But for those stubborn stains, I found something else that works wonders – baking soda & vinegar solution! That does the trick for me everytime. Although it makes Max annoyed with the smell when first applied 😄 but once it’s dried up completely – there’s no trace of either stain or odor and it becomes his favorite spot again.
Oh, and definitely NOT dishwasher safe, sorry! Don’t wanna damage its fluffy comfiness, right? And trust me, hand cleaning isn’t as terrible as it sounds 😉. Anyone else tried anything different that works better?
One thing you should really appreciate about L.L. Bean is their warranty. Few months in, we noticed a slight tear in one of the corners (more from Max’s excessive chewing than any fault on the product). I wasn’t expecting much, but they immediately sent us a replacement- no questions asked!
I feel like these may run a bit pricer than your average dog bed, but trust me the style, comfort and durability make it well worth it.
Question though – anyone else notice that this beig color gets grubby quickly? Is there any trick to cleaning it conveniently?
As for maintaining them, just wanted to add to the tip someone mentioned above – using a waterproof cover underneath the regular cover has made cleaning much easier and extended the bed’s life too. They’re pretty affordable at department stores or even online. Hope that helps!
Has anyone noticed any changes in their dogs’ behavior or sleep patterns since switching to these beds? Just curious to know if it’s just my furry buddy who seems a bit more chipper these days!
For those guys with diggers out there like mine, does anybody else have a recommendation? We’ve tried a few different brands and haven’t found our holy grail yet. Can’t fault the TP for comfiness though! 👍
