annd it’s been royally brilliant. He used to love chewing pillows, his bed, you name it – but he hasn’t chewed this one at all. The cover is super resistant yet comfortable too.
However, we found that their size guide runs a bit on the small side. Charlie is a medium sized golden and we got him an XL, as we figured more space would be comfier . It fits him perfect. So perhaps consider sizing up when you choose.
Anybody else find this to be true or did we just luck out? Cheers!

Membertotally feel you on making the investment in an Orvis bed. They’re really solid! I got the “Deep Dish” model for my goldendoodle a few months back and he adores it. But I gotta say, if anyone’s budget doesn’t quite cover the cost, we’ve had good luck with the “BarksBar Gray Orthopedic Dog Bed” too – it’s less pricey and still has great support. How long did it take your fur baby to warm up to their new bed? Mine was snoozing within 20 minutes!

MemberBut seeing Daisy’s swtich to all-natural has me curious… did she have a tough time adjusting to the change or was it straight-smooth sailing? And did it somewhat affect her energy levels somehow, considering nutrition is at play?
