I’ll tell yah though, these beds are pricy. Worth it for sure if you’re dealing with a serial chewer – they really hold up and save you buying a new one every other month. Anyone out there found any deals or sales on them lately?

Tip: Get the waterproof cover if you’re goona buy the bed. You never know with these lads when an accident might happen or they decide it’s their new chew toy lol!
Anyone else here has a giant breed who’s tried the Big Barker? Curious to know your thoughts!

Went a similar route with PetSmart Orthopedic – bit pricier, but Max loved it instantly. He’s a large breed annd needs that extra support. Totally worth considering if your pooch is on the bigger side or has any joint issues!

I guess every dog’s different, right? Has anyone else had a better experience with the IKEA bed? mabye I just didn’t break it in enough… or maybe Max is just picky! 🤷‍♀️

Does anyone else’s dog like their bed this much too or is mine just crazy head over tail about it? Also, if we ever needed another one (fingers crossed that’s not for awhile thoguh), does anyone know where I’d find the best price? We originally got ours from Costco, but I nabbed it during a sale event. Just wondreing in case I spot a deal somewhere. :]

in reply to: Researching the Perfect Sleep: Barney Dog Bed Review! #4022

I’ve got the Barney Dog Bed for about 4 months now and I’d say it’s a huge hit with my golden retriever, Max. He used to constantly move around at night, but ever since we got this bed, he sleeps through the night! The high-density memory foam it comes with has been perfect for him, especially since he’s had joint problems in his old age. Its machine-washable feature is a life-saver too!

Although I did notice the price tag is on the steeper side, 100% worth it for my furry buddy. Anyone else out there tried out other similar beds? mabye something a little lighter on the wallet? Just curious!

in reply to: Just Bought a Pendleton Dog Bed: Here’s My Review #5703

Totally get what you’re saying about the Pendleton dog bed. I picked one up for my golden retriever last year and honestly, she’s never been happier. It’s stylish but not over-the-top, and dat built-in memory foam… let’s just say it’s done wonders for her aging joints haha.

Where I kinda disagree is on the price point – personally, I found it a bit steep. But when you factor in the quality and how long it lasts compared to cheaper beds, it seems worth it in the long run.

One thing I’ve stumlbled upon – quite literally! – if your pup tends to chew or scratch a lot, watch out. The cover can handle some wear and tear but isn’t exactly chewing-proof. Maybe try to curb those behaviors while you’re using this bed?

I wonder how others have dealt with this? Any training tips or tricks would be awesome!

in reply to: Why I’m Trading My Sofa for a Bedsure Dog Bed #4196

A quick tip that might help extend your bed life: Rotate it every now and then, so your pup isn’t always lying on the same spot. Just like how we flip our mattresses at home! Maybe even consider an alternative like a cooling mat or even hammock beds for summer? Keeps ’em cool and lasts longer from my experience.

Anyone else tried any of these tips or has other tricks for extending their Bedsure Dog Bed’s life?

    – Just another doting dog dad

On a side note though, if anyone’s having trouble with their dog taking to the bed (Bailey wasn’t too convinced at first!), try putting some of their favorite blankets or toys on it. That way, it’ll smell like them and can really help ’em settle in quicker.

Has anyone tried any of the other colors? Wondering how the gray variant holds up with muddy paw prints… Bailey sure loves her after-walk dig adventures!

Although I completely get the love for the Ugg bed, anyone else notice it’s a bit on the pricey side? That’s why we rotate Mojo’s bedding between this and the far cheaper Furhaven Pet Dog Bed which he equally loves. It’s got orthopedic foam for extra support if your fur friend like mine has joint issues.

Just something to consider 😊 Also, any tips on cleaning the Ugg bed? The removable cover isn’t quite as “easy wash” as promosed.

So right on point about small dogs feeling more secure in smaller beds! My Shih Tzu, Bella, absolutely loves her snug little PetSmart bed. It’s comfy and just the right size for her. It’s just like their own tiny ‘room’, isn’t it?

However, some types of dog beds are better suited than others depending on your puppers’ preferences. If they love to feel snuggled or get a little anxious sometimes, I’d recommend a donut bed from PetSmart. It has raised edges that can help them feel contained and relaxed.

And in case you’ve got an older pooch with arthritis or joint issues, orthopedic beds can give them some relief. Just remember to think about what will make your pup the most comfrtable not just the aesthetic.

Which ones have you guys tried and what’s your furbabies’ verdict? 🙂

in reply to: Discovering Comfort with the Tuft and Needle Dog Bed #4346

I see that some of you are using calming spray on the beds — we tried that too, but turns out ol’ Rocky isn’t really into those scents. Instead, what worked for us was mixing up routines: taking him for a longer walk just before introducing the new bed, getting him all good and tired…and maybe throwing in a few biscuits didn’t hurt! 😉

Anyone else had success with this method? Or any other tricks you used to get your doggie settled into their new TUft & Needle throne?

A handy tip: Err on the side of caution and, if unsure of the perfect fit, go a size up rather than down. Correct me if I’m wrong but is there an Orvis size guide available online perhaps? Could use one for future references 🤔
