  • I had a similar issue where we were going through beds like crazy because he’d either destroy them or they’d lose their fluffiness in no time. But I’ve noticed with this one, even after several washes, the bed has retained its shape and softness.

However, I must admit that it is on a bit pricier side tho’.. Anyone here found good deals on these? Or perhaps an affordable alternative that holds up as well? Excited to hear your ideas!

But here is what’s bugging me though… Do you guys find the cover washing instructions just a tad too complicated? It’s like solving the da Vinci code trying to wash that thing, ya know? Lol. I mean, it’s not too much of a hassle but every once in a while, you’d love an easier chore to deal with. Any one got some advice on that?

Recently I tried spraying some calming substances you can find at pet stores on the new bed, and well… let’s just say that was the first night she slept fully settled in her new Tuft bed. So, for those whose pups are resistin’ like mine did, maybe give this little trick a try? And for all you seasoned pup parents out there – any more tips to help Roxy love her new bed even more?

everyone, just jumping in here to say my pooch loves his Pendleton dog bed! It’s got this super comfy memory foam that keeps him cozy as all get out. He used to always be shuffling around at night trying to find a comfortable spot, but now he climbs into his Pendleton and he’s out like a light.

They are little pricey on the upfront, but honestly? Worth every penny considering the qaulity and how well they hold up. And not to mention they are pretty stylish too. Matches our living room decor purfectly. Anyone else feel the same?

Which pattern of Pendleton dog bed did you guys go with and does your fido love it as much as mine does?

For those still considering it, it might be a bit pricey but definitely worth every penny. It’s helped a lot with Mixie’s digestion too and I believe a good night (or day) sleep has contributed to that!

Has anyone else noticed a difference abcot their dog’s eating habits since getting the Yeti? Just curious if others have seen similar changes.

Deffo get why lots of you rave about the Petco bed, specially if your pooches are loving it. I picked up one for Benny, my Golden Retriever a while back, but he just didn’t seem to take to it much. Benny’s more of a Snoozer Cozy Cave dog bed kinda guy – can’t resist crawling inside that snuggly pocket! Guess each woofer has their own bed preferences eh? Any of you had similar experiences?

Totally agree with Jacks! When I first brought a Kevlar bed for my German Shepard, Mika, it sat untouched in the corner for a good week. I guess she was just testing my patient haha. But when she finally did make the switch, there was no going back as if se had an epiphany that dog sleeping comfort can be taken to another level!

And bonus points for its durability. The Kevlar material has stood up like a champ against her infamous scratching and digging bed-prep routine. Yes, it’s bit on the pricy side but consider all those beds we’ve thrown away over the years due to tear and wear, in long run you actually end up saving money.

So yeah, anyone contemplating getting one of these for thier pups, give it time. Your dog might take awhile to ajust but trust me the transtion is worth it. Anyone else found this true? Does your dog also took some time before falling in love with their kevlar bed?

in reply to: Why the PetFusion Ultimate Dog Bed is My Go-To #5502

all, first-time poster but long-standing lurker here. I gotta say, we have a totally different experience with the PetFusion bed. Got one for our boxer, Daisy about 6 months ago and she loves it to bits! Quite literally…hehe.

The thick memory foam base really seems to be great on her old joints. The bolsters were loved too, perfect for chin rests during daytime dozes. However, it quickly became a chew toy so now its more of a flat fluff rectangle. :’D

But despite that, it was far easier to clean than previous beds we’ve tried – washable cover is such life-saver! Somehow Daisy’s mess doesn’t stick around like it used to on other fabric.

Personally I’m eyeing off some durable beds with more chew-resistant features next though – any recommendations? Ringo-2811, you said before this bed seemed tough enough for your lab mix even after 2 years? What’s your secret!? Maybe Daisy is indeed just a tough chewer. 🤔

Regardless, dosen’t take away from the fact that the sleep quality for Daisy definitely improved with PetFusion bed when compared to regular ones from pet stores. If you have an easy-going pupper who isn’t heavy on chewing, this could be perfect!

Also @dogmomma16, totally get your point about declaring it “their spot” – Took my Milo a good week before he stopped trying to climb on the couch 🙄 Speaking of which, any tips on how to make the transitioning smoother?

And lastly…ever tried flipping the Brindle bed over? Seems silly but Milo seems to enjoy both sides 🤷‍♂️ Just a thought. Anyways…happy tails and sweet dreams to all the pups out there!

So my question is this: has anyone devised a good cleaning strategy for these Ugg beds that doesn’t involve a trip to the professional cleaners? Looking for tips cause Peaches loves to bring her food over to her comfy spot, and well… you know how messy that can end up being. 😅 Maybe some sort of protective cover or liner?

However, if you’re dealing with a chewer like I am (RIP several plush toys), then you might notice some wear n’ tear – my guy managed to create several dents in what supposed to be an indestructible bed! 😅 Overall though, if your dog is more civilised when it comse to chewing and don’t mind spending a bit more, Tempur Pedic’s beds are well worth the investment.

As an alternative, has anyone tried out the FurHaven Orthopedic Dog Bed? It’s another one that’s come highly recommended to me – I’m thinking of getting it as a second bed just so my boy has options around the house. Would love to hear thoughts on how it stacks up against Tempur Pedic!
