But coming to cleanliness, how are you all managing? My boys do leave quite a mess sometimes. Any tips for tackling those not-so-cherry-on-top moments?

The memory foam is great for his hip dysplasia. I’ve noticed a big difference in how easily he’s getting up after his naps. annd don’t me started on the cost factor – it’s a fraction of what you’d pay for a similar quality bed elsewhere.

Does anyone else’s dog do the same with the bolster tho? Scamp uses it like a pillow and it’s adorable but I worry about it flattening out over time. Any tips on maintaining them?

Only thing I can advise is – give these beds a real good squish before your pup tries it out. jsut floof up the cushioning to keep it from bunching. Seriously folks, don’t underestimate the power of a good bed floofing!

Out of curiosity, anyone try the Orvis dog beds? Was considering that one as an alternative before landing on Harry Barker…

And as much as I’m all for brand loyalty and matching Spot’s bed to my kids’ Hello Kitty everything, there are some pretty top-notch durable and orthopaedic options out there that could be better suited for larger dogs if that’s what you’re dealing with. Just a thought!

folks – couldn’t agree more about the Furhaven bed! I’ve got two for my Boxer-Lab mix and it’s literally his favorite spot in the house. Super comfy and hold up really well over time. In fact, I’d say they’re pretty much “wreck-proof.”

Also, defo take the time to measure your dog before buying. Just a lil tip from my experience: If in doubt, go bigger – pups love a bit more sprawl space!

One quick qs though, anybody tried washing these? How did the bed fair post-spin in the washer?

    Stay pawsome y’all! 🐾

in reply to: Yeti Dog Bed Makes Feeding Time More Comfortable #3847

Who needs a dining table when you’ve got a Yeti, right? 😂 But remember guys, cleaning is key—dog food crumbs can really get stuck in the fabric. So regular vacuuming or even a wash now and then will keep it smelling fresh. Anyone else found any neat tricks to maintain it? Would love to hear your tips!

I totally feel ya on the hunt for the perfect PetSmart dog bed. Been there! My golden, Max, he’s a particular fellow when it comes to his sleeping quarters. Initially got him one of those plush donut beds from PetSmart but it lost its fluffiness pretty quick and he didn’t seem comfortable anymore.

Then we tried the Top Paw Orthopedic dog bed and I gotta say, Max seems to enjoy it much more. It’s a bit pricier, but hey, anything for our fur babies, right? The memory foam holds up well and he seems to sleep better on it. Anyone else have experience with the Top Paw options?

And while we’re on the topic of beds, anyone ever take their pup to PetSmart to try out some beds before buying? Maybe that could be a good approach to consider?

    Cheers,

in reply to: Why I’m Trading My Sofa for a Bedsure Dog Bed #4193

One thing though – has anyone else here noticed their Bedsure bed wearing thin after a few months? Or is it just my heavy bear causing the trouble? Would love some cleaning and maintenance tips if you guys have any. Thanks in advance!

I got one for my Golden Retriever, Benny, last year. He’s a pretty aggressive chewer but Carhartt advertised that firm commitment to durability. Sadly, within a couple of months, he ripped through the cover and was chomping down on the stuffing.

That said, I gotta say on other fronts this bed is fantastic. It is really comfortable (atleast according to Benny’s blissful snores 😄) and made from quality material, except it just couldn’t hold up against Benny’s chewing antics.

For you folks out there with less destructive chewers (don’t get me wrong Benny’s a good boy…just loves his chew time), you’re going to love this bed and your dog most certainly will too! And hey, any tips on deterring heavy chewers from destroying their comfy sanctums?

Regarding multiple dogs using the same Plufl bed, I’d say go for it. It’s working out pretty well at mine, granted my dogs are relatively small-ish. May not be the same story for larger breeds.

Has anyone tried washing the Plufl yet? Kinda worried how it would hold up in the wash…

As for the cleaning part, we’ve tried washing it in warm water and mild soap (nothing harsh). Air dry it afterward though, it helps to maintain the fluffiness that our Daisy seems to adore.

On another note, anyone else find their dogs sleeping more often than usual on this bed? jsut curious.

Anyone else notice this with their fur babies? Also, curious to know if you guys have explored any pet-friendly recipes that you prepare at home or do you primarily stick to store-bought dog food? Let’s keep our pups as comfy in their meal habits as they are on those cushy Yeti beds!

P.S. If you’re interested, I can share a killer recipe for homemade peanut butter dog treats – Ruffles can’t get enough!
