MemberAnyhow, seems like a pretty solid buy for my doggo, so I’ll put this one in the “win” column for now but would appreciate any tfips on keeping its shape intact!

MemberJust remember every dog has its own preferences like we do. Maybe try your pup on different beds at your friends’ places to see what kind of stuff they prefer? It could save you a fair bit of trial and error (and money!). Anyone else done this before?

MemberOn the bright side, it’s proving to be pretty resilient despite his antics. Make sure you give it a good fluff up after a wash, they bounce back nicely. Has anyone tried the larger sizes yet or do they have similar mishaps lol?

MemberIn response to @RetrieverMama’s comments about Kirkland dog beds – I wholeheartedly agree. We’ve been using them for our Goldie since she was a pupper and even though she’s outgrown her first one (obviouslyn), we’ve happily stuck with the brand ever since.
What I particularly love about these beds is thier excellent value for money. Plus, they hold up surprisingly well despite Goldie’s best attempts at “redecorating” it – if you know what I’m talking about haha!
As for sizing, in my experience, make sure to give your pooch enough room to fully stretch out – comfort is king!. If you’re caught in between sizes, always go bigger, you can’t really mess up giving them extra space.
Has anyone else had this experience with larger breeds? Or did you find going smaller worked out okay? Always curious to hear other thoughts!

MemberBut, just outta curiosity… anyone else notice the bed takes a while to dry after washing? Our’s seems to hang onto water a bit longer than our old beds. Maybe it’s just me or does it happen with you guys as well? On a side nite, make sure you got space in your machine before tossing this beast in there. It ain’t a small task.

MemberAnother thing that I appreciated was how easy it is to clean and maintain. With Buddy’s old fluffy bed, we had a tough time dealing with all the fur and dirt, despite weekly washes. Now, it’s just wipe and clean, simple as that.
And I guess from the doggo’s point of view (literally) they must enjoy being elevated. Cause you know, they like keeping an eye on everything around them (including those pesky squirrels), right? So the Kuranda bed provides kinda a VIP seat for them to observe their surroundings.
Isn’t the world just better from a Kuranda bed! 😉 Anyone else found this elevated viewpoint beneficial for your pup? Or is it just me obsessing over Buddy’s newfound love for heights?! 🤣

MemberOn the flipside tho guys, have any of you tried out the Sherpa Original Deluxe pet bed? From what I’ve heard, it’s also a great option for our furry pals especially if they get easily anxious or prefer cuddling into something extra soft.
Can anyone share their experiences with it? Would really appreciate some feedback before possibly giving it a go. Cheers!

MemberAbout cleaning it though – any tips for dealing with stubborn stains? That light gray shade is not always forgiving with my messy munchkins around 😅

MemberOn the other hand, if you’re looking for an alternative, I found that the Orvis dog beds really do last longer annd they’re great quality. Daisy’s been snoozing away happily on hers for over a year now with no signs of wear and tear. Just throwing it out there for those on fence between Snoozer and another brand!

MemberThough I’m a little concerned about the white fabric (got utterly messed up after Tilly’s muddy paw incident… sigh). Anyone got tips on how to keep it clean? Or do I just accept defeat now and get another darker colored bed in case of these mini disasters?

MemberOn another note, I’ve seen quite a few folks debating btween different Orvis dog bed models. From my personal experience, the Deep Dish Dog Bed with Memory Foam has been a winner. It’s super cozy and supportive for Chester’s joints.
As an alternative though, you might want to check out beds from Big Barker if your bud is on the larger side or has joint issues. They’re designed specifically for bigger dogs and have crucial orthopedic feaures. Hope this helps! How old is Lexi by the way?
