  • To be honest, seeing my pup snuggle up so comfortably warms my heart – it’s quite durable annd super cozy so it feels like it was worth every penny. Just remmeber to take care of it properly, a good vacuum and occasional wash did wonders for ours.

@SpringerSpanielMom – totally agree with your sale shopping approach! Wait for the holiday sales or check out some outlet stores for some decent discounts. 👌 It made gulping down that price tag a bit more bearable ha!

Also, anyone tried memory foam beds? Heard they could be a good alternative… 🤔

To clean it up, we’ve had best luck using spot cleaners and baby wipes for quick fixes. For deep cleaning, we get it dry cleaned once every few months maybe four times a year tops. Ours held up pretty well this way.

Despite all of that, I would recommend anyone with heavy chewers to maybe consider a chew-resistant bed like the K9 Ballistics Chew Proof Elevated Dog Bed. It’s built specifically to withstand monster chompers!

BTW Has anyone tried any fabric sprays with this bed? Im thinking about a little extra freshness could be good. Thoughts?

But the Carhartt? It’s got this crazy tough canvas top that’s stood up to his rambunctious digging-in-for-a-long-night habit yet managed to keep him comfy all through the night. Plus, it’s super easy to clean which is bonus points in my book. Long story short, you get what you pay for annd the Carhartt is worth every penny. So yeah, for any new dog owners out there — invest in quality from the get-go. Your pooch (and your wallet) will thank you!

One thing I noticed, which I didn’t expect, was how much my dog’s skin health improved. She used to get these dry patches here and there with the old bed we had. Not anymore with this one – seems like the materials they’ve used are not just comfortable but also hypoallergenic?

Also, for those wondering about cleaning, it’s a breeze – just unzip and toss in the washer! Has anyone else noticed similar improvements in skin conditions after switching to Orvis or is it just us?

Isn’t it funny how they get all protective over their beds? At least they’re loving them that much! For the ones worrying about wear — have any of you tried using any protective covers for these beds? Might help increase their life span.

Also heads up for anyone looking at alternatives — we’d previously tried those elevated dog beds too and Kira only lukewarm about them, but I hear some dogs really dig em. Might be worth looking into if Barney ain’t doing it for ya or your pup messes theirs up too often.

The thing is, these beds aren’t like your standard ones right? They have an elevated design which inherently might seem a bit wobbly at first. But I reckon this stability issue gets worked out as our furry pals learn to hop on and off. My two cents? Give it some time, keep those screws snug and you should be golden.

Anyone else found any quirkeys with the fabric option they picked? My german Shepard seems to believe its a giant chew toy unfortunately.. LOL.

While we’re on alternatives, has anyone tried a cooling mat? My bulldog Charlie cannot get enough of it during our hot summer months. It’s cheaper than Yeti and no threads to worry about! To each their own, just tossing an idea out there for anyone on the fence about shelling out for the Yeti bed.

Dnt get me wrong; I have nothing against the Yeti, but have ya guys tried out the Casper dog bed? It’s like a luxury mattress for your furry friend. My Daisy just loves it to bits, and honestly, I can tell her sleep has improved a lot since we switched. They are pretty durable too and easy to clean – a godsend with how much Daisy sheds! Curious if anyone else here has tried one?

Just thought I’d drop my 2 cents in case someone’s lookin’ for alternatives.

Have you experienced the “no slip” base on this thing? Mine is always in its original place, no matter how much my lad loves to turn in circles before laying down.

But one question, did your dog have any trouble adjusting to it? My guy took a couple of days. Not sure if that’s quite common.

Has anyone else found a similar improvement in their dog’s comfort? Or any tips for keeping it fresh-smelling between washes?

But seriously guys, before rushing off to grab one for your fur baby, you gotta consider their sleeping habits y’know. Archie is more of a curled-up sleeper so it worked great for him, but if you’ve got dogs that sprawls or stretches out, they might find it a bit cramped. Might be worth rethinking based on the sleeping style of your pooch.

Has anyone else seen differences based on their dog’s sleep style? Would love hear other experiences. And oh — comfy snoozin’ to all puppers out there! 🐾
