Adding to what someone mentioned earlier about using a waterproof cover – totally agree! Saves me a lot of time on the clean-up. Sometimes Remus has those ‘oops’ moments – bless his little paws – and it’s such a relief to just throw the cover in the wash without worrying about the bed getting damaged.
Now onto PetSmart beds… gotta admit I’m pretty curious myself. If any of you decide to give it a shot, do share how it goes? Cheers!
Gotta say tho, the washable cover has been an absolute lifesaver – they weren’t joking about it being easy to take off annd clean. No hint of that musty wet dog smell either which is usually tatooed on every other dog bed we’ve had before.
Ever thought of getting an extra cover while the first one’s in the wash? It’s really helpful during muddy seasons, trust me! Anyone else do that or just me? 🤔
Ah, the Squishmallows dog bed! My pug, Biscuit, simply adores it! He’s been merrily snoozing in it from the moment we brought it home. It’s ridiculously soft and squishy – jsut as you’d expect form something named “Squishmallow” 😂. Plus it loooks pretty durable too, hasn’t shown signs of wear an d tear despite Biscuit’s enthusiastic digging before laying down. Anyone else’s dog do that too?
Totally agree with u/PawsomeMum – heat retention doesn’t seem to be a problem even though it looks like one fluffy sauna. I guess they’ve designed it really well. And about the cleaning part, oh boy, she’s not kidding about how easy it is! Just toss in the washer on gentle cycle and voila! Looks good as new.
Have any of you tried their other pet products? Curious if they’re as epic as this bed. 🐶
Beagle, she goes by the name of Bell, and trust me guys, its nothing short of heaven for her 🐕🦺. The slight smell you mentioned when you first set it up is normal, ours had it too but dissipated within a couple of days. But then, lemme tell you, the comfort that this bed provides is irreplaceable! Did any of you notice how it molds to your dog’s body shape? Bell is really getting the best sleep ever now 😁.
