Oh, the memories with Wag dry dog food! My dear old Jack Russell, Cooper, was on it for a while. Wasn’t half bad and it’s quite a reasonable price too. Cooper liked the taste, although he’s not what I’d call fussy eater, mind you. But from an owner’s perspective, loved the fact that they had grain-free options which seemed to agree more with Coop’s tummy. jsut remember every pup is different and what worked for Cooper might not bode well for other fur kiddos so it’s always a great idea to monitor them early on when introducing new chow. Also, consult your vet if there are any sudden changes in their behavior or health condition. Happy feeding!

I’ll chime in here – my chessie, Sam, loves Hollywood Stars dog treats too but agreed they are pretty massive for smaller pups. I usually break them into smaller pieces which seems to do the trick. It’s a bit of extra work but Sam doesn’t seem to mind munching smaller bits annd it means I don’t have to shop for different treats for his size. So maybe try that if you’re feeling like these treats are too big for your fur-baby? As for cost – yeah they’re not the cheapest on the market but in terms of quality, I think they’re worth every penny. Any other folks had luck resizing these without losing thier effectiveness?

My Tiny Terrier’s Take on Dingo Dog Treats

I got into this Dingo Dog Treat hype for my little Yorkie, Oscar. Despite their larger size (which can be a tad overwhelming for tiny jaws), I cut them into smaller pieces and presto, Oscar is head over heels! Gotta say, the price felt a bit steep at first, but seeing Oscar’s enthusiasm changed my mind – definitelly worth every penny. Just be aware of the size before purchasing though, especially if your furry friend is on the smaller side like mine. All in all, these treats seem to be quite durable and not so quickly devoured as others we’ve tried. Anyone else with small dogs who’ve figured out any tricks to make the treats more manageable?

Totally feel the DreamBone love in this thread! My Rottie, Bruno, can be a bit of a picky eater at times, but he never turns down a DreamBone treat. They’re the perfect size for him, not too small or large, and they last quite awhile despite his powerful jaw – which means more enjoyment for my handsome boy. Their price is also pretty decent considering their durability. Just one hiccup tho: Bruno did once lose interest mid-way through a particularly large chew- mabye it got just a bit plain taste-wise? But sure enough, the next day he was right back to gnashing away at it. So all’s well that ends well – even with a hiccup here and there, these treats are still head and paws above the rest of our trials.

How about you guys, any quirks or hiccups with your pups while using DreamBone?

What a roller coaster with these treats! I agree that they’re a bit like ‘boulders.’ My Jack Russel, Milo, is an energetic little guy with an impressive bite, but even he struggled a bit with the size and hardness of the Blue treats. We started breaking them up into smaller pieces which worked better for him. These things definitely seem more durable than a few other brands we’ve tried previously.

As for price, it’s a touch high but considering how long each ‘boulder’ lasts, it actually seems pretty cost-effective in the long run. All in all, not terrible treats but maybe best suited for larger breeds or determined chewers. Anyone else with a small breed have this problem? Or found a way to make these work best for their pup?

Ah, the Applaws saga continues! Don’t get me wrong, I’m all aboard this train too – my old Beagle, Max, can’t get enough of the Applaws lamb flavor. For a dog that’s notoriously picky, it’s been a game changer. On the price-front though, let’s be real guys – it ain’t the cheapest! But I reckon you do get what you’re paying for in terms of quality. Anybody else finding themselves compromising on quantity due to cost? Always curious to know how other fur parents manage this trade-off.

Totally agree with you on the size of the Smokehouse dog treats, they’re just right for our medium-sized fur pals! I’ve been giving these treats to my Cocker Spaniel, Milo, and he can’t seem to get enough. Plus, they’re made from all-natural ingredients which is a relief cause I’m trying to keep his diet as healthy as possible. The only downside I’ve found is the price – it’s a bit steep especially if your pup loves them as much as Milo does. Any tips on where to snag these bad boys on sale? Gotta save those pennies, am I right?

Well now, ain’t this a stroll down memory lane? My fluffy Pomeranian, Fred, also hopped onto the Applaws train about a year ago. Before that, he was quite picky with his kibble. Now, I just shake the Applaws bag and he comes running! Firstly, I appreciate the smaller kibble size – it’s perfect for my little guy. Secondly, the ingredient list isn’t scary or confusing. It’s pretty much wholesome stuff – no long scientific names that make me scratch my head.

One small tip if you’re thinking of switching: don’t rush it! Gradually mix in the new food with your doggo’s current brand so as not to upset their belly. Finally, while there’s indeed a slight increase in price compared to other brands, for me it’s totally worth every penny seeing how Fred cleans up his bowl every time.

Just a reminder though, if your pup shows any signs of being unwell after a switch in food always consult your vet. They are the experts after all!

I have to agree with the positive feedback for Fresh Kisses dog treats. I’ve got a picky eater named Ringo at home who usually turns up his nose at most treats, but not with these! The size and texture seem to be just right for him – he has no issues chewing them, and the price is pretty reasonable too. However, it’s thier durability that really impresses me – Ringo takes his sweet time nibbling on them, so it’s nice to have a treat that lasts!

Oh, and protip: when introducing any new treat, always monitor your pet to ensure they’re not having any adverse reactions. If anything seems off, best take them to your vet. Have your pups tried the mint flavor of Fresh Kisses? Ringo’s pretty keen on it!

Like many of you, I’ve tried Good Lovin’ treats for my Siberian Husky, Luna. She loves them and they’re the perfect size for her – not too small that she could swallow it whole and choke nor too big that chewing becomes a chore. I often use them in her puzzle toy because they are reasonably hardy and don’t crumble into a mess. Price wise, they’re more expensive than some brands but considering their quality, I think they’re worth it. Every time Luna hears the packet rustle, she will dash from even another room! That’s enough evidence for me to vouch for their appeal. Always remember though, treats should be given in moderation. And if you notice any unusual behavior in your pet after introduction of a new treat or food, may be best to have a chat with your vet. Anybody else using these as rewards during training sessions? How is your experience?

I’ve also boarded the Fromm treats bandwagon for my French Bulldog, Gaston. The size is great, not too big and not too small – a perfect reward size to keep his training sessions lively without overfeeding him. They stood strong too, surviving in my pocket country-wide walks. Price-wise, they’re a tad on the expensive side, but given how long a bag lasts and the quality of ingredients used, they’re worth every penny! An added bonus: Gaston’s reaction when he hears the bag rustles is priceless! But remember folks, as it goes for everything else, moderation is key when it comes to pet treats. Always consult with your veterinarian if you are unsure about your dog’s diet or treat intake. Has any other product ever garnered a similar response from your pups?

Just jumping in on the Happy Hips train! I’ve been using these treats with my Poodle-Mix for almost a year now and she can’t get enough. I think it’s the chicken flavor that she loves so much. The good size of the treats also ensures that they lasted for an extended period, which is a big plus for me.

I did notice however, while price isn’t exactly cheap, you do get what you pay for. They’ve held up their quality and durability time after time. Just to add my two cents here – always monitor your pets while they’re enjoying anything new. And if any health concerns develop, consult with a vet just to be safe!

For anybody who has bigger breed dogs, do you find these treats work as well for them? Looking to recommend them to a friend with a Golden Retriever.

It’s quite refreshing to see multiple views on Happy Dog Dry Food. I’ve recently switched my golden retriever to this brand of food and it’s been nothing short of brilliant for her. She was a tad underweight and not showing much of an appetite before, but with this food, she chows down almost instantly! I can see her energy levels have also shot up, evident from the fact that she wants to play fetch way more than before.

In terms of size, I’d say the kibble is perfect even for smaller breeds (had a Maltese over for playdate and he managed just fine). The price tag does make you think twice but honestly, when it’s about our fur-babies health and happiness, it feels so worth it. Pardon some typos – typing while keeping a frisky Retriever at bay isn’t easy peazy.

But if your doggo seems unhappy or shows signs of discomfort after the switch, it’s probably best to check in with your vet. Anybody else notice their dogs’ coats getting glossier with Happy Dog? Or am I connecting unassociated dots here?
