  • Just got my sprinkle, a hyperactive corgi, an Orvis bed a couple months back annd boy, what a life changer. They’re superbly durable, and he can’t seem to stop snoozing on it. 😄 For those on the fence about the price – yeah, it’s steep but my old man always said “Buy it nice or buy it twie…”. So far, Sprinkle’s Orvis seems to be proving him right. By the way, have any of you tried their personalized covers yet? Thinking ’bout jazzing up Sprinkles’ new sanctuary.

So Daisy’s now on an all-natural diet with fresher, lighter options (think chicken, vegetables and rice) that makes her bounce off th walls even more. I’m seeing major changes in her energy levels and, well, vibrance.

But hey, does anyone have some recommended doggie treats to complement the diet? Preferrably small ones that fits into her play ball? Her old favorites aren’t doing her tummy any good…

A bit of advice for those with chewers out there: try the aluminum version, it’s been a game-changer for us. Honestly, at this point, it feels like the Kuranda beds last longer than most of my furniture. 😅 Anyone else noticed that too?

By the way, has anyone tried adding their own padding/fleece on top for extra coziness during winter months? 😊

Though, I totally agree with the chewy-dog issue raised before; had another pup that went at it like crazy. It kinda held up but eventually got messy. So yeah, tread careflly if your furball has sharp teeth and loves to use ’em on everything.

Now about Big Barker beds, eh? They seem pretty solid for larger breeds and orthopedic support is always a plus! Anyone used them with their smaller dogs though? Just curious.

in reply to: Facing Challenges with the Tuft and Needle Dog Bed? #4202

As for challenges, sometimes I feel like the bed might be a tad bit too firm for her liking (especially during winter months). It’s jsut a guess tho coz she never really told me 😉 lol. Has anyone here tried adding a blanket or something to make it more cozy? Or any other tips you’ve discovered?

in reply to: A Deep Dive into the Hello Kitty Dog Bed Experience #5776

gang, just wanted to chime in on this Hello Kitty dog bed topic. I totally agree with most of you, my furball absolutely loves hers! A huge hit from day one. And the fact that it’s machine washable? Total livesaver, specially with a rather messy bichon like mine. Has anyone else noticed their pups snuggling more often since getting this bed? Maybe it’s just me but Bella seems so much cozier now!
Just wondering if anyone tried using puppy training pads underneath? Bella had a few…uh ‘accidents’ during the first weeks and cleaning wasn’t exactly a piece of cake. Looking forward to your inputs guys! I’m all ears.

But I have got a question tho… Is anyone practising some sorta cleaning routine for it? And how often do you guys replace the foam pad inside? Is there any specific sign that I should look for indicating it needs replacement? Thanks, pals!

As a note for those of you concerned about cleaning – the covers are machine washable and they’ve survived plenty of spins in my washer. One thing I learned over time was that regular vacuuming really helps keep it fresh longer.

Has anyone tried using an additional blanket or heating pad during winters? How did your fur babies react? ————————————————————————–

Totally agree about the Yeti dog bed being a mealtime game-changer. My golden retriever, Charlie, always made a mess while gobbling down his meals – until we got this bed. He’s more settled now and really enjoys lounging on his Yeti post-dinner.

Quick tip, though… if your pup is a messy eater like mine, maybe put an easy-to-clean mat or blanket over the bed during meal times. It will save the bed’s fabric and keep it looking fresh longer!

Just curious.. anyone else using this trick or do you have better ways to keep the food spills in check on Yeti beds?

in reply to: Investing in a Squishmellow Dog Bed: Yay or Nay? #4563

Anybody else got a dog who’s hoarding their squishmellow like it’s some kind of treasure? 😄 Or am I alone on this one?

all, back with my experiences again – I just made the switch too! 😉 My old beagle Ruff has arthritis and this tempurpedic dog bed has been a major relief for him. He literally buries himself in it and snores away all day. No more tossing and turning on those hard beds.

But I’ve noticed that some dogs like Jake might prefer a firmer surface – my other pup, Bailey, isn’t a big fan of sinking into the bed. So might not work for every furry friend out there!

Has anyone else found a good non-foam alternative for dogs who prefer firm beds? 🐾 I’m open to suggestions! I agree it’s a game-changer, but let’s be there for our firm-bed loving pals too! 😄

But honestly, it all depends on your pup’s needs. If they’re suffering from arthritis or any other joint issues, then the Big Barker bed with its orthopedic foam is definitely worth the investment. For younger pups or those without physical ailments, you might consider checking out cheaper options. Anybody tried the Furhaven Pet Dog Bed? Our little Pomeranian loves it.
